Thanks! I'm afraid I probably won't finish it - partly because I get bored and don't like going back to something, and partly because I'd probably overwork it and lose the sketch elements that I like.

Hi Helen , lovely stroll around Girona , as beautiful as ever and brings back happy memories for me . Your watercolour is looking good , you've certainly captured the vibe . love to see it when you've finished . I checked on Google and found that the flower festival was on 12th-19th May , missed it by a day !!!! Good reason th return next year , have fun , Mike in Exeter xx
Glad you've been here too! Thank you - I don't think I'll return to the sketch though - I'm afraid I get bored very easily, and don't like going back to something after the mood's left me. It's a bit of a problem for capturing buildings though, as they seem to take longer. I'm currently giving thought to how I approach buildings in the future.
I actually don't mind missing the festival - I quite like a quieter vibe!

such a lovely picture of you Helen...it is so nice to put a face to your voice and youtube content...for some reason...I thought you had short hair......I LOVE that church...gonna have to rewind and catch the correct name and google it...all those statues...built into the walls!...unreal...the architecture...and I come from a couple generations of Architects...so it sure spiked my interest...Thanks to you...I now have heard and seen a bit of Girona Spain...not on the coast! Ohhhhhh… such gorgeous architecture!! What a stunning area!! Hope you’re having a fabulous time together😊. (Beautiful sketch/painting, even if you don’t feel that it’s done. I sometimes like keeping my painting in an earlier stage like that in my sketchbook. Occasionally I’ll finish them later, but even if I don’t, I like that “early” state.)
It really is a great place - it's why I was so surprised I'd never heard of it before driving through here once!
With my sketch, aside from just not feeling like painting any more, I'd probably mess it up if I carried on, too. I don't really know what I'm doing with buildings yet!

It looks so stunning there lots of inspiration for art there I love all the old buildings and churches. I’m going to Spain next week to Tarragona. I’m not sure whether to take my art kit with me or not. Lovely painting you have done x

Take your art kit to Tarragona. My wife and I visited the city last year and found lots of sites suitable for an art creation. Watch out for the human tower statue.
