My 7 year old daughter got one of these for Christmas. The written instructions where very poorly written, thank you for making this vid it was very simple for us to watch and understand what needs to be done. She’s currently on a mission to make a scarf it’s great to watch her take pride in creating something, thank you ❤️

I think this is where I should start. I have practiced crocheting for a while but honestly it's very overwhelming with all the different stitches. Plus the yarn and hook I just cant get comfortable with.
This looks like something I might enjoy and hopefully not get to frustrated with. I'd like to find a hobby I can do in the evenings.

One of our teachers recently started a loom knitting club at our elementary school after watching your videos. She started a fundraiser on Donors Choose and it was fully funded within 24 hours.
So far there are almost 30 kids (half are boys) and 4 adults!
We knit after school and during lunch the club members have the option to eat and loom in the teacher’s classroom. It has been a true delight to watch them create hats and scarves. Some are now adding pom poms and learning more complex stitches.
I just ordered a kit on Amazon and there are plenty of looms to share with other teachers and students.
Thanks for your awesome tutorials. ❤🧶

I cannot wait to start making more things to donate to the shelters. I cannot wait to teach my 7 y/o sister to loom.

Well that is it, I am hooked!!!! I am an avid crochet nut but always loved the knitted look. But have made several attempts to learn to knit. And the brain and the hand coordination are not having it.
This I can definitely do. Your channel popped up under my yarn feed alerts. Started watching the beginner playlist and now waiting for my loom kit to come in. I do craft fairs to supplement my income and been wanting to add new items to my shows. Thank you for doing a beginner series for us loom newbies!❤❤ Very easy to follow and you explain how the loom and yarn stitching works. So excited to get rolling on this little project.
    Happy hooking/looming!☺❤

I haven't taken the time to read through all of the posts so maybe someone has already shared this tip, but in case no one has, next time you're out & about running errands, stop by your local McDonald's and grab a couple of their plastic straws. When you're ready to begin a new loom project, grab one of those straws, (*I need to edit here) cut the straw in half, then push the end of your yarn through the straw. Now go ahead and make your slip knot, attach it to your loom, push the straw up against the pegs, and holding the straw like you would a pencil or pen, begin making your e-wraps. You will be amazed at how quickly you wrap those pegs! It's like magic! I hope ya'll find this to be a helpful hint.
I've been looming for many years and have donated hundreds of hats, scarves, tube socks, blankets, ponchos...I call them my Love Jobs. It's my way of feeling useful even though I'm disabled and unable to get around much anymore, and the recipients are so appreciative. If you get the Knifty Knitter set of four looms of varying sizes you can use the blue loom to make hats for the NICU babies, the red loom for newborn and toddler hats, the green loom for children, and the yellow loom for adults. There's even a smaller loom than the blue one that you buy separately that makes tube socks for babies. I also make matching scarves, flat not tubular, for the older kids and adults (search for videos on how to make flat pieces on round looms). With the large yellow loom you can make flat panel pieces, sew them together to create beautiful blankets, shawls, and ponchos. Depending on the weight of your yarn, you can make light and airy shawls or go with the bulky yarn and make something soft and warm. Just play with your looms and search UA-cam for lots of amazing videos and new ideas. I even taught my hubbs how to loom knit one year at Christmas time when I was falling behind in making my gift projects. He would sit there knitting while watching tv and his scarves were wonderful! I'm now teaching my 7 year old granddaughter how to loom knit and she loves it. I hope that I've been helpful and encouraging and remember my motto...there's no such thing as too much yarn!! Have fun!!

Someone brought a bag containing all the different looms and tools with yarn and unfinished projects to my mothers crochet class and left it for anyone who wanted it. I crochet a lot, in fact i teach crochet now and then at the community center, but I had never knit or knit on a loom. I mostly appreciate your talking! I've been coming across a lot of video with music and word instructions.
I'm not wired to learn like that.
So...Thank you and I'm looking forward to being a subscriber to your channel and learning to create some beautiful things!

Just bought a set of 3 today and I thought it looked easy since I am pretty crafty. The instructions on the pkg got me no where and I ripped it out 3 times. Thought I needed a visual tutor for help--and there you are! Now I am on row 4 and zooming along. I still tend to make it a little too night, but I am making dish cloths with scrubby yarn and it has no "give", so I am loosening up on the inside with my thumb before making the loop around the peg. The yarn is so abrasive that the one I crocheted made a cut on the top of my left index finger! So this will keep my fingers in one piece. Thank you for getting me started. AH

Wow that's really helpful because I was struggling, because both WikiHow and the instructions that came with my loom didn't help. The instructions implied to me somehow that I was supposed to push off both loops, they don't say you have to keep the single loop on the peg. So of course if you push off both loops it will come apart. Now I get what I was doing wrong!
