Congrats! I'd like to see you try a "Perfect Circle Mission" - pick a geographic object (lake, mountain, town, etc.), then circumnavigate it following as close to a perfect circle as possible.
Absolutely love source to sea videos. Always amazing to see the full course of a river, especially parts no on in their right mind bothers to traverse. Well done lads.
I feel like a bit of a loser coming here from Tom's channel, since you guys are so great and deserve to be discovered but your own, but hey, I can't help it. I admire your dedication, absolutely great entertainment! The production value is so high, really admirable. And please keep doing the drone shots, I do realize the final product is just a few seconds of footage for each shot, but I think it adds a lot to the overall impression. Keep the great uploads coming and I will certainly be another stable viewer!
For the ultimate river mission: Atlantic to Pacific - it CAN be done. There’s a weird river split somewhere in the northern Rockies (citation needed) that technically flows into the Pacific if you go right, or into the Mississippi basin if you go left downstream.
Hey Archie and Adam. In June i will be embarking on an epic adventure. I know it is a million dollar idea, so I dont want to give away to much. I dont really care about fences, borders or private property and love to adventure. I know my idea and video title can easily get a million views, but I lack the video editing skills to make a nice video. Maybe we can get in touch, because I'm sure you will agree my idea is gold
4:50 just because it's less track distance doesn't mean it's least effort or fastest downstream. staying near the current may get you further than fighting the current against the bank... *maybe*, idk. airlines definitely do this, sometimes they go 10%-20%-30% off of the shortest track because winds mean that going offtrack actually costs less fuel
You're right. In the bends, the strongest current is almost always on the outside. But sometimes it's negligible even there and it actually does make sense to take the shortest route.
Would be interesting to see if this could be attempted with the River Dee. There's a very large weir in Chester that might give a problem, but otherwise, it would be a very interesting journey I think
What would count as beating you?.faster time, unaided , on a paddle board (objectively worse vessel)? Honestly good job, look forward to seeing you guys outdo yourselves!
you should take some funnel tube things with you on these trips that are attached to your groins so u can pee straight into the river whilst still sitting and rowing
Weird looks from the people of Bridgewater?.... Thats because they don't understand what a boat is. I'm surprised any of them were out of bed that early though.
Damn guys, you came so close. I think if you'd have a zorb ball with you you could have done the weird that you deviated on. Top dedication and great videos though, nice one
Loved this forray away from strivht line missions. Reading the other comments makes me wonder 1. how many of the people who moan about your support crew would even be bothered to climb into a canoe? Let alone in sub zero conditions, ice, wading in and out of the water etc. Even with a support crew you still used tents 1 night!! You guys are rock solid adventurers. Thanks for posting a fun, interesting, wholesome video, a good mix of seriousness, sarcasm (banter with Ed to build raport, this worked to create a bond and friendship with GeoWizard, and is clearly in jest) its great seeing you attempt these wild tasks, thank you lads 😁
Well done, lads. If you want to grab some fresh McDonalds while still on the water, there is a restaurant in Hamburg, Germany, which has the only McBoat-drivethrough. :)
this series would of been more enjoyable to watch if you guys didnt have such a chip on your shoulder about that ed guy, you come off really salty for no reason
@@sowianskizonierz2693Depends on the river. It wasn't as entertaining as one of their straight line missions, I'll give you that, but good that they try to broaden their challenges.
ed leaving the water wasn't "pointless" he didnt have a team delivering him food and drink so had to go get water..........some parts are so good of this channel but others let it down like the constant digs at creators WHO CAME UP WITH THE IDEAS YOU ARE COPYING
Congrats fellas! Looking forward to seeing what you get up to next!
Ed you are the absolute best. Just getting through your unicycling series and it is the best stuff i have ever watched on youtube. Thanks!
Thanks for the inspiration Ed!
Ed was the team, support team, and videographer, and pack mule.
I feel bad for the hate on this guy
@@BAITED-MUSIC its not hate its banter
"the first hot food and drink we'd had in the last two hours"
the willpower to last that long is truly remarkable.
I'd say the lads put on weight with all the junk they were eating
That's a very Hobbit thing to say.

while making the biggest hyperlapse of the subject in the middle of the circle ✨

your support crew is above and beyond
“I might go for my pocket Scotch egg” - the most English sentence of all time
what about your pocket baked beans mate :)
Kudos to those Uber Eats drivers for letting them have the bags! Congrats boys 🎉
"Can we stroll down the middle of a road without losing sight of the pavement?"
_Looking like a right pair of Merchant Bankers there boys._
Always love your sense of adventure, thanks for sharing your journeys
Now do it the other way (:
That may be a bit of a bore.

Congratulations on this successful mission! I am so glad I found your channel through Geowizard's channel. I love this kind of content.
Check out Beau Miles. similar adventure type content.
The fibreglass kayak took its beating like a champ
What a brilliant adventure idea! Hope you do more of these!
Really enjoyed this. Looking forward to more adventures soon.
Well done, lads.

Well done lads. Great series. Keep up the adventures.
From a mud puddle to the sea. Congratulations guys.
Great content guys, GW and yourselves are killing it🙏
Well done lads! Great adventure!
Mike Horn would be proud.

Definitely not a fail guys Definitely a mad success that was wild.. well done 👏 🎉🎉. Have a beautifully blessed week ahead.
The quality/subscriber ratio on this channel is exceptionally high. Big things coming!
Didn't even realize they only had 21k subscribers. I really hope they get their breakthrough and be able to do this for a living.
Drone shots make these vids so good
Loved this series, would also have watched a longer edit of it as it felt a bit short, but I'm definitely looking forward to your future adventures
Awesome videos, loving the Chanel!!
Were back again. Get in!
This is quickly becoming one of my favourite channels.

Damn, you guys flxed on Ed!
Do the Thames next!
great stuff loved it lads.
Whats next, driving a toy jeep across the Moab dessert? Running the length of Africa? I love your take on these challenges 😂
Epic journey lads.
Great series, I hope to see a new adventure soon.
Very enjoyable and well done.
Would love to see you lot and Ed tackle a new river together :)
Well done guys🎉
If you don't know, the Swan quote was from Hot Fuzz.
Would be interesting to see if this could be attempted with the River Dee. There's a very large weir in Chester that might give a problem, but otherwise, it would be a very interesting journey I think
it would be so cool to see this done in a river with a damn, forcing you to rope down the wall of the dam, damn that would be sick.
watch your dam language
I’d love to see you guys paddle some river in northern Canada (just make sure to do it in summer)
if you apex the corners you take yourself out of the current. going upstream it makes sense but going down you want to stay in the flow.
Well done, chaps.
By the way, was the boat ramp where you left actually the one where Top Gear tried to drown the Toyota Hilux?
I just searched it and turns out it is! Good spot
Well played chaps.

communal crocs
i reckon its possible to navigate across england east west via waterways
Love the video, could you tell me the name of the music used?
This channel has all the staff and skillsets to run the entire length of africa, just saying
Good stuff.
Do the severn river next
Next you should unicycle around the world but do it quicker than ed
Now do it for all the streams that flow into that river ;P
You should probably get a sponsorship from McDonald's at this point ;)
In all seriousness; great effort lads!
Next challenge, the severn?
Well done, lads.
If you want to grab some fresh McDonalds while still on the water, there is a restaurant in Hamburg, Germany, which has the only McBoat-drivethrough. :)
You should put part numbers in the title :)
Down stream is easy. I went back up river.
13 seconds ago uploaded let's goooo
Let’s goo
Well done lads! Full marks for everything except spelling: Burnham-on-Sea clearly ends in sea, not begins...
😂
Y'all don't go out in ur boats often do ya?... Y'all need to come to the USA and do it again down some back country creeks and rivers.... 🙂👍

Don't start
Jobs a good'un
These guys need some Max Fosh "Posh Tw@" merchandise.
Knob
had McDonald's and it gived me a viral infection in the stomach never been in so much pain thankfully the hospital helped get me better
Would love to see less of the support team in the future... challenge yourselves a bit 😊
Are these guys incapable of doing anything original?
I predict them using a unicycle soon.
how boring these adventures would be if no one else attempted them. Originality is not needed to be interresting.
