I graduated HS in 2018, and foolishly didn't take any math classes my senior year as they were optional, and back then, I didn't think I would go to college. Im now 24, haven't been in school in 6 years, and haven't done "math" in more like 7 years. Hopefully following this all the way through will allow me to place decently on the accuplacer so I can begin classes (at my local community college)

I just wanted to say thank you so much!! I had taken the TSI several times and always had a score of 949 or 948 I never knew how to bring it up, I really needed to pass in order to take my statistics class which I need for college, I watched your TSI crash course videos all day yesterday and I took the test again today and passed with a 954!! Your videos really explain to think critically what the question is asking to solve for, thank you so much!!!🙏

im just now starting my journey to get into college. It's been 5 years since i left high school, and i'm super nervous about taking this TSI test. Im a more visual learner so im definitely going to binge watch these and take notes! Im seeing everyone praise the full course but unfortunately im at a low point in life so i cant afford it. Hopefully i can scrap up something and ill invest in buying it. Thank you for these videos.

Do they repeat questions, I have exam in the next 2 days and I have been out of school for over 20yrs
@queenjab8219 occasionally, perhaps, but much better to understand the concepts so you can handle any question they throw at you, rather than trying to memorize answers to questions you probably won’t see…

I been out of school for 8 years and his crash course helped me remember most of everything about math. Again, thank you so much!!! I do have one question. I took the TSI math and I scored a 962, I just want to know is that a C or B?

It’s hard to say exactly what letter grade a 962 would be… but if I had to guess I’d say closer to a B.

Thank you so much for your videos, i am going to present my exam on friday and im tryning to binge all of this content because I am really worried that i am not prepare for this exam . I couldn't afford saddly the course but i would have love to do it, but still greatfull with this videos but to all of the people that are seeing this, if you can afford it, do it pay for it, you need to be aware that this is a investment for a biggest reward, and if you are like me and cant afford it, this videos still really helpfull. Hi! Hope you see this comment, just a question, is this sort of if not the exact sort of material on the TSI? Or perhaps is this content harder than TSI or less difficult
These questions are on the easier end of the range I’d expect you to see, probably the kinds of questions you might see on the 48 question “diagnostic” section you take if you don’t pass the first 20 on the TSI…
I bump up the level of difficulty as you work your way through the course, but you need the basics to handle the higher level-of-difficulty questions you’ll see later in the course…

The most recent TSIA2 practice exam is a decent representation of the kinds of questions you’re likely to see on the first set of 20 questions, but it simply doesn’t include every single concept or question type tested on the TSIA2…

hello sir! i hope you're doing well. i want to ask you a question about dsat vocabulary. i'm an international student and stuck in vocab part. mostly i don't know the meanings of the words or even though if i know, i can't replace it correctly. what can you reccommend for me?should i memorize vocabulary lists or focus on other topics in r&w? do you know approximately how much can i get if i got all the answers correct except the vocab questions in r&w?
Thank you for reaching out!! Here’s what I recommend for all my students who struggle with academic vocabulary (and reading comprehension in general):
Read 15 minutes per day, looking up definitions of every single unfamiliar vocabulary word as you read.
Write down the word and definition (keep it simple - whatever that word means in the context of the sentence… just a word or two is good)
Flash cards and vocab worksheets aren’t that helpful, because the SAT isn’t just about definitions: it’s about definitions IN CONTEXT.
So pick out a non-fiction book on a topic you’d actually be interested in reading for 15 minutes per day, and read it well, looking up definitions as you go. Keep that up for 6 weeks + and you will start actually understanding what you’re reading in a way you never did before!
Takes time to build, but like any skill the benefits compound over time. With practice you can become fluent in “academic English” and you’ll reap the rewards with a score increase on the Reading and Writing section…
