    Also go check out Franky's video here: • Twice Made, Once Forgo...
    In this video, I made a miniature Dwarfen Outpost Diorama, suspended on the side of a cliff, overlooking.... the fissure. I used XPS foam, plaster, 3D printed parts on my resin and FDM printers. Sadly no epoxy resin art for this one, but maybe the next build!

    For a while now I've been toying with the idea of switching my D&D games to a 15mm or 10mm scale. Seeing this and your city build is making that case even more compelling.

    I used to breed geckos a while back and as I love a natural look to their enclosures, I made my own backdrops. I used the same techniques used here: A foam base with a mixture of joint compound and a thinning agent. It's very cool to see that same technique here!

    5:55 that mix looks really easy to work with and excelente results!! does it sticks to carboard¿
    Would anyone explain me what is and how to make it¿¿ I speak spanish and just a little bit of English i learned from movies so i did not understand exactly what he said about that mix.
    Im making an sort of ancient LED tree and wanna place it over a rocky hill,but I have no idea what material to use to cover the cardboard

    • @KnarbMakes
      @KnarbMakes  2 роки тому

      Yeah it will stick to cardboard well. It's about 1 part plaster mix, 1 part water, 1 part celulose insulation and some black gesso mostly for the black paint as well as the acrylic binder in it.
