I don't think they are underrated...just not known that well, sadly. I've been listening to them for years. Wow, KEXP sound is fantastic!
Britt Daniel once said that he always wanted to be a musician, not a rockstar, and I think he accomplished it
This performance melts my face every time.
I found the announcer's reaction (Cheryl) at the end of this beautiful song so moving. Her voice was quivering. That would happen to me too. This is a masterpiece in my estimation. Thank you, Spoon. One of those "go to" songs in my life. I love how Britt is smiling at the end. I wonder if he caught her reaction "Thank you, Cheryl", he says.

Amazing song. I just realized towards the end he was motioning to the person doing sound to turn down the volume on one of the other instruments.
