This song means the world to me. I pop in from time to time. My little place of comfort. Today i found a good friend of mine passed away suddenly. Only 52 and a dad to two young girls. This play is for you Matt. Travel safe buddy. Will miss you dearly.

I remember hearing this song for the first time. It was at a party where I knew almost nobody. Most people were stoned AF but I was fully sober. When this song came on we were sitting outside and heard this song on the background, we just sat there listening and I think that moment will stay with me for a long while.

I totally undersrand. This song makes me sob every time I listen, and ESPECIALLY 7 minutes in. I saw them in Seattle last year and was so bummed that this wasn't on the predicted set list and when they first started playing it I totally lost it. They even did a longer rendition, which was so cool.

Today I went to the funeral of a 20 year old boy. He died a week ago while being hid by a car. My daughter and that 20 year old boy were very close. During the funeral, the boy's favorit music was played. This song was one of them. I was very much touched by it. Hundreds of people were at the funeral and because of the fact that there were so many people, the greeting of the coffin took a long time. I heard that song 3 time. I had never heard the song before and I took my phone and used Shazam app in order to know the title of the song. It will always remember me of that boy who still had a whole life to go. He had such a nice character and we all will mis him a lot😢

Dreamscapes on the edge of sleeping .. canyons and peaks .. heard Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin. One night the DJ played the entire Tangerine Dream "Ricochet" album.
I was ten at the time. I hadn't even kissed a girl. I am there now .. reaching for the volume knob.

Usually when I listen to a long song, 10+ minutes, I'll know, I'm aware while listening right, but this song, it has you so involved that you loose yourself. If someone would of told me it's 11 mins long, I wouldn't believe them.

So I discovered the war on drugs in 2018 January. Back then I was involved in one of the greatest periods of my life. I was a part of something, I had meaning I had purpose I had something to fight for and life was good and there were many bad moments but overall it was one of the greatest periods of my life. I accomplished things during that time period that I thought I never would and I achieved things people told me were impossible. And their album a deeper understanding was part of that soundtrack to that time period. And then I discovered lost in the dream which also became part of it. But I will tell you there is only a handful of musicians that give me chills when I listen to them. And a hand full of guitarists that do the same. When he breaks out into that guitar solo I just get chill he's singing to me with that guitar and only a few can do it and do it right. This man is highly underrated. No wonder they won the Grammy. I will say the next album I don't live here anymore kind of fell off for me. It's good but it just doesn't have the same passion to me as lost in the dream and a deeper understanding. It's really missing those 10-minute lengthy songs.

This beautiful song reminds me of those beautiful moments; on these beautiful evenings, inside this lovely bar, in the company of this beautiful blonde.
The lovely drinks, the smoke in the air; the music I vaguely remember; but her beautiful smile that I’ll never forget.
Everyone in the room just wasn’t there; just a blur; but her beautiful smile; the aroma of her skin and the taste of her kisses were all that exist.
“I’m thinking of a place”; and this melody takes me there.

It was back in Little Bend that I saw you
Light was changing on the water
    Where birds above had flown
There was pain in your eyes
So you vanished in the night
    Missouri River in the distance
So I lied upon the lawn
I remember walking against the darkness of the beach
Love is like a ghost in the distance, ever-reached
Travel through the night 'cause there is no fear
Alone but right behind till I watched you disappear
    I'm moving through the dark
    Of a long black night
    Just moving with the moon
    And the light it shines
And I'm thinking of a place
And it feels so very real
    Just moving through the dark
Once I had a dream I was falling from the sky
    Coming down like running water
    Passing by myself alight
In the morning, I would wake to the sound of someone's voice
Like little whispers through the silence
    I'm moving through the dark
    Of a long black night
And I'm looking at the moon
    And the light it shines
But I'm thinking of a place
And it feels so very real
    Oh, the suffering of love
Come and take my hand, babe
There's a turn in the road that we've been taking
    Let it set you free
Because there's a rhythm in the way that we've been moving
Yeah, there's a darkness over there, but we ain't going
See it through through my eyes
    Walk me to the water
Hold my hand as something turns to me
    Love me every night
    Drown me in the water
Hold my hand as something turning me
    See it through my eyes
    Love me like no other
And hold my hand as something turns to me
    And turns me into you
    Lead me through the night
    Pull me from the water
Hold my hand as something turns to me
    Turns me into you
Just see it through my eyes
    Love me like no other
Hold my hand as something turns to me
    Turns me into you
    Turning me
    Into you
