I've come to realize bass fishing is a litany of " well what the hell was I doing before this". I look back a year ago and think, I can't believe I was throwing that or using that as a combo. Now here you go dropping another bomb on me. Always learning always appreciative of TRF!🎣
Man! they say there's 3 things you don't know. what you don't know, the things you know you don't know, and the things you don't know you don't know.... your vids have taught me a lot of the I didn't know I didn't know... thanks! I've caught more this year than I ever have... by a LOT!
I learned sssooo much from this video, and I'm going to put it into practice here in Maryland. I'm guessing some of the bass have already spawned, but I have the entire summer!!!
Great video Tyler. One of my favorite things about your channel (other than a truck load of great info) is the joy level you bring to the observer. Always joyful is good. Love the channel.
Also just want to say you have AWESOME intros! You put so much into your videos and it shows and you deserve so many more subscribers for the production value and work you put in.
Pearl white on a dark green pumpkin works great. I colored the hook an around the hook with a red sharpie. Then I sprayed my jig an trailer with proline creyfish fish attractant an a bass smashed my swim jig.
Using Strike King Pearl Paddle Trailers on Sexy Shad Chatter Baits in Semi Clear water in Western Nebraska works Great!!! Also use Zako Swim Baits too with Chatter Baits!
It's good to trim skirts just below hook so skirt on jig flares out to present jig trailer. You trim jig skirts in warmer weather. During the winter you trim skirt no more than an 1/8 inch of skirt so skirt on jig slowly flares out slow because bass aren't as aggressive in the winter
I found some swimbaits at a local fishing event with rattles in the tail of the bait. I’m wondering what your opinion would be on sacrificing action for audio on a swim jig.
Hey Tyler really enjoyed the video and will be trying more jigs now my only question is I live in Florida so a lot of my bottom is dead vegetation or Snodgrass would you still hop a jig off the bottom the second question is on my swim cheeks would you rig a swim bait or a crawl imitator on the back thanks and tight lines👊
Hey, I have been loving the content i am just starting bass fishing, I am bank fishing ponds right now, (just what I have access to). I have been watching a ton of your videos I really love your how to videos, they are helping me learn a lot and build out my tackle. Would you think about doing a budget fishing challenge? Like buying a rod, reel, line, lures, and tackle all under a certain price and seeing what you can do with it.
I've been fishing most my life and I'm 48 and I've learned and continue to learn a lot from watching this channel I try to watch every one of his videos
Please read entire comment. Thanks again for these videos. I have noticed you are always alone. Would love to see a collaboration with someone. Suggestions are Lojo, Ayo, and Fishing with Norm. Thanks. I learn so much from you
Tyler I fish from banks on rivers lakes and ponds I brought zman chaterbaits and lures I lost 13 chaterbaits and lures and did not catch not one fish only sunburn in 2weeks
Will "HIM" be making more appearances in your videos? Love It!! As always - great information and instruction Tyler. Subscribe and Like - Tyler is an awesome guy and his videos are some of the best instructionals out there. Thanks again Tyler.
I don’t know why but for some reason putting on a soft plastic properly is like the hardest part of fishing for me guess cause I grew up using pretty much nothing but hard baits and never used them till the last couple years

I love your videos Tyler! Wish I would’ve found you years ago!
Awesome video!! Lol, loved it. What's the best style for skipping? You want an arky style jig?
a lot of jigs can work, you just need one that has a flat head
Arky or just flat ish. Will have an updated skipping masterclass video come out this summer
@@TylersReelFishing awesome, thank you 👊
Please make a video in how to skip your baits. It’s a instant back lash for me
Thanks for another great video. Your last last video on "The Last Video you ever need for Ji " helped me land.. a pike :)

Thank you, Tyler!

First question: No, weightless worm or topwater. Any jig would have to be swim
or vibe. For your 2nd question: I answer that in the video
So I bought some of the yammamoto zakos and I planned on using them on the chatterbait and the swimjig so should I only use them on a swimbaitrig???
I would keep those on the chatter bait for sure
Your channel rocks.
Thanks!
Can we give him $?
Great video!!
Hopefully you'll find time to fish NW Georgia waters. Georgians would like to hear you're experiences in our waters.
