I've been using my Necro like this: 1. Enter room full of enemies and trigger Blood Mist. Lays down corpses and I'm impervious upon entering. 2. Immediately trigger corpse tendrils to pull everyone together into a tight group. 3. Launch bone prison around the group. 4. Trigger corpse explosion over and over again while I launch my bone storm. 5. Keep an eye on my blood mist cooldown and re-trigger when available to remain impervious. 6. Rinse and repeat.
Really didn’t understand how you do this damage on Uber Lilith,have same items,lucky hit is 47% without barier and 67% with, 31% crit chance and 240% crit damage,all paragon all aspects same,lvl 85, my max crit is 24million…Barbier is 3.8sec and 14% dmg.Have also 2sec barber but he do less damage.What is trick for this damage?
He's lying, 1. It's patched the interaction of barber and minions its a fact, a FACT. 2. HE DOSNT HAVE TIME STAMPS ON THE VIDEO. ITS OBVIOUSLY MADE PRE NERF. 3. He still uploaded for views . Dudes a sellout for views

I’m running a blight spam minion build that is doing pretty good. Minions: -Mana Ice Mages. -Corpse Reapers. -Attack Speed Golem Sacrifice Aspects: -Umbra Aspect Ring (+4 Mana/CC effect) -Aspect that sucks enemies into blight (Counts as CC) -Howl from below Gloves -Ring of Mendel Affixes: -Attack Speed -Mana Cost Reduction -Crit Chance (For Barber) -Lucky Hit: Regen X Health (Gives you the Survivability of a Blood-Lance Build) Combat Loop: You basically just spam blight on something & auto-cast corpse tendrils soon as you get a freebie. Everything gets pulled into 10+ pools of blight & you keep spamming until everything is dead. It’s simple… but effective. On high-speed runs, I actually swap out Blighted Corpses for the regular ones & swap in Black River. I spam blight just enough to generate corpses & build up my damage buffs… then I just blow up everything on screen.
Thanks man. I'm level 88 and have tried a few builds but still felt like I was lvl 50. My damage was always piss poor, and I was feeling disheartened with my necro. Even though my gear is still only bout 50% done and I still have to find 1 aspect, I am already seeing a massive difference with your build and looking forward to jumping into the game again to find the rest of the gear.😎
The video does not correlate to the build guide you have linked in the description. In it you have 2 missing points in the Skill tree and 39 points missing in the Paragon board. Is there a reason for this? Because in the video version you have 0 points to add to the skill tree and the paragon board.
I was really excited for this build, you had me all hyped up till I saw Bone Prison... I HATE bone prison because it's exceptionally hard to target with a controller, which I use. Plus seems like the Bone Prison thing is a glitch with lucky hit and could get fixed. So great idea, love your content, but I'm looking more for something closer to a fast paced minion build that can handle up to tier 100 as well as uber lilith, until then I'll keep farming with Bone Spear build. But thank you for the options!
To be honest though, it doesn’t matter who the prison lands on, as long as it does! Every minion attack after will explode just keep using it on randoms! Sure you won’t have that 15% boost on the one guy but still works

in the video you use amplify for you first glyph but on your builder you have corporeal. curious if you changed it or is it still amplify? thanks for the video learned a lot
So similar to how the Druid electric wolf need the helmet. Minions need mendeln to be a s tier build in endgame. I can craft other builds but it I will not be close to the same! I can see what I can do though

I do have a question on the Paragon board why wouldn't you use Control in the starter board for overwhelming damage to crowd-controlled enemies and minion damage buff? I'm only lvl64 and sit at 34.8% damage increase from that sigil. Thanks in advance!

There's a thing I don't understand yet, barber heart is better with more seconds? Cuase I have 1 with 2.2 sec and other with 3.8 sec, which one should use?
question, why so much minion life on gear? for T100 runs i dont see how they benifit from having 150 - 200% life because the deaths defense skill is going to be capped if they have 5k life or 15k life i also only saw 1 or 2 crit lines and same for crt dmg are they not important?
i mean even in those dungys I was one shotting everything so I was more focused on reducing the amount of focus my minions needed healing on. You can def slot in more damage. although half a bil is likely enough

Just out of curiosity, how could the build be modified to squeeze Lidless Wall in? I realize that one fewer sacrifice decreases the chance of and number of bone storms, but still seems like a nice way to add extra barrier generation. Excellent video and straight to the point which was very appreciated!
After playing around with it more, the Lidless Wall wasn’t really working. Storms have a chance to spawn when you hit enemies outside of Bone Storm, which works better with ranged builds. I switched things to put a focus back in, but using Howl from Below and Ring of Mendeln. Helm: Viscous Chest: Disobedience Howl from Below Legs: Shielding Storm Boots: Blood Getter’s Wand: Decay Focus: Blighted Amulet: Grasping Veins Ring of Mendeln Ring2: Ultimate Shadow
These builds are fun but always require a damn Unique that just doesnt drop. I have multiple copies of many other Necro uniques but I cannot for the life of me get that ring :(

@@LDFades a dagger or one handed sword will also work well due to having the same higher attack speed as well as a better intrinsic affix for a wider variety of builds (wand= 15% lucky hit, dagger= +30% close dmg, sword= +11% crit dmg) lucky hit is better for more spesific endgame builds like this one as the crux of dmg ring of mendelm is reliant on lucky hit, whereas something like bone spear or sever would benefit more from crit dmg or close dmg

I tried golem but taking it off. It’s fun the bone golem with shedding a corpse but u either drop ce or bone storm for it. When I ran it from 82-94 I took off bone storm. Mind u don’t have min max gear but manage to clear up to tier 70 solo nightmare solo.

The reason your damage numbers are so high is because you have the worst roll on your barber. 4 sec is bad compared to 2. My 2 sec barber is exploding multiplying damage twice before yours does it once..10:05 Sure a 4 second barber heart will produce a higher number upon explosion, but a 2 second barber heart will put out almost twice the damage in that time with quicker burst to single and aoe targets. Sigh. Even how it’s written [4.0-2.0] implies 2.0 is the best roll? Correct me if I’m wrong by all means.
Hey guys I know I'm late to this comment section...since that your comments was from 5/3 days ago. Is there by any chance that they patched this ? Some people are saying that it's patched ? so I'm not quite sure if I want to try this build out, since it can cost a lot of resources in terms of gold and mats. I just need someone to confirm if it's still working?
30% damage increase is way more impactful especially on a build that fully can stand still. Bone storm is nearly always off cooldown in large groups of enemy's anyway. Can be a pretty redundant aspect IMO
At any point would you consider Black River or Howl from Below useful to work into this build? I would hate to not use them if I have them. Just wondering.
Thanks for the video. I learned some stuff but how could we adapt this build for eternal as we need to have decrepify slotted. I have a similair build but without blood mist. I can generally do 60-70s nightmares but its slow sometimes with mobs one shotting me.

3:25 "Skeletal Mage Damage & Skeletal Warrior Damage doesn't really matter too much...as there's no real viable way to do insane damage without using ring of mendeln". Pretty much sums up the necro minion summoner issue in this game. Anytime I see "Necro Minion Build" in the title, it automatically means the minions ain't your source of damage & they just happen to be there as a source of small dot damage. Blizzard is OK with builds that can kill end bosses in a couple seconds, but God forbid we have a pure necromancer summoner in this game.
yeah they said they are struggling to find a way to balance them without mendeln. But much like lightning wolf, necro minions require a unique. is what it is, but I feel your pain!
Im still leveling, lvl 50 now. I switched from bone spear few levels ago to try this build. I think i have most of the aspects (except Mendeln), but the damage right now seems low. Or rather, the mob clear is slow, bosses die pretty quickly. Does this build need paragon points to really ramp up? I dont know if I'd ve able to farm tier 3 effctive enough to get the mendeln.
Not sure why but in every video I watch in the paragon tree the area around the aspect is bigger than I have I can never fulfill the aspect. Did I do something wrong?
its crazy you're running a 4 second barber heart instead of something closer to 2 seconds... all damage is gone and going into barber while it is active. so less time would be more consistent numbers and also equate to more survivabilty. instead of waiting for dps to happen amd getting hit during that 4 second timer. having 4 seconds = more time spent taking damage.
The only problem I have with this build is that the damage is not really from the pets. Don't get me wrong, great build, perfectly legit, just in my opinion, not a true minion build.
i got your build 100% what am i doing wrong, cause lilith still beating me and im only taking 1% health off her, have i got to decrepify the area, then bone prison? i put prison down, i explode away, on usual bosses they die in 1-2 second NMD tier 60, lilith just laughing at me with this build. followed it 100!

@@iRunShibb please dont think im disrespecting your build, Honest Im doing huge damage to enemies in dungeons, but this woman ....im barely doing anything to her and i dont get why, so get this, in a dungeon, i drop a prison on a bunch of elites, and its all yellow numbers 500,000 some cases....i drop a prison on her straight away, start exploding and my minions hitting her...and i do about 1% damage to her... as i say in dungeons im doing huge damage...but its not touching her for me and i dont know why. I farmed for 40 hours roughly to get all your gear, and i got it all eventually, some of my affixes are a few % lower than yours but only by a little bit, my ring is 14,987 damage, i dont get why im doing no damage to her!!!

I mixed my build up howls from below due to the fact that corpses chase so it helps clear waves while bursting blood 7 mil damage

Wish I could gift my leftover Howl from below’s. I’ve had all necro uniques drop around lvl 75-85 except Deathspeakers pendant.

usually the lower 2.2 sec, it procs faster so you don't have to wait longer for it to trigger

Yeah swap the shield but you’ll have to remove barrier damage or stationary damage which hurts!
Dont work with lidles. Not so much storms
I also wish to use lidless, my ideal build would use the howl gloves lidless and mend ring but idk how to make all that work lol

I think the extra aspect is 100% worth from focus cuz it counts as a wep aspect. Very strong imo

The 2s one is better for everything else, but Lilith is so much easier for me with the 4s one. Try it out.

@@gjippsy8419 No. I just killed Uber Lilith yesterday. One shotted her phase 1 etc. It definitely still works.
Why would you want damage while standing vs 10 sec of bone storm with its extra barrier and crit chance?
30% damage increase is way more impactful especially on a build that fully can stand still. Bone storm is nearly always off cooldown in large groups of enemy's anyway. Can be a pretty redundant aspect IMO

how do you deal with dungeons when your minions get burst down or vs the butcher? No minions = no mendeln procs = quick deaths

With this build what would a skill bar look like if you play on eternal realm without the hearts and auto-decrepify etc.??

Thanks for the video. I learned some stuff but how could we adapt this build for eternal as we need to have decrepify slotted. I have a similair build but without blood mist. I can generally do 60-70s nightmares but its slow sometimes with mobs one shotting me.
I used it in eternal last season. replace corpse explosion because the boots with mist do that for you. It generates and explodes corpses on use.

Pretty much sums up the necro minion summoner issue in this game.
Anytime I see "Necro Minion Build" in the title, it automatically means the minions ain't your source of damage & they just happen to be there as a source of small dot damage.
Blizzard is OK with builds that can kill end bosses in a couple seconds, but God forbid we have a pure necromancer summoner in this game.
yeah they said they are struggling to find a way to balance them without mendeln. But much like lightning wolf, necro minions require a unique. is what it is, but I feel your pain!
do you have this build for early lvls?
Im still leveling, lvl 50 now. I switched from bone spear few levels ago to try this build. I think i have most of the aspects (except Mendeln), but the damage right now seems low. Or rather, the mob clear is slow, bosses die pretty quickly. Does this build need paragon points to really ramp up? I dont know if I'd ve able to farm tier 3 effctive enough to get the mendeln.
It needs mendeln is why. Pretty much how the build works

Ring of Mendeln is essential for high tier runs. But the build will work without it before t50ish as long as you have a Barber

Not sure why but in every video I watch in the paragon tree the area around the aspect is bigger than I have I can never fulfill the aspect. Did I do something wrong?

its crazy you're running a 4 second barber heart instead of something closer to 2 seconds... all damage is gone and going into barber while it is active. so less time would be more consistent numbers and also equate to more survivabilty. instead of waiting for dps to happen amd getting hit during that 4 second timer. having 4 seconds = more time spent taking damage.
He's running a 4 sec barber also for uber lilith because is the best for this kind of build with minions but for dungeons 2 sec is better.
The only problem I have with this build is that the damage is not really from the pets. Don't get me wrong, great build, perfectly legit, just in my opinion, not a true minion build.
Yeah unfortunately they just don’t work without it. Like lightning Druid without the helm. Just requires 1 unique

def not coming for a while at least. They said they are struggling to balance minions outside of prison. There is no way to keep them viable without.
Is this build good for nms or is it mostly a Lilith build?
I have tried this build and would say it is best on UL as it's to slow to set up. Bonespear with Lidless for NM dungeons.
I using golem instead of explosion makes it awesome for nightmares. I talk about that a bit!
Explosion give you every tick chance for lucky hit.

i got your build 100% what am i doing wrong, cause lilith still beating me and im only taking 1% health off her, have i got to decrepify the area, then bone prison? i put prison down, i explode away, on usual bosses they die in 1-2 second NMD tier 60, lilith just laughing at me with this build. followed it 100!
actually, fuck it, im done with this game, 900 hrs+ 3 different classes and neither 1 of them can dent her, IM OUT!

@@iRunShibb please dont think im disrespecting your build, Honest Im doing huge damage to enemies in dungeons, but this woman ....im barely doing anything to her and i dont get why, so get this, in a dungeon, i drop a prison on a bunch of elites, and its all yellow numbers 500,000 some cases....i drop a prison on her straight away, start exploding and my minions hitting her...and i do about 1% damage to her... as i say in dungeons im doing huge damage...but its not touching her for me and i dont know why. I farmed for 40 hours roughly to get all your gear, and i got it all eventually, some of my affixes are a few % lower than yours but only by a little bit, my ring is 14,987 damage, i dont get why im doing no damage to her!!!

if youre struggling you can slot more def in, but yes drop corpse explo, lead with golem taunt then prison and let them all explode rinse and repeat

I try it out only because of Lilith, bone Speer is much better and fun for dungeons and open world, melting bosses accept for the biatch.
