Wow- I have been searching for a video that could get me to pay attention to actually listening to the tips and tricks like yours but often hang out for lesser than 2 mins but I was listening to yours from the start to the end. Thanks! Subscribed
Kendra, great video. Loved that you showed and gave a detailed explanation of how you plan for work. Your content was blurred just enough to protect sensitive information, however it did not impair your overall content. Thanks so much and I look forward to the collab with Antonisha.
In this video you mentioned left handed issues. Here is a tip I Learned that might help some people . If you have a ring binder, put the calendar pages in the back and the rest of the pages in front. Then when you write the binder will be more effective and easier to use. The pages you want to use will be more evened out. Hope this helps. Chris Harris
Great video on use of bujo and GTD. I have also been using an "intake" notebook and found it very helpful. I think your daily plan with me video on how you use this system is a must-watch.
I'm glad I found your channel! I've enjoyed several of your videos and they have tremendously helped already. I've incorporated some concepts and re-organized my work planner specifically on how I track tasks, delegations, correspondence, and meeting notes. It's already working much better than my previous "system". (also in the process of planning for my personal 2019 BuJo which is going to be more fun than my work planner :) , so I plan on watching some of your other BuJo for personal planners. Also, I looked up GTD (Getting Things Done) and it two books away on my reading list :)
I always enjoy your videos. Have you tried the disc bound system? It would give you the option to move and insert pages and solve the issue of running out of pages. In a bound planner won’t you eventually reach the end? I’m currently using disc bound with Strange and Charmed planner inserts but I’m still trying to tweak my actual “system”. I’ve gotten some great tips watching your videos and am going to incorporate some into mine hoping that will bring me closer to planner peace if that even exists. LOL. I also love how functional your planner is. TFS and for taking the time to make your videos! Looking forward to your next one. :)
I have tried a disc bound system before. (It didn't get shown because it had already been disassembled and re-used for something else.) For me it has the same issues as the spiral-bound planners - the discs get in the way. I push a lot of paper around as part of my job, so if I pull out a page to write on it, it tends to get mixed in and lost in the shuffle. (And I'm not going to pull it out and put it back in every time I want to write on it. I'm lazy that way. 😉) Plus, when I finish a notebook, I get to get a new one! Yay! 😊
In your last video and this one you talked about the UA-cam changes and your goals. I don’t make videos so I am not sure how it works, but I want my channels I follow to succeed and continue. I usually download my videos with UA-cam Red. How does that affect you? Do you get credit for me watching the video? I’m not sure if my downloading is hurting you all. Thank you!
I’m pretty sure we get credit for UA-cam red views as well - there’s a special spot for them in our analytics. I think it’s more about how much of the video that you watch than whether it’s downloaded or not. (Knowing UA-cam, I’m sure they have some way of figuring it out. 😊) I have to reach a certain number of watch hours in the last 365 days to stay monetized, so every video watched helps. Thank you for asking! I hope you enjoy the videos as much as I enjoy making them.
A collab between Kendra Bork and Antonisha La’shay to look forward to? Life is good! If you could convince the hubs to make a guest appearance , I think it’s interesting to hear the differences and similarities between how partners track their events, tasks, and priorities. Another video that might be interesting is how your planning and prioritizing changed (if it did at all) when you became the boss rather than the employee. Oh, wait-I just thought of another one! 😀 As the boss, what advice would you give to one of your employees if they asked for your advice on how to manage their time at work-task management, prioritizing, etc.
Too bad, I would have seen more (e.g. categories or your way of making notes, appointments, handwriting). You could cover sensitive data with sticky notes.
I love your videos, and want to watch them all, but the focus is just a bit off on a bunch of them, which aggravates my migraines :( is there a way that you are able to autofocus, or verify throughout the video?
I did batch record several videos, and the focus was on the closed ring-bound planner. I'll be adjusting it in the future, but I was out of town for two weeks and didn't have time to re-do everything before I left. I'll definitely be checking in the future! (Plus, in the work planner, it incidentally blurred some of the information, which is probably for the best. I try not to include too much information, but the basic idea was the layout, and not what I was writing.) Thanks for the feedback! :)
I apologize. Hopefully you’ll see that I’ve corrected the issue in more recent videos. At the time, I was recording a large number of videos in a short amount of time to try and reach the new UA-cam requirements while I was going to be out of the country for two weeks. 😊 I believe I have one or two other videos where you might be able to see parts of the bullet journal a little more clearly (except for the parts I had to cover to protect information).
Yes. In January when they announced the changes, I didn’t have enough subscribers or watch time, and I was going to be out of the country for the last two weeks before the deadline. I prerecorded most of my videos for that time before I left.
This was so helpful. I know it is a few years old, but I’ve been searching for work bujo videos. This is the best I’ve watched so far. Thank you!

I feel your pain as a fellow left handed when using ring binded notebook

FYI: “Cahier” - pronounced “kah-yey” the French word for notebook. ;)
Loved this video. Thanks so much for sharing.
I always need help with the pronunciation for French words! Thank you! :)

*too soon, not today soon 😂
heheh..I like that title.. *Bare bones Bujo* 😎 👍

I have a video on 720p quality and can't see clearly. Is it just me or the camera on the video?
I think it may have been slightly out of focus, but the layout was more important than the words. 😊
Kendra Bork it’s bad for the eyes

Kendra Bork do you mean 4000 hours of watching time on UA-cam to monetize videos?
Yes. In January when they announced the changes, I didn’t have enough subscribers or watch time, and I was going to be out of the country for the last two weeks before the deadline. I prerecorded most of my videos for that time before I left.
