A nice detail a lot a people miss about this fight is Lucifer's timing. Lucifer made a contract with Adam that so long as Adam didn't harm a hellborn demon he wouldn't interfere with the extermination so that Charlie would be safe. From that point, Lucifer was UNABLE to fight the exorcists. The second Adam killed Charlie's bodyguards, the goats, and attacked her Lucifer was free to act and he INSTANTLY flew to her side curbed stomped Adam.
This is speculation, we don't know for sure that this was the deal. It is a popular theory and evidence does seem to support it, but remains a theory for now.
It's not speculation though. Lute literally told Charlie in the VERY FIRST EPISODE "Daddy gave you and your hellborn kind a pardon from the Exorcists blade.". Lucifer only interfered now because Adam directly stated he was going to kill Charlie (hense the mask glitching out, signaling he broke his end of the deal).
@@DarthDragon007 It's a good theory, and it may be true. But other than an offhand comment that does not give us the full details of the deal, we have no specific proof that that is the case. Until we are given the full details of the deal in question, it remains a theory.
Also, some people say that the glitch effect in both, Lute's and Adam's masks might be from the times the deal is broken, Lute's seems to be glitched when Razzle/Dazzle dies from bleeding out, while Adam's glitches when he tells Charlie that it's time to die Just a theory tho
🎵Now here is a riddle to guess if you can Sing the Heaven Clouds Who is the Sinner and who is the Winner? Sing the clouds, clouds, clouds, clouds, clouds, clouds, clouds HEAVEN CLOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDS!!! 🎶
Well, he acted selflessly by sacrificing himself, he never stole and even bought things for other people with his own money, and he tried to stick it to the First Man
@@Moonsfire62 I keep seeing this thought and my thought is looking at her face is "Oh no not again" I'm wondering if this happened before. Lucifer said he had tried what charlie was doing himself, What if like now it had worked then but Being locked into hell Lucifer had no way of knowing, and the exterminations were an attempt keep the redeemed out. They were up rising, rising up from hell and had to be stopped because you couldn't let those sort in
I always love Val's face when he sees Nifty hop on Adam and just shank his ass. You KNOW he's remembering the club, and how easy and fast she got on his back.
I love that Pentious' kiss and sacrifice was, apparently, enough to convince Cherri that the Hotel was worth it, sice she stays after that and even helps rebuild
He checked everything on Adams list. Sacrifice (selfless), he gave Alastor his coat piece back (not stealing) and he stood up against Adam when he lost his life (stuck it to the man).
I like to think she stuck around because even though she still undoubtedly thinks Charlie's a goody-two-shoes, her sticking up for Hell and being willing to fight the Exorcists with the rest of them means Cherri at least respects her now. Sort of a "I still think that redemption junk's all nonsense, but you stuck to it and took on a fight most people would run from for it, I guess you're alright" sort of thing. They may not have much in common, but Cherri does seem like the kind of person who'd respect someone putting themselves at risk for their convictions--and someone putting themselves in danger for your sake without asking for any kind of compensation *in Hell* is probably rare enough on its own. So, helping get the hotel rebuilt out of respect wouldn't be too far fetched, imo. I think Pentious definitely won points with her, but depending on how sentimental Cherri is, I could see an argument for her more or less moving on from him getting exterminated (since we don't know if anyone but Sera & Emily know otherwise) just as much as her sticking around to help out because of it.
It's a bit presumptuous to say God is the one who beamed him. We don't even know if there actually is a character that represents God or godlike being in this universe. After all, Sera seems to be the highest authority in Heaven as far as we know.
I think the reason Adam was so strong is because he was one of the first humans. He was made from the raw material that angels used to craft him and Lilith. so they are quite literally BUILT DIFFERENT than other souls.
Because adam wasnt allowed to fight hellborns, lucifer wasnt allowed to interfear with the purge But since adam attacked charlie, lucifer was allowed to defend her
This is speculation, we don't know for sure that this was the deal. It is a popular theory and evidence does seem to support it, but remains a theory for now.
@@Outrider85Bro you keep saying that despite them saying it episode 1. Lute wasn't just saying that. She is a religious zealot cultist who is so deep in her delusion and devotion to Adam that she told Charlie, "The only reason you are alive is because Daddy pardoned you and your hellborn kind from an exorcist blade. How does that feel? To know how LITTLE you matter." She wasn't just trying to shut down Charlie but she wanted to destroy her confidence for even "daring" to insinuate sinners were the same as heavenly souls. She is the kind of person who saw Vaggie offering MERCY to a sinner and immediately ripping out her eye as punishment. Taking "eye for an eye" so to speak. Even Adam says that in his song "Hell is Forever". She even rips out Vaggie's wings as she tells her she has no place in heaven despite offering mercy being something angels SHOULD do. Lute was even so extreme that Adam told her to chill out when she said to, "Rip Vaggie's c×nt mouth out her a$$!" Even making the gesture. She revels in the pain and torment she brings others. You could even see it in her lines in "You Didn't Know". So yes. When Lute says that they are only spared because they made a DEAL with Lucifer? I BELIEVE WHAT THE SHOW SAYS. Its pointless to argue with canon evidence. Do you honestly believe that Lucifer wouldn't have been there from the start if he could interfere?? Its his DAUGHTER. The one he loves "More Than Anything". Realistically in a storyboarding sense Lucifer's OP powers wouldn't have made the battle exciting and would've cut a lot of important character moments. So, yes, when the show tells me he made a deal with them to keep Charlie and other hellborn's safe? I BELIEVE IT. Its silly to think we know more than the writers who put the line there on PURPOSE. I mean really? In a series where soul contract deals are SUPER important and constantly brought up you want to say to ignore it?? Why? By your logic we should ignore that Alastor and Lilith were gone for "7 years" just because the characters said it so it doesn't mean anything?? We can't cherry pick the info we want. That's a super biased take and isn't how you should do ANY research/theory crafting. We don't get to pick and choose the info we want to believe unless the creator themselves comes out to retcon it.
mammon's the clown But I like the Idea of charlie taking the mantle of Parade Marshel like in her song at Rosies Its not exactly in the circus theme of hell but its adjacent
When Alastor says "once I figure out how to unclip my Wings" he was referring to being able to fly free from the strain's of his deal, and not actually referring to real Wings
My favorite detail in this episode is that they used Alastor vs Adam to demonstrate what Carmilla meant by angels fighting in a sloppy way. In terms of pure power Alastor is nowhere near Adam but was able to put up a fight by being smarter and finessing around him. Alastor lost the moment he got cocky and tried to take Adam’s attack head on.
Alastor does own Niffty’s soul, and, if we look back to the pilot (which is taken as loose canon) you can see hers and Husk’s outlines when Vaggie talks about Alastor “toppling overlords”. Niffty might very well be a previous Overlord. I really hope so. It would be hilarious, and explain why he wanted the soul of a tiny gremlin
That is all fine with Charlie by the way. Episode 1, Husk literally says he is staying at the Hotel because Alastor forces him to. Does not matter to Charlie - she needs a bartender, so he stays.
@@richardkutsera4992im sure if Charlie had the ability to interfere with demon contracts that she would’ve helped Angel out by now. She probably has no way to break Husk and Al’s contract either. Idk just a thought. She doesnt seem like the person to do nothing if there was some way she could help.
@@Y13-t2b she cannot do anything about the angels being a-holes either yet she tries so hard to change their mind. She could have at least tried talking with the two them. Asking Husk if he really does not want to stay, then if he says so, ask Alastor to allow him to leave...which I guess, not enough screentime to include such conversations. Could have happened offscreen, Husk saying he will be fine after all...for a headcanon. But she should have had such talks with her Hotel's staff/guests.
in regards to alastor, id like to remind you of what happened when he threatened husk husk said "big talk for someone whos also on a leash." alastor has made a deal with a demon stronger than him with unknown conditions, and it likely happened either during or before the time he disappeared for 7 years
Snakes have a hemipenis which is essentially two (thus Angel's commment). Ser Pentious got into heaven because the stood up to THE man, just like Adam said. As for Alastor they've alluded to it a few times. He disappeared for 7 years so probably was injured and made a deal to live. But recall during the Lucifer reveal episode he gets mad at Husk for mentioning he also is wearing chains.
A popular theory is that Alastor has a deal with either Lilith or Eve and it’s the reason he’s “volunteered” at the hotel. My little theory is that he made a deal while alive which is why he was so powerful upon arriving in hell, and whoever he made the deal with commanded him to help Charlie.
I agree. I think it probably went something like… Lilith: “I will let you keep your power, but in exchange you are now bound to my daughter and must to the best of your ability, fulfill her every whim. Regardless of how stupid it may seem. You are to be her protector, her guide, her catalyst for realizing her dream… whatever that is. You are to make sure she succeeds”
The only problem there would be the fact Alastor also disappeared for 7 years. If he was intended to help wouldn't he be by her side? My personal theory (even though it goes against the lore built): Alastor is actually the sin of pride. He got bored of the mundane nature of that job and changed his appearance to escape. We have seen other sins change their looks in helluva boss so i dont think its a stretch. Alastors disappeared because he still has responsibilities as one of the seven sins and only came back because his (and i quote the pilot) "work became mundane and was lacking focus". Sounds like an odd statement for someone who had disappeared does it not?
@@dominickbenincasa5043 Lilith is a deadbeat mom she doesn't care about her daughter otherwise why she would try to sabotage her relationship her father and abandon them to be slaughtered by adam
I think his contract is with Lilith, but it is not to his advantage at all. It was actually done seven years ago in order to stop his rampage through Hell and destruction of the other Overlords and usurping their power. Lilith being, until then, the being effectively in charge of all of Hell (cf Episode 1), especially as Lucifer had withdrawn from everything.
And i will say now because i know someone is going to try correcting me. I do know that lucifer is considered the sin of pride but to me that seems to convenient for the final answer
It didn't occur to me until about a day ago that Lilith might actually be exiled in heaven. She's completely alone on that beach. She was the leader of the demon uprising attempt. Maybe in exchange for not destroying all of hell, she gave up her freedom. If anyone would be stupid and arrogant enough to think a prisoner would actually want to stay in a gilded cage, it would be Lute -.-
Would that make sense for the timeline? Because she's been gone for seven years - roughly same as Alistor - and I don't think the show's established any uprisings that took place this recently.
@@Mirhaus Maybe she figured out something really important at that time, something that could actually turn the tides, so they did that to her? Then because she knew they were gonna imprison her soon, she made/forced a deal with Alastor?
I have a theory that I made When Heaven kicked lilith to hell she might have been very angry and wanted revenge and empowered deamon kind to fight with heaven but that plan failed due to extermination. So she made a new plan and made a deal with Adam to stay in heaven (Adam didn't know her TRUE intention). And the plan was to make her daughter to do her bidding . She might have done some calculation and made Charlie to dream about improving hell. After filling her that thought she went to heaven and before leaving she made a deal with alastor to look after Charlie and make sure that things go the way she planned. If it is TRUE her plan succeed a little beat killing someone strong one as Adam is big feat and might become a reason for war . If war happens Charlie have to battle heaven to save her people and lucifer will help her to save her . This also explains why alastor risked his life to battle Adam even after getting actually got what he wanted because he was forced to do . That's why he was trying to escape the deal because he doesn't want to risk his life. It is just a theory , reply if you find a mistake or believe in this theory pls reply

@@Mattablesi notice you miss a detail in ep7 where alastor reveal he is on a leash. Its the part where husk was talking to him. So when he say constraint of his deal mean the deal he made with certain someone is keeping him from doing something.
@@Mattables"More than anything" Lover Couple duet was breaking my heart. Razzle and Dazzle are like Keyky they are toys Lucifer bring to life. Angels has broken the deal with Lucifer they kill Hellborn Dazzle. That s reason w Lucifer has shows up after Dazzle's death. Charlie's Canon age is 200 years. #Theory Charlie wasn't first children of Lilith and Lucifer but they all born death. @ LadySygerrik Some stories of Lilith have her cursed with the inability to have children, with all of hers being either born dead or dying shortly after being born. It could be Charlie isn't their first child, just the first one to survive. @Valentino simp If we learned anything from Helluva Boss, it's that Viv love morbid backstories soooo @CrazyRani247 I heard that Vivz even confirmed that Charlie was fathered by Lucifer, because of the abortion curse. I can only assume that this led to some tension between Lucifer and Lilith and I wonder if that was part of why they broke up. I too am HELLUVA SUS from Lilith. Even before the end of this episode.
Lucifer wasn't there earlier because he literally was not allowed to be due to the conditions of the deal he made with Adam, which was that he wouldn't interfere with the exterminations as long as no Hellborns were harmed. But as soon as he put his hands on his daughter he violated that deal so Lucifer was allowed to jump in at that time. Basically he was just watching and waiting for Adam to fuck up, which he did 😄
sadly the exact details of that weren't actually explained in the show itself. either due to runtime requirements, or because of vivsie's writing style, a lot of setting details such as that were explained seperately either through twitter or livestreams, so watching the show in a vacume means there's no way to actually know that.
@@Lykos93Actually this is one of the things actually explained in the show, Lute clearly says in episode 1 that they aren't allowed to target hellborn
@@Lykos93Lute explains this in the first episode that they can’t kill Hellborn. It doesn’t take any kind of thought to figure out Lucifer wouldn’t be allowed to get involved unless some part was broken.
Lute would be in charge of the Exorcists now because she was Adam’s lieutenant, hence her namesake. Lol. Viv’s explanation is funny on that. And another small detail that I liked… 42:39 there’s a statue of Dazzle. 🥹 (Edited because I was tired and got the name mixed up)
@@professorbutters I hate it because I loved those two they were just so cute and it kills my favorite crack ship... I always wanted Collin of the cherubes to migrate to the hotel. He gets hired on as the conceirge maybe and at a staff welcom mixer he hass a little to much to drink and the little ram wakes up cuddled between the two goat brothers and form a sweet little thrupple
When angel's mask glitches, it means that they are breaking the rules. They weren't supposed to attack Charlie and the Hellborns, but since they were attacking them and killing Hellborns, their mask starts to glitch.
I dont think i've commented before but i've really enjoyed watching you reacting to hazbin! its been a weekly highlight 😄 also "3 of you in a penthouse talking shit" is the best way i've ever heard the Vees described aghdgh
Every single reaction I've seen to Vaggie sparing Lute seems to ignore that killing an unarmed and helpless person is the complete and utter opposite of everything the hotel stands for, as well as the exact thing Lute punished her for not doing before. If the lesson Vaggie learned in her three years with Charlie was "actually sparing the enemy is wrong and you should just kill them" what is the point of any of this??
At the same time, though, "violently murder your way through the underlings only to spare the main villains in charge" is one of the worst tropes. Like, why do Lute and Adam get the opportunity to surrender and run away and all that but all the random soldiers they command are slaughtered immediately and without hesitation?
@@12thLevelSithLord just piggybacking off the main comment but given the situations, lute and adam were both in "helpless" situations, the other exorcists were quite literally dive bombing with spears and dying instantly so my view is they didnt have the opportunity to be helpless to fit that scenario... i do admit the trope is dumb but the main individual that hard carries that ideal is charlie (i.e only busting out the actual weapon once someone died) and vaggie is more inline to follow that idea under situations (i.e if five muggers are charging you and you have a weapon, you dont have the luxury to not kill for your safety but you have more confidence to do so against a single mugger), the rest of them have just been killing throughout the whole show so far... i dunno, i might have meshed together some kinda head cannon that makes it make sense to me
Just a quick reminder, because it seems like half the reactors that go to Helluva Boss after Hazbin forget this aspect of the show: Helluva deals with the natural-born denizens of Hell, such as imps, hellhounds, etc. That means that while Sinners are restricted to the ring of Pride (the same ring that Hazbin takes place in) the hellborn can (and do) travel from ring to ring as needed. So if you see hellborn dealing with Sinners, by definition they'll be doing so somewhere on the Pride ring.
For more hints about where Alastor's history and future is going, watch the episode with Mimzy again and listen to the interaction between Husker and him, then come back to this episode!
it is assumed that alastor has made a deal, yes, we don't know with whom, but we know that due to that a deal alastor cannot take advantage of the maximum of his power (yes, he is stronger than he seems) and consequently he wants to be free and use all the power he has in his body, this theory is thought precisely because, in the song stayed gone from ep 2, he has black eyes, which means that he has been subjected to an agreement and is unable to completely control his body.
So one of the theories is that those with black and red eyes are those under contract (i.e. husk and one of angel's eyes). We also know Alastor is on someone's leash (maybe Lilith's) Right before he uses his shadow to leave one of his eyes goes black/red. It's my thought that whatever his deal is he wasn't allowed to kill Adam. He wasn't using angelic weapons and left the fight before he could actually do damage to him. To me this makes sense if Lilith owns him to an extent because Adam and Lilith had a deal so she could be in heaven and she wouldn't want to jeopardize that. Also Lucifer had a deal with Sera that hellborn would be spared from the extermination. As soon as Lute killed Dazzle (not to mention adam was about to kill charlie) Lucifer got a free pass to get involved. To do so before hand would have been him declaring war on heaven which would cause way more issues.
The black and red eyes theory has already been debunked (unless it gets retconned). When Husk was talking about his past, he already had those eyes prior to entering a contract with Alastor.
Fan Theory: It is debated the reason why Lucifer didn’t step in to help the battle right away was due to the deal he made with Heaven. Part of that deal was that Hellborn could not be killed during the extermination. What we see right before he appears is two specific moments that could have broken that contract: The first being the death of Dazzle, one of the Hellborn creations of Lucifer that he gave to Charlie, the second when Adam declared he was going to kill Charlie. This, theoretically, would have let him enter the battle
Would be interesting if, as an angel, you can be as much of a pos as you want, but if you die again, you go to hell like if you repent in hell and die again, you go to heaven.
If Adam is going to return, then let it be like in the style of Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest. Adam in the end of season 2 enters in Hotel to the surprise and shock of everyone there "So tell me, What was that bitch who stabbed me through?" He takes a rib and takes a bite out of it, and then laughs madly and sinisterly. And then credits and music.
The based Adam after his voice actor Alex Brightman so that’s why he looks handsome. Also Lute’s name is short for lieutenant (it was a placeholder name that stuck) and is shown to be Adam’s second in command that’s why she’s in charge. She was the next highest ranking member of the exorcists.
About the green light: It's what makes Alastor have power, yes. Alastor was practicing voodoo when he was alive, living in New Arleans. And in Hell, he has so much power because of it, that's where it all started. He just kept on killing and rampaging, now getting more and more powerful through his podcast. But he has a deal with someone else. And he's not happy about it. Husk mentioned that Alastor is "also sitting on a chain" like himself (Husk). If memory serves, he said that to him in episode 6 (?). When Mimsy came to the Hotel
Your reactions for Hazbin Hotel are of my favourites.) It was a wonderful journey and I was so delighted to see updates every time. Thank you for this. I'm happy you liked it.
Collecting souls isn't the only way to become more powerful. You can also gain strength based on others believing in your power, that's why Alastor and the Vees are so careful about cultivating their images as powerful and untouchable. It's possible Adam is experiencing a similar effect, as the first human soul in heaven and father of all humanity he likely has a lot of people believing in him, at the very least all of his exorcists.
Adam called Lucifer a clown because hell is like a circus. Lucifer is the ring leader, asmodeus is the fire dancer, mammon is the clown, I think beelzebub is the beast tamer, and all the other sins are also a part of it.
i dont usually comment on videos BUT i binge watched your whole journey watching hazbin and i had SUCH A GOOD TIME!!! thanks for giving me a place to actually watch it all through and have someone to laugh and be surprised along with :DD CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU WATCH THE REST OF HELLUVA NEXT WOOHOO

Concerning Alastor's deal, and I want to be clear this is just a theory with no canon evidence yet, it has been speculated that he has a deal with an entity known as the Root of All Evil, who appeared in some of the concept art for the show. This is what allowed him to become so powerful so quickly and take down overlords. However, there has been no evidence so far that ROAE is going to end up in the show, or that it has any connection to Alastor at all. We also don't know who is holding Alastor's leash t restrain his power, though most speculate it is either Lilith (a red herring if you ask me) or Eve (who we haven't seen yet). Again, these are just theories currently.
Agreed with Lilith being a red herring. Much more fun that way since right now a lot of things seem to* add up/point to her being behind Alastor's contract. I hope they'll be able to write things so that it makes sense why everyone would misunderstand the events/see the evidence in a certain way so that the evidence points to her being behind it, and then debunk the theory so hard with whatever actually happened. Ah but if it actually is her, that could still be fun too. I hope they can play around with her a ton. edit: added "seem to" + sentences after the 1st paragraph
It was amazing journey and I love your reactions! I’m really happy that I found your channel. I’m already excited for the second season and hopefully it won’t take another 4 years lol Thank you again!

I love the double meaning in Alastair’s song lyric “nearly killed by a hair/hare” How close he was to death but also how Alastair fewer Adam as a hare not a threat.
Ok so Alastor. First take note of his conversation with Niffty. He mentions that he is almost feeling as though one could get attached to being at the Hotel. This is Viv's tell that Alastor is feeling attachment to Charlie. He may not be able to feel real empathy. But he can come to feel that his life is better with a Charlie in it than not. Keep in mind that Husk mentioned that Alastor was on a leesh too. With his disappearance 7 years ago around the same time Lilith vanished we can see a tie there. Then the fact that Alastor showed up at the Hotel immediately after Charlie called Lilith in tears makes it pretty clear that Lilith holds his soul. Alastor by his nature wants to control and manipulate people. But he has been constrained from killing people for some time now. Mimzy mentions after she does her lore dump about Alastor that he has not been killing anyone for some time now. This is because with Lilith up in Heaven she probably stopped Alastor from killing random people. This is why he makes a comment after fighting the Lone Sharks earlier. So effectively all the positive things he has been doing are largely because Lilith had his soul and forced him to Defend Charlie and the Hotel. So then he loses the fight against Adam. He retreats probably similar to what happened when he fought Vox years ago. Val mentions to Vox that he is still upset that he almost lost against Alastor back them meaning he did not lose thus Alastor lost. But after nearly dying to Adam he comments that it would have been even more egregious dying in the middle of doing something Altruistic. This is a call back to the conversation with Niffty. He is basically saying that no more of the sentimentality. He needs to break the contract and get back to trying to subvert Charlie and pull her under his control in order to put her on the throne and turn Hell into his vision of what Hell should be.
I met u because I literally serched hazbin hotel reaction on youtube and ur video was one of the first results to appear. Adam is powerful because he has what I call “first man privileges” 😂 He was the first human soul and he was also directly created by the angels themselves so he’s special. Alastor is powerful for a sinner, but there are a lot of characters leagues above him.
The reason why Luci came so "late" is because he had the contract with angels that they will leave the hellborn out of the extermination. That is also the reason why their masks start glitching as soon as Lute kills Razzle (or Dazzle idk which one now) and Adam harms Charlie and threatens here, from there on out its the real-estate for Lucifer to fight back. Also Lucifer did design hell as a cricus which I think is really poetic since he meant for it to be cheerful way back when he had hope but it instead turned out to be a joke (on his expence).
That jacket is fire! So snazzy, i want one in blue/silver over white, kinda ice theme~ Yeah the Helluva pilot isn't really canon, they changed a lot of stuff character-wise after, but it does a good job of introducing you to the characters and what the main overall basis of the show is. Alastor did bring Niffty to the hotel, we don't know the extent of their deal, though. Or really anything about Niffty's backstory. I had this pointed out to me, but in the scene of the night before, you'll see Charlie and Sir Pentious talking in the background and Charlie is 1000% rooting for him in the background lol LOL yes, snakes have 2. Things. I think that instrument is called Celestia?.... It's been a while since I played around with the sounds on my keyboard lol You know it's too much when Adam even tells you to chill out. A theory about why Lucifer didn't show up until then was because he had to wait until Adam attacked a hell-born (Charlie) to break their deal with Heaven. I wish we could see Lucifer go off more, I love his design. Adam was designed to look like Alex Brightman, so of course he's handsome lol There are so many theories about the "unclip my wings" line and I am like, I want all of them to be true rofl If you notice in the new hotel, Lucifer has his own tower on the opposite side to Alastor, so he's going to be staying at the hotel! ROFL the skit is what did it, yes Angel probably can't ascend because Valentino owns his soul. I could see that being an obstacle, and it would add a new layer to the whole process. Emily's little squeak is so cute. I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT LILITH Ugh, this was a fun ride to witness you take. Can't wait to begin the Helluva one with you. ^_^
The thing alastor was standing in front of was just the trapdoor of access to the radio tower he opened at the start of that scene, the light is just that, light
I only noticed this time - I think whoever holds Alastor's contract PURPOSEFULY cut his power right as Adam stuck him. I think it might be a Jack Sparrow thing now - He 'bought' his power, now the bill's come due...
if you rewatch the pilot of hazbin, the part where they explain who alastor is, theres one scene where you see a bunch of overloards behind him. but theres 2 that are blaked out. one is clearly husk and the other is a tiny one eyed figure. so nifty is most likely also an overloard
I love watching reactions to this episode. I've been a Sir Pentious fan since the pilot, so I just love how people talk smack on him when he gets intro'd and then come around to cheering him on, and then the devastation when Adam just fucking disintegrates him, turning to elation when he pops up in heaven. ❤🔥
Adam is powerful because he has what I call “first man privileges” 😂 He was the first human soul and he was also directly created by the angels themselves so he’s special. Alastor is powerful for a sinner, but there are a lot of characters leagues above him. Compared to say, Lucifer, he’s a bug on a windshield.
Unclip his wings implies that hes being prevented from using his full power So you can speculate that 7 years ago he made a deal that caused him to lose most of his truth strength. Alastor at full power may have been able to take Adam.
No it doesn't. Wings being clipped just means he's not free, it has nothing to do with him not able to use his full power, why do people always say this?
Because they assume that Alastor was nerfed in the fight, forgetting Alastor is only just a powerful Sinner who lost to the Vees seven years previously and that Adam is on the level of Lilith who was the 3rd most powerful being in Hell.
@@DarthDragon007 People seem to forget that Alastor is mentioned to be abnormally powerful, for a "young" Sinner, and even the Overlords can't hold a candle to actual demons like the Ars Goetia, the Seven Deadlies, or Royalty. Perhaps, in his arrogance and pride, Alastor thought he could take on Adam, because he assumed it works like Hell, and Adam is "only" a Winner, not a Heavenborn Angel, only to discover that Adam is basically the Heaven Version of Alastor, an abnormally powerful Winner.
Our boy Pentious! Glad you made it until the final episode. Side note the reason why the angel's masks were glitching is because they broke the contract not to hurt Charlie when he got allowed to leave and become the overuler of Hell, and the reason why Lucifer didn't get involved until after his daughter got hurt; the deal was broken and Lucifer could fight freely since Adam and Lute broke the contract.
THIS HAS BEEN ONE HELL OF A RIDE DUDE! 😂 Thank you for the great time! I wonder if Sera will let the word out about Sir Pentious, but at the same time, what can she do? Emily will try something for sure and Pentious will help. I hope his little egg boys are up there as well :') Another interesting thing is... What if Adam ends up in hell instead? We're left with so many questions (who's got Alastor contract? Many speculate it could be Lilith to sent him to help Charlie in her stead; but it could be something else entirely, like a major demon from another ring of hell. And what's Lilith's entire deal? And where is Eve?!) But at the same time it was so satisfying, the characters had the chance to grow, to prove themselves, and I can't wait to see where the next season will take us! The voice actors are sharing little comments on Twitter saying the songs will be even better so... Well let's just say it sounds promising! 😁
He killed only the other one though
@@DarthDragon007 It's a good theory, and it may be true. But other than an offhand comment that does not give us the full details of the deal, we have no specific proof that that is the case. Until we are given the full details of the deal in question, it remains a theory.
Also, some people say that the glitch effect in both, Lute's and Adam's masks might be from the times the deal is broken, Lute's seems to be glitched when Razzle/Dazzle dies from bleeding out, while Adam's glitches when he tells Charlie that it's time to die
Just a theory tho

I love that Pentious' kiss and sacrifice was, apparently, enough to convince Cherri that the Hotel was worth it, sice she stays after that and even helps rebuild
I just wonder how they are now going to handle Sir Pentious in Heaven and Cherri Bomb in Hell. Cuz he's definitely not going to just abandon her now.

@@Outrider85 a FILM THEORY
Ye, thats why both Lutes and Adams masks like glitch I think. They broke the rules.
Or it actually was Dazzle's death...because Dazzle is hellborn.
@@Outrider85Bro you keep saying that despite them saying it episode 1.
Lute wasn't just saying that. She is a religious zealot cultist who is so deep in her delusion and devotion to Adam that she told Charlie,
"The only reason you are alive is because Daddy pardoned you and your hellborn kind from an exorcist blade. How does that feel? To know how LITTLE you matter."
She wasn't just trying to shut down Charlie but she wanted to destroy her confidence for even "daring" to insinuate sinners were the same as heavenly souls.

Just came here to comment this very thing lol
You are correct.
hah, my first thought of Alex’s appearance was him from beetle juice and was like….. really….hot?
My favorite detail in this episode is that they used Alastor vs Adam to demonstrate what Carmilla meant by angels fighting in a sloppy way. In terms of pure power Alastor is nowhere near Adam but was able to put up a fight by being smarter and finessing around him. Alastor lost the moment he got cocky and tried to take Adam’s attack head on.
Adam also won the moment he stopped trying to outfight Alastor and just made one big swing at him of pure angelic power.
I’m glad someone else noticed that Alastor said “one COULD get accustomed” instead of saying he was actually getting accustomed
Niffty is the reason gonlincore became a thing
Let's be honest, she gave her soul up the minute she realized he was a "bad boy".
And wasn't it stated that Charlie hasn't seen or heard from Lilith in seven years?
@@ShadowMage yep
Snakes have a hemipenis which is essentially two (thus Angel's commment).
Ser Pentious got into heaven because the stood up to THE man, just like Adam said.
As for Alastor they've alluded to it a few times. He disappeared for 7 years so probably was injured and made a deal to live. But recall during the Lucifer reveal episode he gets mad at Husk for mentioning he also is wearing chains.
He went missing at the same time as Lilith, which makes me wonder if he made a deal with her and if she was pulling the strings through a lot of this.
I've never seen someone perfectly encapsulate my exact happiness when Sir Pentious got redeemed until now
A popular theory is that Alastor has a deal with either Lilith or Eve and it’s the reason he’s “volunteered” at the hotel. My little theory is that he made a deal while alive which is why he was so powerful upon arriving in hell, and whoever he made the deal with commanded him to help Charlie.
I agree. I think it probably went something like…
Lilith: “I will let you keep your power, but in exchange you are now bound to my daughter and must to the best of your ability, fulfill her every whim.
Now THAT'S an interesting theory I hadn't thought/heard about before. Really something to chew on here.
@@Mirhaus Maybe she figured out something really important at that time, something that could actually turn the tides, so they did that to her? Then because she knew they were gonna imprison her soon, she made/forced a deal with Alastor?
She is in heaven it was confirmed by the creator I think
I have a theory that I made
When Heaven kicked lilith to hell she might have been very angry and wanted revenge and empowered deamon kind to fight with heaven but that plan failed due to extermination.

Every single reaction I've seen to Vaggie sparing Lute seems to ignore that killing an unarmed and helpless person is the complete and utter opposite of everything the hotel stands for, as well as the exact thing Lute punished her for not doing before. If the lesson Vaggie learned in her three years with Charlie was "actually sparing the enemy is wrong and you should just kill them" what is the point of any of this??
great take
At the same time, though, "violently murder your way through the underlings only to spare the main villains in charge" is one of the worst tropes.
I interpreted Alister's lines about getting accustomed to the hotel as him started to be fond of everyone and a step towards his own redemption.
I wouldn’t say Alastor’s been getting to know them that well. He disappears before most of the bonding happens.
Small reminder regarding Pentious and Cherri Bomb. They have a lot of history off screen of being rivals that fought for quite a while by now.

The little dancey dance to the hazbin hotel intro gets me everytime😂
it is assumed that alastor has made a deal, yes, we don't know with whom, but we know that due to that a deal alastor cannot take advantage of the maximum of his power (yes, he is stronger than he seems) and consequently he wants to be free and use all the power he has in his body, this theory is thought precisely because, in the song stayed gone from ep 2, he has black eyes, which means that he has been subjected to an agreement and is unable to completely control his body.
The final episode! It’s been such a ride watching you react to hazbin, thank you so much for your insight/thoughts throughout the series :)
Velvette in episode 3: Why are you so scared to fight? Let's bring war to them!
Also Velvette in the last episode: Does nothing
Fan Theory: It is debated the reason why Lucifer didn’t step in to help the battle right away was due to the deal he made with Heaven. Part of that deal was that Hellborn could not be killed during the extermination. What we see right before he appears is two specific moments that could have broken that contract: The first being the death of Dazzle, one of the Hellborn creations of Lucifer that he gave to Charlie, the second when Adam declared he was going to kill Charlie. This, theoretically, would have let him enter the battle
It is also why Lute's and Adam's masks glitch for that spilt second.
imagine if in season 2 Adam came back as a hellborn and went to work with the Vees? i think itd be super interesting to see him like that
Would be interesting if, as an angel, you can be as much of a pos as you want, but if you die again, you go to hell like if you repent in hell and die again, you go to heaven.
If always wondered if he’d appear again in hell. But as a broken husk unable to accept it
It would be pretty cool for that to happen, but he was stabbed with an angelic weapon, so the internal logic sadly says no.
He is very prideful so he could end up in hell
We all get happy that Sir Pentious is alive but RIP egg bois, Frank will be remembered
Lute is also a type of stringed musical instrument, so it has a double meaning considering how much music plays a role in the show
Charlie is a Nephilim (50% human & 50% Angel).
I love that Sir Pentious, instead of appearing at the pearly gates like literally everybody else, he just get's dropped off at Sera's office xD
Angel was wingman-ing for Pentious, but it slipped when you paused… so you missed a little context. 😂

And know, right at that moment when you said that any two persons could sing it to each other, it was exactly Angel and Husk who were the first to come to my mind and almost immediately it was voiced in the video!!!! 🥰🥰 And I really loved this moment so much!!! ❤❤❤
Their name is Roo ♥️ and I hope they do show up in the show following this theory
I’m already excited for the second season and hopefully it won’t take another 4 years lol
Thank you again!
I got the perfect accidentl timing, i discovered your channel just today and watched all you reactions to HH episodes, and now you upload this, Just perfect, now lets watch it
Just one line and I'm in love with Valentino's voice ❤ 38:07
Man, this has been the day I look forward to every week, and imma miss it! Might check out some other reactions though, because you bring joy and positive energy to my night when I watch your vids :)
also the suit jacket ROCKS holy shit
I love the double meaning in Alastair’s song lyric “nearly killed by a hair/hare” How close he was to death but also how Alastair fewer Adam as a hare not a threat.
He said hair.
Lol i love how every reaction misses Vox and Valentino making out for a split second during the final song 😂
I met u because I literally serched hazbin hotel reaction on youtube and ur video was one of the first results to appear. I am very happy that I've decided to take a look at it because of all the reactions to this show that i watched so far, urs it's one I enjoied the most and I think I’ll watch more of ur videos now.
Small note: I don't know if you noticed, but since you didn't reacted at all I assumed no, at the minute 42:00 Vox and Val are like😘😘👨❤💋👨 I was waiting to see your reaction to that lol but it's fine I figureted it in my mind. Thank u for those amazing videos and ur hard work!
I think Alastor's deal was with Lillith and has something to do with why he actually is staying at the hotel and "helping" Charlie
Adam is powerful because he has what I call “first man privileges” 😂
He was the first human soul and he was also directly created by the angels themselves so he’s special.
So snazzy, i want one in blue/silver over white, kinda ice theme~
Yeah the Helluva pilot isn't really canon, they changed a lot of stuff character-wise after, but it does a good job of introducing you to the characters and what the main overall basis of the show is.
Alastor did bring Niffty to the hotel, we don't know the extent of their deal, though. Or really anything about Niffty's backstory.
I had this pointed out to me, but in the scene of the night before, you'll see Charlie and Sir Pentious talking in the background and Charlie is 1000% rooting for him in the background lol
LOL yes, snakes have 2. Things.
I think that instrument is called Celestia?.... It's been a while since I played around with the sounds on my keyboard lol
You know it's too much when Adam even tells you to chill out.
A theory about why Lucifer didn't show up until then was because he had to wait until Adam attacked a hell-born (Charlie) to break their deal with Heaven. I wish we could see Lucifer go off more, I love his design.
Adam was designed to look like Alex Brightman, so of course he's handsome lol
There are so many theories about the "unclip my wings" line and I am like, I want all of them to be true rofl
If you notice in the new hotel, Lucifer has his own tower on the opposite side to Alastor, so he's going to be staying at the hotel!
ROFL the skit is what did it, yes
Angel probably can't ascend because Valentino owns his soul. I could see that being an obstacle, and it would add a new layer to the whole process.
Emily's little squeak is so cute.
I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT LILITH
Ugh, this was a fun ride to witness you take. Can't wait to begin the Helluva one with you. ^_^
LOVED THIS SERIESSS 🙏🙏
CANT WANT FOR THE HELLUVA BOSS REACTION AAAAA
The thing alastor was standing in front of was just the trapdoor of access to the radio tower he opened at the start of that scene, the light is just that, light
Your reaction to Pentious' redemption was so adorable! It really was a good thing to see.
I didn't care for him originally in the pilot, but Alex's performance made me love him immediately in the series
Adam is powerful because he has what I call “first man privileges” 😂
He was the first human soul and he was also directly created by the angels themselves so he’s special.
Alastor is powerful for a sinner, but there are a lot of characters leagues above him. Compared to say, Lucifer, he’s a bug on a windshield.
9:03 HUSKERDUST HUSKERDUST HUSKERDUST HUSKERDUST AHHHHHHH 🩷🤍🖤❤️
Unclip his wings implies that hes being prevented from using his full power
So you can speculate that 7 years ago he made a deal that caused him to lose most of his truth strength.
I'm gonna say... he made a deal with Lilith to get access to heaven, got bored and then came back. She's gonna turn him against Charlie in Season 2.
@@finalfaw But despite that, Vivize has said many times he's not even the strongest Overlord
If you remember, Charlie gave Niffty an angelic knife. Anyone killed by angelic weapons don't get reborn.
"Did he teleport him?" Well no but actually yes.
Also i love how at the start of the final song, Niffty's teeth are just coated in angel blood.
He paid the ultimate sacrifice, giving your life for your loved ones
I'm glad they delayed the onscreen kiss until now. It's more pure since the secret of who Vaggie is and that Charlie still loves her makes it so pure.
Can't wait for you to fall in love with M&M next week! Also, be ready to pause to read the white board each time!
I love the transition at the end from "She's so happy 😊" to "WTF is that 😶"
Thank you for reacting. Had a lot of fun watching you share your thoughts.
❤I really enjoyed your reaction to hazbin. It was something to look forward to during the week! Thank you! It was a delight! ❤
I LOVE your genuine and lovely reactions. Can't wait to watch Helluva Boss again WITH you!❤
Our boy Pentious!
Thank you for the great time!
I wonder if Sera will let the word out about Sir Pentious, but at the same time, what can she do? Emily will try something for sure and Pentious will help. I hope his little egg boys are up there as well :')
Another interesting thing is... What if Adam ends up in hell instead?
We're left with so many questions (who's got Alastor contract? Many speculate it could be Lilith to sent him to help Charlie in her stead; but it could be something else entirely, like a major demon from another ring of hell. And what's Lilith's entire deal? And where is Eve?!)
But at the same time it was so satisfying, the characters had the chance to grow, to prove themselves, and I can't wait to see where the next season will take us!
The voice actors are sharing little comments on Twitter saying the songs will be even better so... Well let's just say it sounds promising! 😁
I love your reactions so much! Everytime you upload I always get so excited lol
