Where have you been all of my life? I have been doing this process so horribly wrong and laboriously and just by chance I stumbled onto your video and thank God I did. WOW, what a game changer you are. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS TUTORIAL. I have subscribed and rung your bell. lol lol lol
So for those using the more limited but free web based Microsoft WORD as I am, one is unable to print an envelope? There is no "mailings" tab to begin the process; the FILE button vertical menu does not include an "options" button. One presentation claims you can access or cause the MAILING tab to appear by first right clicking the QUICK ACCESS in the tool bar followed by additional commands enabling the appearance of the MAILING tab but my web based WORD doesn't have that either. If this is all so, are the any options within this program which allows me to print an envelope. Thank you for you clear presentations, it's easy to follow but it seems I'm limited when it comes to printing addresses onto envelopes as others have commented. Absent hand writing an address onto an envelope I guess I could print the addresses onto a form letter, print it and paste that onto the envelope. Thank you again for your video.
The reason I'm here watching your video is because I thought I could simply tell my printer that it's an envelope. (which I did) but it didn't print it correctly. I am glad I watched your very neat and helpful tutorial .. so .. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
About to do my first mail send out and had no idea where to star, you not only explained it well, you made it feel possible. but i will still have this video on wile i do it, Thank you.

What about A2 4.375 by 5.75 gift card envelops, which are not on Words list? I tried to create custom and that failed. Why does word avoid this size envelop???
I have Word 2019, Mac version. I could not find the Option button. It seems that this clip uses a different version of Word. It is annoying for me to try to use my office address as a return address, but it keeps giving me my home address as a template for return address.
in Slovakia (central Europe) the recipient address is usually to the bottom right of the envelope. Why is Word Placing it to the center? Its an American style? Is it possible to place it where i want? Thanks
The perfect example of how Microsoft have learned NOTHING since Windows 3.11 I've had a PC since I was 8 years old, 32 years ago... Still need a video to print an envelope... How ON EARTH is this not part of the templates? Why hasn't it been for the past fucking 15 years? - Thanks for doing Microsoft's job for them!
in inserting new page for creating new envelopes, wouldnt it be easier if you click your cursor at the bottom right instead of the upper left. This way, you could start entering your email address right away.. just saying
How do I delete the extra page that Word creates after the envelope page? Otherwise, the first envelope always comes out blank. Do I have to search UA-cam for another ten minutes video "how to get rid off an extra page when printing envelopes". 🙂😠🙂
Unless I just skipped over it, I don't think this addressed my issue. My office has new software for getting letters and envelopes out of our database, so instead of using a seperate template just for envelopes I am attempting to use my Word file with ALL of the letters, and have it read all of the address blocks and make envelopes out of that. I know you can just click "envelopes" and it will pick up the address from the first letter, just I don't want to have to do that over and over again. Anyone know how to do this?
Do you have an option to set up a mail merge from the database into an envelope-shaped template? Or is your data source the produced Word file with all the already-merged address blocks?

How can I save my preferred formatting for the envelopes, so I do not have to do every time I create envelopes?
What if I’ve done all of this and it’s still printing the same delivery address for each envelope
Brilliant.
Thanks for your great comment !
