It was Ferrari that kade them remove the widebody kit.
Yooo Nick.. I don’t think these Dev notes actually capture all the tiny little details they update in the game you know…
So prior to the update, I noticed the clock on the Speedo (bottom middle) cluster for the New Porsche Cayman GT4RS didn’t ever change… it was locked at 12:45 or 12:46 previously when I did a midday race around Kylami.
This was matched to the time on the high level dash clock too!
You could effectively do a 20 minute race and the time never advanced.
After the patch, both the clocks now count time correctly with both clocks advancing as you’d expect of a clock…
Minor detail, but it’s a nice little touch which should have been right from the off….
However, I get OCD badly and I’m quite thorough about minor details, so I’m not sure how many other people notice, but look at the dash gear selector indicator.
Ever notice that you’re bombing around your favourite track in this car… Whilst still in park!? 🤦♂️😂

Ps - I also hate that the stock Cayman GT4RS clearly has a rear 1/4 cage in the car in standard trim, without upgrading to fitting a full cage… But it always bugs me that you can’t see the rear cage in your own rear view mirror like you do in real life!! Little thing I know, but it bothers me! 🤷♂️😂

They have the audacity to remove a sick looking widebody (probably due to licensing) but leave a bug that's been there for months, wow.

They removed the body kit from the Ferrari thinking it'd fix the wing. It did not. 💀

@@nicholascanjuga6000 spacers are required, but also not limiting small cars to extremely small tire sizes would help a lot a majority of the cars in the game would actually be competitive if they had bigger tires on top of that. I think the Forza rear bumper and hood upgrade should be a part of every car in the game. Not just a few

@@nicholascanjuga6000Yeah, I was excited for this update, downloaded the game again and remembered spacers weren’t in the game, so I deleted it. For me its either building good looking cars, playing game modes that are fun and mostly non-competitive (to me) like open track day, airfield meetup, and infected/virus tag, but the game has none of those 😂. On top of that I haven’t enjoyed career mode in any game since Motorsport 4

Small thing but I wish they would add the feature from FH where you can move the camera when upgrading your car so you can see what the upgrades (new rims, body modifications, etc.) look like from other angles other than the default head-on angle

The fact thst this update is basically just fixing everything the game should've came with in the first place, and everyone is calling it the best update ever, is crazy

Well there have only been 6 updates and the first 5 really didn’t do much except add tracks and make minor fixes so yes update 6 is the best update but that’s not really saying much

There's one of the muscle car's, if you add the hood pins, it removes the hood as well, and you can actually see the engine the entire time
One thing that makes this system better than just buying parts like we do in Forza Horizon is that dismounting parts, for example to make it different class or try different build, puts points back into pool, while in FH you would have to pay full price of parts again, bar for parts shared between builds.
In Forza horizon once you buy a part it’s always owned so for instance if u buy drift tires then buy race tires you won’t need to buy the drift tires again if u go back to a drift tune

I use all my credits buying new cars. Wasting it on upgrades when I have another means to upgrade(I.E. actually use the car) I will use that means. Race one tour with one car and it is to level 23-28 usually by the end of the tour in which case all meaningful upgrades(tires, brakes, etc) are available. If they made credits quicker to earn I would use the new method. I have had zero issues getting around 40 cars to level 50 since game dropped. No issues at all.
I feel the same way. Everyone complaining is so weird.. that's why games go dead after a short period of time, the fact that people don't like challenging racing games anymore blows my mind. The leveling up in the beginning made you feel/know your car and appreciate the upgrades. Getting excited about unlocking a new part was nostalgic.
The fact that they made the leveling system x2 as easy first and people still cried blows my mind 😂 play the game, don't see cod players mad about needing to level up jeez helldivers is being PRAISED for being to hard.. I truly do miss the respect that we had in a lobby when someone really knew the car they were driving vs buying one and downloading a tune off the rip 🙄
@@zacharychilton3388right and the argument always was “well this isn’t COD, and Motorsport was never like this, you don’t level up a car irl” which really just boiled down to ppl saying they don’t like change, despite the fact on the last few Forza games all ppl complain about is the game being just like the last game and wanting more change 🙄
Agreed, but I do like that now I can add time or bumpers with credits and save the points for performance upgrades
This gives the feeling of the corpos seeing the annoyance of the playerbase and telling the devs "alright, work on what you want" and then bam, this excellent update
Also it seems like the lighting is more consistently good and textures seem sharper than before. The game is finally where it should have been at launch. Things should only be going up from there.

Finally we've got the freedom to buy car points! Also the 86 Lotus sounds awesome! Off memory that's the same car which was in Project Cars, putting out about 1200HP at maximum boost. That thing was so insane, I had to run it on 5.1 out of 6 boost. Anything greater than that was outright dangerous.

Car levelling is a great aspect and has existed in many of the games prior to FM5 onwards... it's helped me learn circuits and improve my driving taking a B539 car into a lobby full of B600's...
My legacy has the same kinda hood glitch, apart from its just gone when youre on track but you can see the engine clearly in the menu

So i gotta walk back my initial thoughts about the upgrade system. It DID in fact need a revise, and i think this is a nice medium. For those that just wanna speedrun builds, as long as you have the cred, buy the CP and upgrade your car. For those who would rather grind it out, take the grass roots route and level uo your car, buying the parts YOU deem important along the way, with no hindrance. Very NFS underground 2 like.

Just downloaded the update 6. The overall color of cars and environment seemed to have changed. It's almost like a high contrast color pallet.

Let’s talk about that for a second. I lost tournament positions because of the pit system glitching and ruining my tires and refuel options and it picking for me. That made me stop playing till it was fixed

I've bought every Forza Motorsport since the first one on OG xbox. FM7 was a huge letdown, and thus far I haven't bought FM8. I'll wait until they fix everything and add all the tracks I want. I blame Turn10 and Microsoft for poor management and investors.

For those of us that create liveries, it seems you can no longer move vinyls around in small increments, at least on PC. It's very difficult to have any precision in placing design elements. Making liveries is 50% of the game to me.

This is coming from somebody who only has a part-time job three times a week so I had the time to race and even I got sick of the Car RPG mechanics eventually.
It took me about two months to finally see that this was completely stupid and was artificially put in the game to retain players.
In fact this most likely did the opposite!
Is credits now have true value because how do you upgrade a car in real life?

Career mode this month most of the cars are recycled from previous titles.
I guess I’ll deal with that but they do need to fix the GT4RS front bumper as soon as possible.
Horizon 5 had the same issue until recently.
It is a small annoyance, but I’m not sure how the same mistake was made from horizon to motorsport. I find it weird that they seemingly share car models but they don’t share sound files.
The sound could also use some work it seems as if they took the GTS sound and pitched it higher . 😢
The bumper issue will be fixed in time as they eventually did so in horizon but overall I would say this is the best update we’ve had and I hope this is the update that starts to bring people back and gets the game off the ground

The 458 widebody was removed because Ferrari are doing typical Ferrari things and preventing people from doing anything crazy with their cars. It's not the developers fault at all. Although, why they didn't also remove the wing, I don't know.

former car progression was nice - but all the modifications should have been available from the start. Now you can use money to buy mods but i do not know - in career mode it is a bit broken people just goliath their cars from the start with that.
If there's one part of upgrades that should be locked away behind a level, it should be engine and drivetrain swaps.
