Oh I had the residue issue with the pocket on a TN after taking pockets off and I used an alcohol swab to take the residue off. Since it was the inside, (furry side) it didn't damage the leather and the residue came right off. Tho a boxed mark could be seen from the pocket which faded with time, I had no issues !
Good to see you back in your black TN, Sylvia. “Angry copy paper” made me laugh! Yes, it can be very angry AND duplicitous! Your quote on the animal page is lovely.
Yes it was a foxy fix adhesive pocket in my Olive Traveler’s Company Notebook. Someone suggested putting down Washi Tape or a sturdy Masking Tape and keep it down for awhile to pick up the adhesive residue. I will let people know if it works. I’ve got some three or four year old Cocoa Daisy Washi Tape stuck down and I’m going to leave it for a bit.
May’s plans are looking good 😊! The tiny panda stickers are really cute💕! I have to color code also. Mainly because I like color on my pages. Thick card stock on my inserts drives me nuts. I usually thin it (peal the card stock apart), or just take it off and put my own pretty paper on as cover 😊. I like the suggestion of another subbie , cut the zipper part off the plastic pouch and use a paper clip😁. I’m going to try that☺️! Thank you for sharing, take care 💗🤗!
I had to pare down what i carry due to health issues. I love my husbands regular travelers notebook in camel. Thats a huge achievement with your writing Sylvia! Goulet Pens still sells the inserts. I dont think they have it in grid anymore. I just got 2 A5 68gsm dot grid ones.
I remove the white zip thing on my pouches like that and just pinch close them. That white zip just drives me crazy 😜. Also try a pop holder on your phone. It’s made a huge difference for my wrist too.
The insert that’s fighting you, maybe try running a bone folder along the staple or stitch area from the inside to give it a bit of a crease. If there’s lots of pages it might just need a bit more bending room...? If that makes sense. Then for the stickers pouches on leather leaving a sticky patch, I wonder if using a regular white eraser might help work the glue out. I just know it works on acetate. So it’s just a possibility.
I'm still doing the monthly index too. This month I still did a regular calendar layout for events, but used part of the right side of the spread to do a line a day for trigger words. Basically I drew Sunday through Thursday on one page and Friday and Saturday on the other then used the rest of the spread for the index.
Sylvia mentioned the tacky residue from removing the adhesive pockets, there is a suede leather 4-way cleaning brush that might work. I have used this on a jacket, not a TN, but it did work.
I love your May set up. We both are very particular in how we do our planning. Did I see the leaning tower of Pisa in the front of your planner? I know I saw the word. I’ve been to Paris twice. We always buy pizza slices at the kiosk on the 1ste level of the tower and sit on the floor while we eat. I’m not good with heights. your picture make me wanna go....

It Was a foxy fix pocket I believe. My Midori stickers have not left sticky spots. Leaves marks, but haven't been sticky....

Yup the plastic tends to move around...
I took the plastic slide/zipper thing off and put a small paper clip because the bump was driving me crazy

ever thought about a fountain pen?
Maybe test Goo Gone on a similar leather? Im not sure how it would react to fabric or leather. I wouldnt put it on it without testing it

Is the slim the same as a narrow?
No, the slim is about an inch shorter and a little narrower.
Filming and uploading everyday in a month is so difficult. Congratulations!

@Aryan Dawson who else is tired of seeing these spam posts?!
Can you please share where I can find a nice brass thing like you have on your cover? 🙏🏼
Jetpens by Travelers Company
what is that name shield thingy you have on the cover?
Traveler's company brass label plate
I don’t know what that means? Dashboard? Zipper pouch?
@@SylviaWithAPlan i meant the label plate :)
I've been falling back in love with my passport TN. It's a whole journey, isn't it?!!!
