I SUFFERED in school for as long as I can remember growing up.. probably as far as 3rd grade.
I really can’t grasp the Fact I graduated Highschool without being held back a Grade.
I went on to joining the Military because I felt College was Out the window the second I graduated school.
Here I am 30 Years old and terrified

I failed math with the score of 930something. After I purchased your math full course and studied about a week, I just passed (less than hour ago lol) with the score of 959. Hi, I just passed my TSI exam and got 952. 🤪 your video helped me a lot. If you are interested I still remember the whole test questions, I can tell you the topics, which can help your students or you can make a new video based on that 😉 .Your 6 videos covers all those topics instead of one video. I think it should be much easier if you make 1 video of those topic for 20 questions.

Don’t be intimidated! If you approach the questions the way I teach you to in my course, you barely need algebra! Watch my videos, relax, and let me know if you have any questions!!

Hi again Mr. Toohey. Sorry to bother you again but I’m having difficulty with the last question. I understood it completely when you went over it in the video. And I wanted to test it with other numbers to see if it would work so I tried plugging in different numbers for w but for some reason I’m not getting the answer I need.
I tried 10 for w:
Last year
w = 10
This year
3x2 = 6 + 10 = 16
Next year
16x2 = 32
I plugged in for A 2(10) = 20
for B 2(10)+3 = 23
for C 4(10) +3 = 43
for D 4(10) +6 = 46
None of those give me 32. I tried both 1 and 2 for w and same thing. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong
If w=10 (the “last year” amount) then the “this year” amount should be 3 + 2(10) which is 23. (Remember 3 more than twice the number last year?) That makes the “next year value 46, which would be answer choice D.
Does that make sense?

I haven't been to college since the fall of 1989. I've forgotten most of what I did know. I need to take and pass the TSI in math because I'm returning to college at age 66 in January 2024, It looks like with one exception all your training videos are at least two years old. Is there a way you could update this training. I don't understand all this algebraic reasoning,
geometrical reason, statistical reasoning, etc. Or point me to someone who will.

Hello so I don’t have a lot of time to take tsi but how long is you’re course because I literally have four days to go and take tsi and I was wondering if you’re course covers everything in four days sir?
Students have passed the test in just and handily of days using my course! Technically, I break up the course into 6 “Days” of prep (about 2 hours of video instruction and a practice problem set at the end of each “Day”, but if you have the tie you can do more than one section of the course per day…
So it depends on how much time you can devote to your work… but students have completed everything (and passed!) in less time… it’s definitely doable!

How did you get the 7 on question 2
Good question! Well, the question says “the length is 3 yards greater than the width”, so if the length is 10 then the width HAS to be 7… make sense?

That depends how much time you have between now and Friday, and how many of my videos you’ve seen already… The video part includes 13 hours of instruction, but some of most will be better than none… I’ve had some students finish in 2-3 days, so it depends how much time you have available…

How many questions do I have to get right to pass? I know it’s a score of 950 but how many questions can I miss?
That’s a great question! There’s a lot of debate about that, and no clear answers (they keep that info kinda hush-hush). If I were to venture a guess though, I would say getting around 14 of the first 20 questions right should be good enough to help you pass... but keep in mind if you do well enough on the supplemental section, you can still pass even if you don’t do well enough on the first 20! And nobody knows (that I’m aware of) how many you need to get right on that section to pass...

@MichaelToohey their are 6 trees planted in the 1st row, it's 18 sections of rows total, if each row increases by 3 trees each time how many trees will you have in total at the end of the 18th row. ( sorry its know it's a mouthful)
