The best stand in stone ocean is Limp Bizkit, because it combines two of the scariest horror tropes, zombies and the fear of the Unkown. The stand is so terrifying since the characters can’t see the target they are fighting. No matter if you are a stand user or not you can’t see them (unless your stand allows you to) And it’s not just limited to humans but any living being like we saw with the Aligator. Sports Max didn’t know he was a zombie because of his stand until he ate a girl’s brain. It also has a crucial role in the plot, since it was the stand that helped create the Green Baby.
Yeah I can’t believe they left out the gay sex part with dio and pucci it was one of my favorite parts in the manga along with the jolyne mastermastion part smh
I agree it felt a bit rushed compared to other parts, but the CG isn’t all that bad. If anything, we should learn to accept it because Part 7 is a transcontinental HORSE RACE. And while I can’t speak from experience, I know how difficult animating horses can be. So they’re probably going to use CG for the horses.
If the cg in part 7 is on par with the cg in part 6 so far then that's simply unacceptable honestly. It needs to he incorporated way better since it's gonna be a lot more prominent
@@blaze6477 objectively speaking it could be incorporated a lot better. Even if you don't mind it surely you wouldn't want 70 episodes straight of it lol
Honestly I enjoy C-Moon the most and therefore believe it is the “best” stand in Part 6. I really enjoy the way how it manipulated gravity, whether it’s not inverse, flipped, or increased gravity. I thought that the whole idea of it being able to kill with a single punch made it incredibly unique and spawned some really inspired counters to the ability like Jolyne’s Möbius strip. I think that most stands in Part 6 can be characterized as incredibly unique, even within the JoJo canon.
I didn't mind the CGI, overall I didn't notice much and kinda liked it. I think it gave Stone Ocean a unique feel compared to the other parts. Although it probably could have done with an extra month or two especially the first episodes.
1.) I think that the reason this rush job turned out so well despite it being rushed is due to how good David productions is. I honestly doubt it would turn out so well for a lot of other studios so this sets a potentially bad example. 2.) The anime industry is already known for horrible crunch so I don't think adding an extra problem onto the animators schedule is a good idea. Is being able to binge worth it for an unfinished product potentially built on the back of the animator's health worth it to people? Personally, I don't need to binge my content. I can wait and actually prefer to wait a little longer for a more quality product. I think the way this was handled hurt more than it helped. I don't think that the Netflix model needs to be. everywhere.
the best stand in stone ocean has to be whitesnake the whole "i steal your powers" gimmick is done just about everywhere, but the way it's executed in stone ocean is just amazing to me having it not only steal stands, but memories as well makes it even more of a huge threat than before, and also gives it a bit more variety and uniqueness rather than the usual ability-stealing ability plus whitesnake gun
And it also doesn't go the direction you expect. Star Platinum is considered a reject, by Pucci, simply because it still has to obey the laws of stands where the stand user has to be strong enough for the stand and none of his people could handle it. As strong as Jolyne was, even she could only manifest Star Platinum for a few seconds before it backlashed on her.
Weather manipulation has always been a relatively common ability in stories and folklore. From mythology to superhero comics, being able to summon lighting and rain has always appeared. What Araki did with Weather Report is to take this power and completely flip it on it’s head. Instead of the normal storms and such, you have poison dart frogs raining from the sky and cloud astronaut suits. These make the fights as bizarre but epic as they always have been with an ability that is easy to grasp as we have all seen it before. The possibilities behind the stand and what it can do were pretty much limitless and Araki knew that. By far Weather Report is the best stand in Stone Ocean.
Basically the manga verison of Xmen Storm. Because she needs to keep her emtions in check so she wasnt go berserk. Becauase her full power is just as deadly as Weather report.
That’s the same reason why I love abilities like Risotto’s Metallica or Ghiaccio’s White Album. They’re conventional abilities used in unconventional ways, controlling metal is now becoming invisible, reattaching body parts, and creating razors inside people’s bodies with their blood, and not just throwing cars or flying or some other boring ability
Jail House Lock has to be the best stand in Part 6. The fact that you are limited to only 3 memories is terrifying and may even be worse that having no memories since if your memories are wiped, you’ll eventually recover them or create new ones. However with the limited amount that is 3, you can’t really do anything to recover your memories or even create new ones since after you hit the maximum amount, your memories get reset. Because of that, you’ll eventually be trapped in loop where you are doomed to repeat the same mistakes that could lead to your demise(Just like what almost happened to Emporio). Plus, you can really tell when the stand ability activates so that’s a bit troubling. I kinda wish that it got talked about more.
my memory gets like that when I'm under stress and i can confirm it's fucking scary when it happens lol... i have derealization disorder and have been in hospital multiple times because of the panic attacks and fear it causes me
This was interesting to listen to. I think that while the end product is rushed, it's kinda weird to me when people complain how a show isn't fun to binge. I really despise the concept of binge consuming any piece of media, which does also make me dislike the overall release schedule. As much as I enjoy arcs like The Visitor and Operation Savage Garden compared to some early ones from part 5, you can really tell DP had to cut some corners. I wish Netflix wouldn't had pushed for such a release. In general I think both the backgrounds and music cuts have hindered the experience...
@@DatBoiMikey Is this a common problem with Netflix anime content? Their western animated shows and live action series don't seem to be as rushed comparatively speaking. It weirds me out why they couldn't agree on a more reasonable release schedule with DP. People love JOJO. We would've been hyped had we had to wait an extra 3 or 6 months. It's really sad to see how such an outstanding introductory arc like The Visitor didn't hit the same highs in the anime. Whereas an okayish arc like Black Sabbath was elevated in such an amazing way by DP.
@@DatBoiMikey It's not really a netflix thing, it's a simulcast thing. It happened in previous Jojo arcs as well, as plenty other simulcasted animes in Japan. You can simply search comparison between the simulcast and bluray versions, there's plenty of example where you can see that they retouched a lot of the animation for the bluray releases versus the simulcast ones. I recall Jojo Part 4 being especially bad on that front
@@Zantagor i see. so let’s say that someone who started jojo in 2021 and had watched the blue ray version (and since the person is used to watching a more cleaner, retouched version) would they find the initial, simulcast version odd? i watched parts 1-3 on netflix which had some stuff censored (i’m guessing it was the simulcast version on netflix?) but since the UK doesn’t have parts 4 & 5 on netflix i decided to watch it on some illegal website. parts 4 & 5 weren’t censored at all so i checked and i believe i must’ve been watching the blue ray version.
honestly i can forgive White Snake being CG, because oh lord theres just NO way to animate such detailed character design without being limited, with stripes with letters all around his body , it was either gonna have been animated with CG, tweened puppets or non animated PNGs with some filters and effects on top
@Firdt Last drawing striped characters is not a big deal. Animating them by hand on the other hand...oh boi. When animating something details like that you gotta be super accurate in every frame otherwise it will be super noticeable. And now these are not only stripes, these stripes have small letters inside, which will have to be even more accurate each frame and that is what really hurts my brain to even just think about animating that by hand
Best stand is almost definitely Bohemian Rhapsody I loved how creatively it was used and especially them being forced to end the "story" how it originally ended.
The way the CGI is in SO... I'm honestly nervous for SBR if it ever gets animated. But if they pull off the CGI horse scenes like the animators of Attack on Titan did, then I think it should be fine.
@@messengerfrom0 I heard part 5 was hell for DP... and that by the time the first episode aired only the first half or two-thirds of episodes were actually finished
Best stand is/was, in my opinion, Lang Rangler’s stand, “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”, not only because of its awesome and unique gravity removal ability, but also because it has the infinitely great power of centrifugal force. If only David Production lived up to the infinitely great responsibility to wield that power and adapt the fight up to my objectively correct high standards. Nah, I kid. The fight was great. Though the CGI was a bit unnerving...
Facts. I think that a lot of people dislike Lang Rangler mainly due to his design but the fight itself is great, not to mention it's also the first time we see Weather Report in action. I was hoping that more people might appreciate this fight in the anime adaptation but the CGI probably made it worse. It can help to give scenes more depth which works well in theory with his gravity shenanigans and I can imagine what they were going for, it's just the execution that was lackluster. If the animators take their time to polish the upcoming episodes more, the batch release wouldn't be so bad after all.
@@vermillion6159 This is 100% facts. I honestly gave Netflix the benefit of the doubt at first, because, for me at least, the first 2/3-ish of stone ocean was pretty slow and lackluster (at least until an encounter with a certain individual that is associated with a specific color). If I were to continue how Netflix should release Stone Ocean, they should do a batch release for the next 12-13 episodes, and then for the final third of the season, they should absolutely make it a weekly release, so that the hype for stone ocean can reach astronomical levels.
Best stand in stone ocean is without a doubt weather report, stand user: Weather Report. It’s a completely busted ability with a cool design that has great symbolism when compared to white snake. I love every fight he’s in and am so excited to see more of him. (However my favorite is F. F. because I’m a simp)
They actually changed the fight for the better. I saw another commenter mention how Jolyn coming up with a play that fit within the parameters of the bet's rules (her saying the guard getting the ball counted as a catch) was something only done in the anime, and I think that really deserves a lot of respect on DP's part. Hopefully this next batch is them tidying up and taking their time with the rest of the series
I really like Kiss, the stats are insane and it’s sticker ability is honestly crazy op! The concept of a collision after the item that was duplicated is so cool to me for some reason😭
I feel as if Diver Down is the so called best stand of part 6 due to how many scenarios it can be used in with its ability to dive in and reconstruct things from the inside
Hell Diver Down is on the high end of broken in just the series generally. Like if stands like King Crimson, Star Platinum, and D4C Love Train are an S Tier, then Diver Down would be like a high A Tier with stands like Purple Haze, Soft & Wet, and Base Gold Experience.
I like some of the CGI in Stone Ocean probably the reason why some didn’t like it was they weren’t use to it because a lot of other parts didn’t have it.
Best stand in part six is weather report the design is unique even for JoJo’s. The unlimited potential/ utility it showed in its uses is awesome. Then the backstory behind weather and tragedy of his life makes it pull at the heart.
The best stone ocean stand is stone free. It’s ability is simple yet fleshed out. It is one of the most balanced stands. It also is diverse and allows some Joseph-like trickery. It also fits with Jolyne’s personality as she adapts quickly to prison and then stand attacks. She also puts the stand to good use (spoiler warning) (e.g Möbius strip). I also think it pairs well with Jotaro and star platinum. She can use the string to scout and and star platinum can punch.
@@waffles5433 More like Star Platinum and Hierophant Green but that opens a totally different can of worms. Not that I have anything to complain about it though. :D
I just realized something. If they started using a lot of cgi for part 6 they might be testing if it works. In part 7 there's a lot of horses and horses are really hard to animate, so if they use cgi for something like a flag in part 6, they might try to use it for horses. I swear, if the horses in Steel Ball Run look like Lang Wrangler in Stone Ocean I'm going to go apeshit.
The best stand has to be the boiling water stand since its a slightly worse, more primitive Speed King. Speed King is great so the boiling water stand is great by association
It's arguably better than Speed King, cus instantaneous tea. Why would you ever want to blow someone's artery up? But I would definitely want to have my tea when I actually want tea, and not a couple minutes later when the water is boiled but I don't want tea anymore. Insta S-tier
@@TerminaBroTheFirst can you tho? If I remember correctly, Speed King can only apply heat to a single point. Kind of like a lazer. It's a lot of heat, sure, but it's still very compact. The reason why microwaves spin your food is that the heat has to be destributed evenly.
You'd think with a schedule affected by the pandemic, the release would be PUSHED BACK instead of rushed. Hopefully they take their time with finishing Stone Ocean. The entire run of JJBA has been fantastic so far and doesn't deserve anything less..
Weather report is probably the best stand, besides being honestly a bit broken, it’s a good overall design and the ways it’s implemented into fights is interesting
Honestly, best Stand in Part 6 for me is Stone Free, it’s versatility never ceases to amaze me. From basic stuff like transmitting sound waves and hooking stuff to letting Jolyne run over water and make a bullet proof jacket. And the conclusion to the C-Moon fight was the biggest “No f***ing way!!!” moment I’ve had in years.
I completely agree that Stone Free is the best, I love how such a simple ability has so much more potential than most of the other protagonists abilities
Ima be real. I didnt think the cgi looks bad at all. Im an anime only and have only read part 7 currently reading 8 so i dono how much was skipped and even though i know they did i didnt feel like i am missing some info. I enjoyed these 12 episodes so much and was exactly what ive been waiting for, cuz eventhough part 5 was enjoyable it didnt sit right with me and i was dissappointed.
I didn’t really like part 5s ending and got tired watching it… literally had to come back two years later just to finish the diavolo fight Bc it was so drawn out
@@thatswiccid You know what the funny thing is... it wasn't even a fight LMAAO. bruh they didn't even fight Diavolo was just hiding in peoples bodies and occasionally attacking when no one is looking. that was my main issue. they hype him up so much in a good way that I thought he will be so menacing and terrifying but he acted like a coward by just hiding. if u look at all other villains they at least have 1 episode of fighting the main jojo alone just the jojo and the villain fighting face to face but part 5 didn't have that. it was a shame
@@Hajisangak facts diavolo was wasted potential.. cannot say the same for how theyre fleshing pucci out along with the other minor antagonists. really enjoyed the arc so far and most complaints to me seemed nit picky
@@thatswiccid agreed. I already have way more respect for pucci and he seems more menacing than diavolo. joylene is also a much more interesting jojo than that blank piece of wood that was giorno
@@Hajisangak That's why I like Kira. He prefers to avoid confrontation if it doesn't affect his quiet life, but when he gets in a fight it's terrifying.
The best stand in Stone Ocean has to be Whitesnake, because it can take away the memories and stand of a person. It’s easily one of the most unique stands in Jojo.
@@marusdod3685 it can take any part of your soul/mind (senses, memories and stands) And it can input certain commands that are hard wired into ur brain even if it is biologically impossible for you to do on your own (like how he made the frog explode)
The people excusing the CGI amaze me. People saying its "not bad" or "good enough", do you want your show to improve? Most casual viewers wont mind much but people more invested in the series and into animation in general are going to see this as a huge negative for the show. If you like something a lot then you want the best for it, excusing poor standards only incentivizes the production committee to continue this and set shorter deadlines and even more rushed production since the fans seem to be okay with it and some are even actively encouraging it. The biggest problem are people who tell you to "stop crying about it" when you give any sort of valid criticism.
I wholeheartedly agree with you. It's really annoying when you give valid criticism and then a fanatic jumps at you for even daring to say their favorite show isn't perfect.
Personally I really enjoyed the anime adaptation and it was so fun seeing the stands from part 6 get adapted into anime form. That being said I can definitely see many of the issues here. Hopefully in the Blu ray version of Jjba the issues are all resolved but I can see why people don't like it. The OST is definitely an issue because aside from Weather and Jolynes theme I couldn't remember any other character themes from the first 12 episodes.
Usually they'll improve in blu ray ver way more better compared to the tv ver. Remove censor, improve graphic (remember kira's wife?) and tons of panelling
with character themes, they were just not played as much as alot of charchters didnt need much highlight. this was less of a "ost thing" and more of an anime thing i think we will see more memerable ones soon
I like the concept of survivor, a typically weak stand being utilized properly, but my favorite stand has to be weather report. It can be super powerful and weather uses it creatively, also stand design is cool
This is after the giveaway but I wanna talk about my favorite stand in the entire series Stone Free anyway. Really the reason I love this stand is because it has so much potential for creativity, that stone ocean actually uses, while also being somewhat limited. If I compare it to say, Gold Experience, that stand also has endless creative potential, but doesn't really have much limitations, as it can turn things into lifeforms, any lifeform, so it's uses feel more like "ok sure I guess" rather than "holy shit that's genius", but that's just my opinion. I also like this stand because it doesn't have to be explained as much whenever it does something cool, it's more visually evident because "a bunch of string" is a very intuitive concept, and so are the uses for it generally. I also love how it's still a punch ghost, and the coiled string thing is a very cool way to make it a punch ghost to me, rather than just having a material form separate from the string. Oh yeah and also it looks really cool.
The best stand in Stone Ocean has to be C-Moon. The way it ties into the greater thread of gravity in the entire jojo universe through a literal representation of it was masterful, and I love its ability and how it was used. The fight was enjoyable enough too, and included sone genius moments from both sides ie. Jolyne's Mobius Strip and Pucci levitating in the frame. All in all a great stand used very well in Part 6, if you ask me
as an anime only i can really only say that I didn't catch the bad CGI on the first pass through but now going back and looking at it I can't agree with you more. using the CGI in places that make sense feels so much better than replacing the hand-drawn backgrounds, just hits diffy.
Personally i found Dragon’s Dream to be the absolute “best” stand in part 6 tbh. Its ability when executed right will literally have the power to always win. Without regarding fate, its invincibility rivaled that of king crimson just bc of how it will always win when in the correct place at the correct time. Of course its uses are very limited in comparison but its kinda cool having to train for it rather than simply “kekka dake da” your way. So yes, cool concept, cool application, cool approaches, hands down the coolest stand in Stone Ocean.
Although Anasui is my favourite character in Stone Ocean, I am literally basing my entire career and future as a meterologist because of Heavy Weather and Weather's character. I have always been fascinated by the weather but I did not realise just how much I have an interest in the science of weather until I finished reading Stone Ocean, so hey, one physicist to another am I right? P.S I'm still waiting on that video about your experiences in university doing a science degree, would love to hear about your thesis using spectroscopy.
im praying. begging. WEEPING. fucking SOBBING ON MY KNEES. that part 7 wont be rushed or pushed due to a release time. part 7 is already going to be extremely hard to adapt but godddd after part 6? im a little worried. edit: also, as an anasui fan (he kind of made part 6 for me. /hj), i am looking forward to him.
The best stand in Stone Ocean is CLEARLY Dragons Dream. One just has to awaken to their third eye to truly understand the subtle nuances and passion Araki poured into this fight. Also dragons are neat.
I’d have to agree with Andrew and say the the best part 6 stand is Weather Report/Heavy Weather. It’s ability is so broken and varied, it’s the stand that beat Made In Heaven with next to no effort thanks to Emporio’s knowledge of both it’s ability and the atmosphere. It’s been shown to be able to use it’s electrokinesis to control people’s brains, had Weather/Wes not been trying to help Jolyne then he would’ve been easily able to destroy Lang Wrangler either by electrocuting him or burning him or just by straight up using the A that WR has in power to beat the shit out of him. And when Heavy Weather was unleashed everyone’s (even Pucci after removing his sight) only solution was to run away and outpace all the snails. It’s blatantly obvious that based on both Wes (after regaining his memories) and Emporio’s showings with the stand and sub-stand that if the user was smart enough Weather Report/Heavy Weather can do basically anything with it’s total control of the atmosphere and weather. But you’re judging the stand not the users, and this isn’t even mentioning it’s great design. In my opinion it’s the one of the best looking stands originating from part 6 with only Diver Down, C-Moon and Made In Heaven beating it. It’s simplistic and mostly monochrome but I think that it adds very well to the aesthetic and fits what the stand’s manifested form is (a bunch of clouds). Love your videos Shuckmeister, merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Man so many people were seriously telling that Stone Ocean was rushed, its basically the cyberpunk moment where everyone just wanted it to release fast and then complain that it was unfinished
I hope DP and Netflix consider having more time, because I hope they see that their production quality for this part was not on par with the other 5 parts, as highlighted in your awesome video, Shuck.
Well while everyone in the comment section is wanting the figurine, I'll give some of my criticism of the anime as a whole. Story wise i honestly didn't even think it was rushed, I mean in fact i didn't even know it was rushed up until this point. I thought it was a perfectly fine 'villain of the day' style that the series went for. Now I understand that i haven't read much about the manga up until the F.F fight, but everything for me went up fine for the whole 12 episodes that I was able to binge in a whole day Animation...man was I astonished about the whole art style, and yes I agree that CGI wasn't the best (looking at you Whitesnake) but really I didn't even notice scenes were really made out of pure CGI (piano scene and opening scenes used as an example) but I thought everything seemed to be fine. Looking at it more after watching the video I did realize some things were rushed in the end but, watching it as a first timer I didn't think much of it. Overall the anime was a really nice refresher and allowed me to immerse myself back into JoJo after Part 5 ended. Sure my view of the anime may seem like I'm just a dumb-fuck who doesn't really pay attention to the littlest things while watching an anime, but regardless of things, I enjoyed it, and I'll be looking forward to the next batch of episodes.
ye i thought the pacing was alright but I have to agree with with shuck, Jolyne's theme is soooo over used it feels like there trying to push another big hit like giornos theme but the thing that made it good was the fact that it was used during special moments
Yeah, I don't really get the big complains about the CGI, yes, it's not the best in the world, but I don't feel it "cheap". And yes, sometimes feels kinda rush but that's because TV format it's just different to Manga format, obviously.
@@skittylee6743 hell nah man, Giorno’s theme was used like once per episode in Part 5, it’s just funny how much they spam it. Bucciaratti’s theme that’s a badass remix of zipper sounds with amazing guitars and drums? Nah, just use Giorno’s theme. Narancia’s adrenaline-filled, fast-paced song that emulates the sound of an airplane? Never heard of it, might as well use Giorno’s theme. It’s my one major problem with the Part 5 anime adaptation, and Jolyne’s theme is honestly underused by comparison
I don’t care about it being rushed. 12 episodes in one day is great. CGI is visible but it’s always short. Like bruh every anime’s CGI is bad and visible. What is the difference? Overall art style is great. It is combining season 5 anime and part 6 manga style. voices and sounds are beautiful for ears as always. What’s the problem?
100% agree with you. The complaints they make I don't feel them like a big deal, I mean, yes, the anime it's not perfect and has issues, but they're not really a big of a deal for me
Well people hated aot cgi so no wonder people didn’t like cgi that was worse for jojo. Like they didn’t even have the time to put lines on rangler that’s how you can tell it was rushed
My favorite stand in stone ocean is Weather Report because of how uniquely it gets used. I loved the raining frogs so much. It's just so neat thinking of all the different ways it could be used.
Manga Spoilers Ahead : I think the best stand in Stone Ocean is probably Green Green Grass Of Home , the stand of the Green Baby , considering how it essentially makes the user invincible with no drawbacks . Any attack , projectile or stand will just get smaller and smaller as it gets closer until it can’t be considered a threat anymore and the user can freely decide what shrinks and what doesn’t . If the user wasn’t a baby this stand could’ve been incredibly powerful .
I was just about to mention projectiles, like how you could fuse him between thigns effected by kiss, but yeah you're right - its an automatic ability! Josh 1, me 1 I think but not in this battle! also exactly! like Death 13
I honestly felt the same way about Stone Ocean being rushed after watching the first 12 episodes. Everything could've looked so much better if David Pro and Netlfix did a weekly episode release like what Netflix did with Komi Can't Communicate and Eden Zero. I definitely felt like Stone Ocean was gonna have production troubles too, after the whole Jojo soul event when they didn't release a PV trailer, which was weird cause they released a PV trailer with Part 5s announcement along with character designs of the main cast. For the CGI I saw many complaints about it and I thought it wasn't gonna be that bad since Aerosmith looked good and that was CG. Thinking they were only gonna use CG for Manhattan Transfer but even though Manhattan Transfer came out looking clean, they really used some Ps2 CGI for the other stands.
The best stand in stone ocean is easily survivor. On a real note, I think survivor is underappreciated, and the fact that it made the inmates significantly stronger and like they just took bath salts, it would have good destruction potential if released on a crowd of people.
@@newjescity Sorry, but I feel if youre reading through peoples favorite stand in a jojo part, and only a third of it has been animated, you're bound to get spoiled.
Best stand is “highway to hell”, with the ability to share damage. Not only would it protect you from all stand users besides some healing stands such as Crazy Diamond, and even then stand users usually cannot heal themselves. So if a stand user were to Damage you would both suffer equal damage therefor would make you invincible, unless the stand user was willing to sacrifice themselves. And with a stand user such as Thunder McQueen it would probably be a win for him either way.
Sadly, that's not how HtH works. It only reflects damage you inflict on yourself, thus how Hermes was able to beat him up with no issues. That's why pucci gave it to the suicidal McQueen, because he's the only one who would go all the way to kill his opponent
One of my favorite stands from Stone Ocean is definitely Diver Down. Maybe it’s my bias towards Anasui for being such a cool character but I think Diver Down’s ability makes for some of the coolest moments in the series, and I especially think that some of the shots of Diver Down entering people and objects are some of the most gorgeous panels in the entire manga
the best stand in stone ocean is obviously stone free (imo lmao). this is because it breaks all the previous ideas about what a power type stand can be, much less a main jojos stand. it helps distinguish jolyne from every Jojo before her. not only that but how it inhabits her body is a concept yet to be fully explored in jjba up to part 6. it once again shakes up the series' fights and adds more flavor and complexity. part 6 is my favorite part and stone free is a huge component to that.
Best stand is definitely Jumping Jack Flash, it has the ability to literally ctrl delete gravity and if used correctly can suffocate your enemy. It has an amazing design and amazing powers. It can counter many stands and is highly efficient at destroying multiple objects at a time. Only flaw is that you must collect scrap to fill up its cannons, but if you have easy access to those, it is a killing machine
My favorite stand in part 6 is probably whitesnake, with its simple design really adding to how perfect of an antagonistic stand it is on top of its ability to make more stand users.
As an anime only for part 6 (after watching the first 5 parts I started reading the english translation by Viz Media so I'm still in the part 5 manga) , I have been really enjoying part 6, the story as been really fun and I quite liked the pacing, only having small issues with it in episodes 4 and 9 (I first watched the first 5 episodes and in the following day watched the remaining 7), the characters have been super fun and the stands very entertaining as well and the voice performances have been amazing (I have only watch the japanese dub because there no dub for my native language). The animation, in my opinion, has a couple flaws but I still have really liked it, the cgi doesn't really bother me for the most part and lang rangler when he first appeared was the funniest thing because the cgi was quite meh in some of his scenes unfortunately. The silhouettes were a bit overused as well Jolyne's theme but I personally love the theme so it only bothered me in the crocodile poo scene. Even though I'm having so much fun with the part and I think that Stone Ocean seems to be heading in becoming one of my favourite parts, I still think that Netflix is fucking David Pro over by forcing them to release part 6 earlier and would much rather if they would give them for example an extra month to work on it or if they released the show weekly like they're doing with Blue Period or Komi-san. Been really loving the videos and the memes you have been making and I'm really excited every time you release a video to see what you have uploaded. Keep up with the great work. (As I said before english is not my main language so I hope what I wrote is at least legible)
my thought are exactly the same as yours! I'm not in a rush so I hope DP can have time to polish the rest of the episodes. When I was watching the first batch I saw a lot of frames of jolyne's face having no quality (while pucci's face looking so good in every frame). Netflix is in such a hurry that even the main protagonist is sometimes badly drawn. Still, part 6 appeared to be having the best plot and will probably be my favorite, but part 5 is best drawn(I don't blame dp because of the pandemic going on but yeah part 5 just looks the most appealing to me)
Foo fighters is my favourite because from a normal cluster of plankton, to a human-like sentient cluster. The stand disc that the plankton have been affected by made the plankton sentient with intellect and emotions, and it felt somewhat relatable because the plankton desparately wanted a purpose, and even though it knows Pucci is "evil" in a sense, it still decided to follow his instructions which makes it have much more depth as a character in a sense of someone seeking for a purpose in life. During the final part of the battle where F.F runs after the tractor despite knowing that it will lose water to the farmland, ran after the discs to protect it's purpose and identity. Afterwards when Jolyne orders F.F to protect the discs for her sake, despite being unable to completely understand Jolyne's feelings and intentions, it admits defeat and accepts it fate. The desperation and humility shown by F.F, despite not being a human in my opinions really makes you see the humanity in it and is what really solidifies F.F as my favourite in all of part 6 even though there are more stands with more impressive abilities. Also the fact that F.F uses Altroe's body to become best girl makes it my favourite stand
The best stand in Stone Ocean is Made in Heaven because of its ability, the way the ability ties to it's song lyrics, and because of what it did we would get Steel Ball Run after part 6. "I'm taking my ride with destiny Willing to play my part Living with painful memories Loving with all my heart" "It was all meant to be," "Waiting for possibilities Don't see too many around"
I think the best stand is stone free. The way Jolyne unravels her body is used in many creative ways. Also the sunglasses stone free is wearing makes it automatically the best stand
to be completely honest i didnt even realize whitesnake had cgi scenes. probably just bc of his light color lmao also my fav (and best) stand is crazy diamond. imagine having that thing irl, it legit makes me frustrated sometimes lol. only hospital bills your family would have to pay for are yours and if you were frustrated you could smash anything and then just fix it after, ezpz
I'm such a casual watcher of jojo, I've come to associate it with new and experimental and adventurous and unexpected. So the CGI choices to me didn't come across as rushed, it came off as an intentional artistic change. I feel like JoJo's reputation is that expect the unexpected
I get that it isnt a direct "part 6" stand, but i really liked how Star Platinum was used in the part. Any time we saw it in other parts, Jotaro completely overwhelmed the opponent, but in this part we see Pucci target out Jotaro and use his op stand against him, we see it at the start and at the ending with Made in Heaven. Pucci has read Jotaro's memories, and knows about Star Platinums abilities, and deems it not important, eve though it was used to defeat Dio. I just like how its presented in this part as more of a weakness to Jotaro, despite part 3 and 4 showing how Jotaro just punches his was through everything, and its fitting based on how the end of part 6 ends, and shows how punching alone couldnt change fate.
Personally I think the best stand in stone ocean has to be Underworld. It's design is amazing and really catches the eye and it's stand ability has a lot of story elements as well, with him literally digging up weather reports past. That and it's ability has a lot of potential, but it's underutilized. Imagine if he decided to use it's ability in a place where a stand battle had already occurred. You'd think your just going against one stand but then it uses it ability and you get an ora barage from past jolyne or even Hermes.
Fr, I see this with all of the Dio son stands. Sky High was the only one utilized to maximum potential, bohemian Rhapsody was busted but got messed up because of the drawbacks and under world was a really awesome concept because of its versatile ability granting versus a ton of actions for attack. But sadly it didn't get much attention and wasn't used all too well, but I still love it regardless
I didn’t really notice the CG until I saw the frog flying. I felt like it fit though and really made Whitesnake feel otherworldly and scary in an otherwise 2D environment. Showed just how out of place he was. I’m excited to see Made in Heaven and how they do that final scene
Best stand for me is C-moon, I absolutely love the stand ability,it can make for some really creative fights. I also love the design of it. Even though Pucci is a lackluster villain imo,he has some really cool stands.
Not true My dad is Netflix he would never do that 😡 Also survivor is the best stand. A true underdog story going from the worst Stand to a real villain in jojo. Brings me to tears 😭
For me personally, i really like, scratch that, love Manhattan Transfer. It's like very early in the manga and in the anime. It has no offensive moves on it's own, but if you use it right, it can be a very nice stand. How Johngalli A used that stand was for some reason "very satisfying". i feel like i said something wrong in that sentence but oh well. I still love the freakin stand. Being able to "sense" opponents with air currents??? And has a ridiculously long range? Man, it's just so cool
SPOILERS: My favorite stand in stone ocean has got to be weather report. The way it takes the super broad concept of “weather” and expands upon the power to make it literally do anything that counts as weather including manipulating rays of sun and using subliminal messaging is just so crazy and creative from araki. I also really like weather reports growth over time as a character and he’s just funny in general. Heavy weather best arc
I believe that the best stand is Marilyn Manson due to how it's seemingly unbeatable nature creates a sense of tension unlike anything the viewer has felt before the arc. As well as this the way that the user was taken down due to the stands autonomous nature not allowing her to protect herself gave a quick and satisfactory finish to the end of the fight.
My favourite stand would be Stone Free. The daughter of the strongest stand user, Jolyne ironically didnt get that trait passed down to her. While Stone free isn't as strong or fast as Star Platinum, it cover its weakness with versatility. I love that while her stand is quite simple, the way she makes use of "weak" strings makes her stronger. Using nets, eavesdropping, stitching, and even dodging attacks by unravelling. If I could get a stand, this would be the one. Its simple, but highly effective in the right hands.
Nah dude, The World is stronger than Star Platinum DIO lost because of a surprise attack/trap from Jotaro Both of them have high power, speed, and accuracy, but their abillities aren't "mindblowing" like other Stands (In my opinion btw)
@@katoshuu Yeah TS pretty busted, but automatic stands powers are so cool and interesting to utilize. They almost always have the upper hand against Star Platinum, then Jotaro pull that BS Time Stop 😤
12:33 OMG!! Now I see it! I never noticed that there were siluets in part 5, yet I did notice them very jarringly in part 6, definitely because they were a very much in the foreground
The best stand for me is kiss, already starting out strong with a terrific musical reference and an ability that offers both intriguing creative and destructive uses depending on when a sticker is added/removed. I also believe the stand’s design to be top tier especially the spelling of KISS down it’s torso.
Best stand in stone ocean has to be weather report, like dude alternate version of him can make people believe they are snails! Not only in the original form he was able to shape the weather to his needs, he also can choose its range (30 km away thats what wiki says). Pucci literally had to remove his sight to not be affected by heavy weather ability, also let's not forget that Emporio used weather report to kill pucci when he achived heaven. This really shows how strong this stand is!
I’m sorry but playing “Mystery Time” in the background draws my attention from what you are saying. I’m here getting emotional and appreciating how beautiful that track it
The best Stand is obviously Yoyoma. I’m a sucker for the “looks like an idiot, but actually is a ruthless assassin that plans everything out” trope. Also, he has a funny design, and I love him.
The best stand in Stone Ocean is C-Moon. It’s ties to gravity plays into Pucci’s plan very well, it’s design is a good evolution of the Green Baby, and the actual fight with it is super exciting. Both it’s actual attacks, and just the whole gravity flipped setting are sooooooo cool. Specifically when the road gets flipped. I’m so excited to see that part animated. Also, the resolution to the fight with the Möbius strip is awesome IMO.
It’s crazy how stubborn people in this comment section are about the CGI actually looking good. If you can’t accept that your show has flaws then what qualifies you to talk smack about other people criticizing it? And if your already gonna turn a blind eye on any flaws you’re “perfect” show has, than you might as well just ignore this entire video and move on with your life
Personally my favorite stand in part 6 is Jail House Lock because it had such a unique ability that was very interesting and could be used in many ways. It took a few rereads to completely understand what was happening, but hopefully in the anime adaptation they will make it easier to understand.
I think the best stand is Underworld. It has such a specific, yet very versatile ability and the design is simple yet appealing. The actual fight was very cool and, in the right hands, I believe underworld could be one of the most overpowered stands. Also, Underworld is a great band (btw Beaucoup Fish is their best album)
So, I'm a sucker for villain stands, so when pucci gets 3, I loved all of them. But if I had to pick a favorite, C-Moon's intimidating presence and controll over gravity won me over. Such a cool stand, and I hope the anime gives him justice
In my opinion, the best stand in Stone Ocean is Made in Heaven. Ayo, before anybody says that “aww, you just like popular overpowered stands” Hey, I have my reasons. I think the design is just so cool, silvery-white with a horse head protruding from its hips, with speedometers covering many parts of its body. Its power is the most terrifying power of any stand in the first 6 parts in my opinion. (Anime only spoilers obviously) Time stop, time rewind, time skip are all already crazy, but Made in Heaven’s power of accelerating time is just not the same. It creates an overwhelming environment where you literally have no control over, and you really can’t do anything to stop it, and can only watch the world being destroyed in front of your eyes. Lastly, the stands that evolve are always so intriguing in my opinion. They show the development in the story and the stand user. Pucci’s commitment and how much he believed he was the hero of the story throughout SO really fleshes it out. Some people might say that Made in Heaven is too overpowered or something, but that is fine! It was an absolute requirement for the heaven plan for Pucci. When Made in Heaven first came out, it was just so cool and makes the audience go “oh shoot, that’s not good”. It just made the final fight so intense for the audience. That is why I believe it is the best stand in Stone Ocean. It is the only stand that pushes the pain and despair for the Joestar group the furthest as of now, which is always so exciting to see how they will get out of the situation. Stands such as C-Moon and Heavy Weather are also such amazing stands, but I think Made in Heaven takes the cake for the uniqueness and overwhelming feelings of despair it makes both the Joestar group and the audience feel. (Made in Heaven by Queen is such a banger also) Anyways, enough of me, amazing video as always. I enjoy your videos as you are one of the few people that aren’t afraid to talk about your opinions, and discuss your thoughts about the show. I agree with basically most of your points, especially the overuse of Jolyne’s theme (lmao), I thought it was so overused sometimes it took away some seriousness from serious scenes making them kind of funny which breaks the flow a little. Stone Ocean is my favorite part but it has its flaws just like any other part, and yeah obviously nothing is perfect, I think you capture and discuss both sides of the argument very well.
The best stand in stone ocean is Stone Free. I really like how such a simple ability like a string get's developed into one of the most unique and versatile stands in jojo, definitely from the protagonist. I also like stone free's carefree yet cool and collected design, which fits jolyne very well. it's not the strongest stand in SO but it's neat as hell.
i used to be an anime only until i got the “end” of stone ocean to go read where the anime left off and to be honest i didnt even notice half the things you mentioned in the video so it didnt really ruin my viewing
Among all of the creative and unique Stand abilities created by Araki for part 6, one Stand outshines all the others. After carefully reviewing all of the stands of Stone Ocean, I have come to the conclusion that the stand of Enrico Pucci, Whitesnake, is the best Stand of the part. My reasoning is based on the Stand’s excellent fighting capabilities, the unique ability it holds, its evolution throughout the part, and finally the design. The first topic I would like to go over is Whitesnake’s fighting capabilities. although it is classified as a long range stand, it is strong enough to go up against many of the main group’s stand abilities, as seen throughout the manga. Pucci was even able to kill Weather Report, whose stand Heavy Weather is argued to be one of the most powerful stands out there. Next up are Whitesnake’s abilities. Along with the ability to create Stand and Memory Discs, Pucci’s stand also has the ability to create an “acid” of sorts, and induce realistic dreams on opponents. He is also able to disguise his stand, as seen when fighting FF. The ability to take someone else’s ability has obviously been done before in other media, however what makes Whitesnake’s version of this unique, is that he can bestow stolen abilities and memories to other people, and even temporarily remove abilities from himself, as shown when he blinds himself in the Heavy Weather arc. another factor that makes Whitesnake unique as a stand is its evolution throughout part 6. during the events of Stone Ocean, the stand evolves first into C-Moon, and then once again into its final form of Made In Heaven. What makes this different from other stands with “Acts” such as Koichi’s Echos, or Johnny’s Tusk, is that Whitesnake needed to meet certain criteria to evolve, such as following DIO’s instructions and using the bone to evolve into C-Moon, and then reaching the environmental conditions to evolve into Made in Heaven. the last argument for Whitesnake being Part 6’s best stand is its design. based off of Araki’s idea of an executioner, the stand’s design is also reminiscent of a stereotypical prison outfit, with the black and white color scheme and the striped pattern on its body. The inclusion of the “G∆CT” representing the components of DNA is also very cool. I hope that this explanation has helped to convince you as to why Whitesnake is the best part 6 stand!
WINNER!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I honestly think jumping jack spark's cgi just makes it more terrifying also I think white snake blends well

I completely agree. They completely skipped the part of the flashback where Dio rawdogs Pucci saying this is how you reach heaven.

literally unwatchable smh my head

Yeah I can’t believe they left out the gay sex part with dio and pucci it was one of my favorite parts in the manga along with the jolyne mastermastion part smh
for real very imposrtant to the story
I agree it felt a bit rushed compared to other parts, but the CG isn’t all that bad. If anything, we should learn to accept it because Part 7 is a transcontinental HORSE RACE. And while I can’t speak from experience, I know how difficult animating horses can be. So they’re probably going to use CG for the horses.
If the cg in part 7 is on par with the cg in part 6 so far then that's simply unacceptable honestly. It needs to he incorporated way better since it's gonna be a lot more prominent
@@kolanut the cg isn't bad man.
@@blaze6477 objectively speaking it could be incorporated a lot better. Even if you don't mind it surely you wouldn't want 70 episodes straight of it lol
@@kolanut of course there's not gonna be 70 episodes straight of it. They don't use it over 50% of any episode even.
But still the cgi sticks out like a sore thumb, they need to learn from one punch man season 2
Cmoon for me has the best design of the part
Exactly! I made a whole post agreeing with that idea!
agreed
Too bad it was introduced late and didnt have more time
@@GeorgeWockington01 I mean, makes sense he only be introduced later,he is the sub Boss after hall
I didn't mind the CGI, overall I didn't notice much and kinda liked it. I think it gave Stone Ocean a unique feel compared to the other parts. Although it probably could have done with an extra month or two especially the first episodes.
Eh, CG always felt kinda wonky in JoJo for me. A big example was in Part 4 with Shigechi riding Harvest.
Agreed
Me too, people seem to hunt 1-2 seconds of cgi to complain about how lazy it is etc
I find the client fine.
Must places it worked and I didn't care.
Except the lang rangler who just looked funky
its probably the best cgi in anime, atleast compared to berserk.
I don't think that the Netflix model needs to be. everywhere.
Netflix did it to baki. Now wants to gain money from Jojo
@@mrbruhtastic6482 i HOPE netflix doesen’t get the rights for part 7 and rush that too or I’m gonna kill myself
No. This season at best was acceptable. At worst it is awful. Season 1 is far better than this.
the best stand in stone ocean has to be whitesnake
the whole "i steal your powers" gimmick is done just about everywhere, but the way it's executed in stone ocean is just amazing to me
having it not only steal stands, but memories as well makes it even more of a huge threat than before, and also gives it a bit more variety and uniqueness rather than the usual ability-stealing ability
plus whitesnake gun
whitesnake's marksman ability best ability
It does more than just steal 2 disks (spoilers)
Personally I just love the entire (spoilers ahead) line of mih white snake and cmoon though cmoon is my favourite of them
@@diobrando7963 low key same. C-Moon is the coolest looking stand and has a decently powerful ability
🐌
That’s the same reason why I love abilities like Risotto’s Metallica or Ghiaccio’s White Album. They’re conventional abilities used in unconventional ways, controlling metal is now becoming invisible, reattaching body parts, and creating razors inside people’s bodies with their blood, and not just throwing cars or flying or some other boring ability
Amazing pfp. 10/10
In general I think both the backgrounds and music cuts have hindered the experience...
i remember everyone said it couldnt be ruined since netflix wasn't making it and I knew they would rush the order.... that upset me
@@DatBoiMikey Is this a common problem with Netflix anime content? Their western animated shows and live action series don't seem to be as rushed comparatively speaking. It weirds me out why they couldn't agree on a more reasonable release schedule with DP. People love JOJO. We would've been hyped had we had to wait an extra 3 or 6 months.
It's really sad to see how such an outstanding introductory arc like The Visitor didn't hit the same highs in the anime. Whereas an okayish arc like Black Sabbath was elevated in such an amazing way by DP.
@@zappandy i don't know how common it it,but the same thing happened with Baki

I recall Jojo Part 4 being especially bad on that front
@@Zantagor i see. so let’s say that someone who started jojo in 2021 and had watched the blue ray version (and since the person is used to watching a more cleaner, retouched version) would they find the initial, simulcast version odd?

honestly i can forgive White Snake being CG, because oh lord theres just NO way to animate such detailed character design without being limited, with stripes with letters all around his body , it was either gonna have been animated with CG, tweened puppets or non animated PNGs with some filters and effects on top
It's kinda like Cell in Dragon Ball Z. I guarantee if he appeared in animation nowadays, it would prolly be a similar case.

@@roberte.o.speedwagon9480 May the almighty lord above us and Father Pucci send their blessings and glad tidings upon you, oh blessed child. Amen.
It kinda has the same power as C-moon
Best stand in stone ocean is without a doubt weather report, stand user: Weather Report. It’s a completely busted ability with a cool design that has great symbolism when compared to white snake. They actually changed the fight for the better. I saw another commenter mention how Jolyn coming up with a play that fit within the parameters of the bet's rules (her saying the guard getting the ball counted as a catch) was something only done in the anime, and I think that really deserves a lot of respect on DP's part.

The best stone ocean stand is stone free. It’s ability is simple yet fleshed out. It is one of the most balanced stands. It also is diverse and allows some Joseph-like trickery. It's arguably better than Speed King, cus instantaneous tea. Why would you ever want to blow someone's artery up? But I would definitely want to have my tea when I actually want tea, and not a couple minutes later when the water is boiled but I don't want tea anymore. Insta S-tier
(in stone ocean)
@@ekkibas You can microwave food on the go so if you just want a quick hotpocket on your way to work the Speed King can help you with that
@@TerminaBroTheFirst can you tho? If I remember correctly, Speed King can only apply heat to a single point. Kind of like a lazer. It's a lot of heat, sure, but it's still very compact.
The reason why microwaves spin your food is that the heat has to be destributed evenly.
Is that like the foo fighter disk thing?
It's like sticky fingers but better executed (still people are blaming SF for being a stand device)
It can also use a gun, very amazing indeed
it can also control your memories, control you with the discs and extract and insert one of the five senses
@@marusdod3685 it can take any part of your soul/mind (senses, memories and stands)
And it can input certain commands that are hard wired into ur brain even if it is biologically impossible for you to do on your own (like how he made the frog explode)
I think Diver Down is the best. Just such a cool stand with so much potential, and a cool adaptable ability to match.
Made a whole video about it. It’s unfortunate that people think that way
You're stupid for not letting me have a neutral opinion on CGI, you know that?
@@TheShuckmeister I wish Netflix would stop buying stuff that doesn't belong to them
Fax. The comments on this video are disgusting.
Lang Rangler's (Jumpin' Jack Flash Stand user) theme is such a bop
Ermes theme is a banger tho
we seriously ignoring my guy pucci's theme?
All in all a great stand used very well in Part 6, if you ask me
HELL YEAH C MOON IS THE BEST
Heck yea! My favorite stabd
Stand
Definitely my top 10 favorite jojo stands of all time mainly because the power is so special and it's all around broken.
Honestly, I did feel like some moments could've been portrayed smoother or with more liveliness.
as an anime only i can really only say that I didn't catch the bad CGI on the first pass through but now going back and looking at it I can't agree with you more. using the CGI in places that make sense feels so much better than replacing the hand-drawn backgrounds, just hits diffy.
Except the stand itself is dumb as hell because it fooled its user in the manga

The best stand in Stone Ocean is CLEARLY Dragons Dream. One just has to awaken to their third eye to truly understand the subtle nuances and passion Araki poured into this fight. Also dragons are neat.
One of the best fights in Stone Ocean imo. I don't really know why most people dislike it.
@@nicmanthestickman indeed my sticky manned fellow
It's probably be way easier to understand once it's animated. That talking dragon head is pretty adorable imo
@@nicmanthestickman They think it is confusing, even if everything about the stand is clearly explained...

Now I understand that i haven't read much about the manga up until the F.F fight, but everything for me went up fine for the whole 12 episodes that I was able to binge in a whole day
Animation...man was I astonished about the whole art style, and yes I agree that CGI wasn't the best (looking at you Whitesnake) but really I didn't even notice scenes were really made out of pure CGI (piano scene and opening scenes used as an example) but I thought everything seemed to be fine.
That call out at 17:35. Lol sheesh kinda love it though.
Didn't notice these problems while watching part 6.
Probably cuz they aren't problems to begin with.
Part 6 is dope.
@XORRE not really, it's really not noticeable unless you pause every scene just to find a mistake.
@XORRE Hey man. If it helps you calling me blind. That's cool.

Manga Spoilers Ahead :
I think the best stand in Stone Ocean is probably Green Green Grass Of Home , the stand of the Green Baby , considering how it essentially makes the user invincible with no drawbacks .
@@bootlegsanesss You make a good point I didn’t consider Kiss
Kinda reminds me of Gojo from JJK
No that's offensive to ps2 CGI 😂.
The best stand in stone ocean is easily survivor. On a real note, I think survivor is underappreciated, and the fact that it made the inmates significantly stronger and like they just took bath salts, it would have good destruction potential if released on a crowd of people.
spoilers for anime only
@@newjescity Sorry, but I feel if youre reading through peoples favorite stand in a jojo part, and only a third of it has been animated, you're bound to get spoiled.
It only works if you don't care about anyone involved.
Weaker version of lovers
highway to hell doesn't share damage, if it did then Hermes would've killed herself
it reflects your suicide attempts on your opponents
Sadly, that's not how HtH works. It only reflects damage you inflict on yourself, thus how Hermes was able to beat him up with no issues. That's why pucci gave it to the suicidal McQueen, because he's the only one who would go all the way to kill his opponent
@@kylefreeburg9353 besides it reflects suicidal attempts so if u die firsty
I think people like this stand so much cause the user used it to the max
Exactly! its kinda like a air Oasis, and that stand was so underappreciated in part 5.
Best stand is Weather Report because he perfectly captures Weather's intentions and purpose. And his duality towards Whitesnake.
12:14 Honestly that did the exact opposite, I could only stare at the blank people
The best stand in Stone Ocean is Made in Heaven because of its ability, the way the ability ties to it's song lyrics, and because of what it did we would get Steel Ball Run after part 6.
"I'm taking my ride with destiny
Willing to play my part
Living with painful memories
Loving with all my heart"
"It was all meant to be,"
"Waiting for possibilities
Don't see too many around"
Sbr is not the reset universe
Well said
I think the best stand is stone free. The way Jolyne unravels her body is used in many creative ways. Also the sunglasses stone free is wearing makes it automatically the best stand
One of the first things I actively noticed them skipping was the hair dresser scene and Jolyne bribing the guards to keep her clothes.
to be completely honest i didnt even realize whitesnake had cgi scenes. probably just bc of his light color lmao
also my fav (and best) stand is crazy diamond. imagine having that thing irl, it legit makes me frustrated sometimes lol.
only hospital bills your family would have to pay for are yours
and if you were frustrated you could smash anything and then just fix it after, ezpz
I'm such a casual watcher of jojo, I've come to associate it with new and experimental and adventurous and unexpected. So the CGI choices to me didn't come across as rushed, it came off as an intentional artistic change. I feel like JoJo's reputation is that expect the unexpected
@XORRE how'd you know 😂
@XORRE aww dang man, caught me red handed
I feel as Jailhouse Lock is the best stand from SO. The arc itself is amazing and the concept sounds like it could be from part 8.
Jailhouse lock, huh?
It's a cool stand, agree
Um what it does again?
Ok, so it looks like a normal, humanoid figure.
It has two dagger like arms, and..
..
What were we talking about again?
I love it too
Its so cool
Wait what stand is it?
Not true My dad is Netflix he would never do that 😡
Also survivor is the best stand. A true underdog story going from the worst Stand to a real villain in jojo. Brings me to tears 😭
My favourite stand in stone ocean has gotta be whitesnake. The design is badass with the dna decals and his ability is really cool
Cum stand
For me personally, i really like, scratch that, love Manhattan Transfer. It's like very early in the manga and in the anime. It has no offensive moves on it's own, but if you use it right, it can be a very nice stand. How Johngalli A used that stand was for some reason "very satisfying". i feel like i said something wrong in that sentence but oh well. I still love the freakin stand. Being able to "sense" opponents with air currents??? And has a ridiculously long range? Man, it's just so cool
Manhattan Transfer is literally a Walmart bag floating in the parking lot.

It’s pretty broken and a little asspully, but stands are meant to be like that
You put so many of my thoughts i had abt the anime into this video, im glad its not just me.
Nah dude, The World is stronger than Star Platinum
DIO lost because of a surprise attack/trap from Jotaro
Both of them have high power, speed, and accuracy, but their abillities aren't "mindblowing" like other Stands
(In my opinion btw)
@@katoshuu I agree, Dio was much stronger than Jotaro in Part 3, though after his defeat Jotaro's Star Platinum was the "strongest" stand.
Yoyoma? More like Yo Yo Mama!
Yo mama
The best stand in Stone Ocean is C-Moon. It’s ties to gravity plays into Pucci’s plan very well, it’s design is a good evolution of the Green Baby, and the actual fight with it is super exciting. Both it’s actual attacks, and just the whole gravity flipped setting are sooooooo cool. Specifically when the road gets flipped. I’m so excited to see that part animated. Also, the resolution to the fight with the Möbius strip is awesome IMO.
tbh i was so happy about the fights and that chasing scene that i didnt notice the cgi
It’s crazy how stubborn people in this comment section are about the CGI actually looking good. If you can’t accept that your show has flaws then what qualifies you to talk smack about other people criticizing it? And if your already gonna turn a blind eye on any flaws you’re “perfect” show has, than you might as well just ignore this entire video and move on with your life
Not finished with it but I love ermes stand almost everytime its used it amazes me with how araki can do so much with such a basic stand idea
Netflix be like: Oh you say we rushed it????? Alright we'll make you wait until fall for the next batch.
Personally my favorite stand in part 6 is Jail House Lock because it had such a unique ability that was very interesting and could be used in many ways. It took a few rereads to completely understand what was happening, but hopefully in the anime adaptation they will make it easier to understand.
I would have to agree. Love that whole battle. The stand power is simple yet intricate
Netflix always ruined it, glad at least David know how to prevent it
They definitely tried
So, I'm a sucker for villain stands, so when pucci gets 3, I loved all of them. But if I had to pick a favorite, C-Moon's intimidating presence and controll over gravity won me over. Such a cool stand, and I hope the anime gives him justice
@Josuke Higashikata bro, I totally agree, but gravity manipulation is much cooler in my opinion
I feel wrong cause I really enjoyed stone ocean and binged all of the released episodes in one day and still wanted more
Why would you feel some sort of way? Maybe that's the only way you consumed Part 6. You like what you like.
You can have an opinion
Bro I would say the weather report it is so good it saved jolyne life and it's so frickin cool I love him he looks amazing too
In my opinion, the best stand in Stone Ocean is Made in Heaven. (Made in Heaven by Queen is such a banger also)
Anyways, enough of me, amazing video as always.
I also like stone free's carefree yet cool and collected design, which fits jolyne very well. it's not the strongest stand in SO but it's neat as hell.
i used to be an anime only until i got the “end” of stone ocean to go read where the anime left
off and to be honest i didnt even notice half the things you mentioned in the video so it didnt really ruin my viewing
Wow that’s looooong
