To echo several comments I think Richard is a brilliant and humble musician with incredible insight to breaking down how different guitarist's achieve their specific phrasing and tone. These are my favorite lessons on youtube. I learn something from every one that he does.
Such a brilliant and humble musician. Always a privilege to learn from him.
You are a true master Richard
Richard is my favourite guitar player on UA-cam. Just a brilliant, brilliant inspiring musician
Besides your tasteful and great playing and feel, I love your humor, (blind as a bat these days 😂). And of course in our age we all fight the same problems. A lot to learn here, thank you very much!
Lovely playing and tasty examples. Thanks Richard!
Nailed it! 👍👍
What a thoughtful and well delivered instruction on an all time favourite tune of mine.
Thank you Richard 🙏
Thank you!
So elegant
Great stuff Sounds soooo cool!!!!!
Damn - you Nailed Gilmour's style & sound! Nicely done, Sir.
Great Richard - great stuff again
Really articulate playing Richard. You're very good 😎 Thanks for the lesson. Awesome tone too.
Thats a wonderful guitar sound... Phew!
your examination of David G's style is really illuminating! although I've listened to him for decades and could audibly ID his style, your verbalization of it FINALLY makes sense. Thanks, Richard - a wonderful lesson
I’m glad to have helped and thanks for your kind words 🙏🏻
Great explanation and demonstration. You really did nail it. Wonderful. Thank you.
Those EMG pickups sound great
Sounds great . He also uses the 9th of the scale with a rake a lot. And his vibrato bar work.
Richard and David Gilmour - two of my all-time favorite guitar players! I already have DG’s next recording release on pre-order! Great episode, Richard (still waiting for more of those John Lee Hooker vamps)! 😂😂😂
Ha! Haven’t done that in this new format yet, so watch this space 😁
Perfect !
We want more Richard based content....now!
Great 👏
Make a lesson on how David Gilmour bends the major 2nd or 9th licks.
Your playing is the closest sounding to Gilmour that I’ve heard yet, and I’ve been a Gilmour fan since the beginning.
Where can I get the backing track to practice though
