Thanks I feel like its the best way to show in the real works what the light does and how its competitors try and get a similar result. There can be so much difference when you look side by side.
That beam does look great. When I first looked at the beamshots I thought Sofirn SC31 Pro looked the best. I'm after a good amount of flood, but also some punch, so I can spot things a bit further if needed. But when I looked closer the Wurkkos was auctally punching further, and didn't have the defined hot spot. An OP reflector is perfect for what I use a small handheald light for. I have other Wurkkos lights, and I've been caught out quite a few times already, by having a cable that just dosen't fit in them, which is a shame because its such a small detail, but if you can't charge the thing its pretty useless
I was similar it was'nt until the side by side where I realised how nice the beam in, when i noticed that i wondered if people might think i was altering things to make it look good but i have not and I'm glad i take the extra time to fully test these lights to discover these things. I know il get people complaining that I mention the cable issue, ive had it before. But I think if I dont then ive seriously let down a potential buyer who may get caught out on this.
I dont see the USB-C connector as much of an issue. That is just my personal opinion, though. If I am going to be hiking trails or walking at night for any extended period if time, I carry a small shoulder bag on my person that will typically have an extra battery or two for my main light, which makes it unlikely to need a charger, a power bank with a usb-c to usb-c cable and a usb-c to lightning cable for my iPhone, at least a couple bandaids, ibuprofen, a multi tool, and a couple other things depending on what I am doing. That is why I like flashlights that one can swap a battery on. My EDC light is a Olight Arkfeld Pro for use when at work or just out and about. The FC13S is an awesome light, though. Just got mine today.
Will you do a review on any of these headlamps? LUMONITE Compass, 1250 lm (2023) version 7. Armytek Wizard C2 Pro Max, 4000 lm. Armytek Wizard C2 Pro, 2500 lm. ARMYTEK WIZARD C2 PRO NICHIA, 1600 lm.
1 I will ask Lumonite if they have any new kits that needs looking at so I may cover the new Compass depending on what they say. 2 Armytek never reply to me but i certainly do want to upgrade my Armytek wizard pro v3 now the new C2 pro lights are out, if they ever have their 40% off sale il try and get one as they never reply to me. Armytek and Olight may only reply to certain 'types' of channels I suspect.
Here's the breakdown of the key differences between the Wurkkos FC13 and FC13s: User Interface (UI): FC13: Advanced Anduril 2 UI with multiple modes (simple and advanced) for customizing brightness levels, strobe, and other functions. FC13s: Simpler UI with just a single button for basic on/off, brightness ramping (although some users report difficulty accessing all modes). Price: FC13: Slightly more expensive (typically $10-15 more). FC13s: More budget-friendly option. Other Features: FC13: Might have a backlit switch depending on the version. FC13s: No backlit switch. In summary: FC13: Offers greater flexibility and customization with the Anduril UI, good for flashlight enthusiasts who want more control. FC13s: Simpler to use, better for those who just need a basic flashlight and prefer a lower price point. That should cover it all for you mate.
@@TrailTrekExcellent and concise explanation of the differences between the two versions. 🔦👍🏼 I haven't seen a teardown of the FC13s before. If its innards are similar to the Anduril UI FC13 then the cost of manufacturing would be similar too. Unless of course, if Wurkkos has to pay for the license to the Anduril developers for every FC13 that they sell. 🤔 I own two FC13 myself, one with the SFT40 in cool tint and the other with the XHP50B in warmer CCT. Wurrkos has to price the FC13s lower for these simple reasons: - People who want Anduril 2 are generally willing to pay extra. - People who don't care about Anduril are likely to buy the FC13s due to its lower price. I haven't seen an FC13s with the throwy SFT40 though. The shallow reflector of the FC13, as opposed to the deeper reflector of the FC12, makes the beam wider, therefore the XHP50B's floody nature is more suitable for the FC13s. 😊

I love your reviews and how you compare side by side with 5 other flashlights!

I just bought two for friends who need the simple UI. I treated myself to a FC13. ( I love the Andruil 2 UI). Great review, Thank You Brother. :)
That's excellent news, and because its Wurkkos the price isn't silly. I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of this light.
Excellent video. I’ve been shopping for a warmer temperature light. I’m going to give the Wurkkos FC13S a try.
👍 Thanks 👍. You will get a lot from this light for a good price. Enjoy 😃
Good light the heat dissipation is what does it for me because my fc11 gets very hot
It is pretty good, it feels like a happy level between output and not having a red hot banding iron in your hands on turbo :-)
How did I miss this video? I am very fond of all Wurkkos tube lights.
They go on sale for $20 WITH the battery and act as a power bank too. Really hard to beat that price, and they are quite bright for what they are.

It would be PERFECT ERC for me if it had a magnetic tailcap.
