9:26 If my interpretation (and I think a lot of fan's interpretations) are correct, The Irene-verse is like the original without the influence of Pucci causing Part 6. This would mean that parts 1-5 happen effectively as it does normally. So Jotaro has his stand and has to deal with it to a degree, but the danger he and Irene are in is much less due to the lack of Pucci and Dio's remnants after Part 3
that´s how always saw it as well, parts 1 to 5 happened but with small changes, but the main themes of the joestar family happened, like joestars vs dio, joseph vs kars, josuke vs kira, giorno´s journey but Irene lives a normal life .
Pretty soild ending surprise that Jolyne was a good character and nice to see Jotaro again. Ending, Even those Joylne and her friends are gone and got replace by different versions of themself at least they get to rest from Dio's shenanigans.
Seeing Joylene legit stand up against an unstoppable force with no hope of winning, seeing Jotaro give up a chance to stop Pucci to save his daughter, Ermes and Anasui going above and beyond to do everything they can to help but seeing Emporio using Weather stand to deliver the final blow is well yeah a master piece. Everyone legit rather die to give someone else a chance to save the world is some heroic shit. Pucci was made to see Heaven but never meant to stay in heaven
That last line goes hard, I also like to point out that in the anime is pretty obvious the one beating Pucci up is not Emporio, but Weather's undying spirit giving him a last beatdown for all the shit he did not only to him, but also his friends, the manga makes is more ambiguous about it.
Yea, I like how that calls back to what Johnathan said at the begining: "I strive to be a true gentleman! There are times when a gentleman has to be courageous and fight, even when his opponent is bigger than he is and he knows he's going to lose!" Like, the first and last actions of a Joestar were to fight a stronger opponent they knew they were gonna lose to.
@@woodburn9539 I adore how Phantom Blood, though short and less outrageous than later parts, sets the central themes for the entire storyline that comes after it. Everything comes back to Jonathan, the heroic spirit of luck and pluck
On top of all that, it shows the huge contrast, the opposite poles that are the Joestars (and friends) vs Pucci. The Joestars are willing to give up their lives to protect the people they love, while Pucci considers himself above any kind of moral judgement, and will kill anyone that stands in his way in the name of a Greater Good, even killing his own family and allies.
Emporio with Weather Report’s DISC to fight off Pucci was so damn good to the point that Weather technically kills Pucchi which would make their final fight a fight of brothers
@@ShirouBrando ? You talking about Jotaro and "Irene"/jolyne? Yes that is true. But I was talking about the weather forecast/ father Pucci relationship. (Brothers) Not jotaro and Jolyne.
Don't let the ending of part 6 distract you from the fact that even in the new universe diavolo is still dying over and over again. Araki you're one evil bastard lol
Is he though? If everyone that died during the acceleration is replaced in the new universe, then Diavolo would be replaced too, since he also has to die during the acceleration. The replacement would live a different live and probably wouldn't encounter requiem.
@@ShirouBrando But he would also have died during the acceleration, which would replace him with someone simmilar, living a better life most likely. Unless he infinitely dies somewhere outside of time, which is possible with GER and the concept of infinity and whatnot. That could potentially also mean that every universal reset would add 1 Diavolo to the list of infinitely dying Diavolo's. So we might just have infinite infinitly dying Diavolos.
After having watched the last part of Stone Ocean all the way through, I think the use of the Round About outro by itself automatically made it my favorite ending for a part.
It’s amazing how depressing this ending makes you feel when you realize that all the alternate universe versions of the main cast all have OBJECTIVELY BETTER lives. They’re free from fate and the constant threat of dio and Pucci, and are all not in prison and living happy lives.
yeah emporio really got a fate worse than death. Having to basically make friends with all these people all over again but they're also all different in some honestly really unsettling ways, and since the original souls are literally gone, its almost as if you're betraying the originals.
@@noobyish the way I see it, the originals sacrificed themselves so that the new versions could live better lives. In that way, they didn't go through all that hell for nothing
@@msbkaioken136 it is weird cause Jotaro is the big question mark in the "everyone that dies by pucci during reset is replaced and not carried over" cause then it has one wonder how much of Irene's dad is Jotaro? Wouldn't he have a better life aka free from Joestar curse aka not having to deal with Dio? But then if the answer is YES, it raises more questions of "Ok but did Dio still do his bullshit, did Jonathan have a bizarre adventure, did he win and it all got ended in Wind Knight's Lot, what about the stone mask, wouldn't they pillarmen still awaken, would Joseph have his adventure still and mentor Jotaro later?" Well at least if you're an obsessive fan like me who enjoys over thinking, these questions get raised lol
I don't understand why people hate the ending. It's actually a really happy ending. Edit: Its not really a "happy" ending. It's more of just a really good conclusion. All the alternate characters get to live normal lives.
Some people prefer a genuinely sad/dark ending while others may not like the fact that everything in part 6 that happened is gone due to pucci dying/being removed etc. I'm personally fine with the ending tho.
They literally removed Pucci from existence, thus preventing everyone's lives from becoming awful. I had issues with the part 6 manga with how bloated it could feel at times, but I still think that the ending is probably the best out of all the mainline universe parts.
The ending was perfect it's a shame there are a ton of people who didn't know the last batch dropped I hope David productions never does batch releases again
@@unlucky971 What could've been talked and hyped about every week ends up being watched and forgotten overnight. It might be good for some shows, but with JoJo literally being an anime built in hype, it ain't really a good idea. Good thing they released the last batch for Stone Ocean quicker, that's better than waiting for several months.
i feel like this misses what makes the ending hit so hard. emporio is the only one to remember the events of stone ocean. he has lived his whole life in prison and had long lived friendships with annasui and weather, as well as bonding with jolyne and ermes throughout the part. at the end, he is suddenly dropped into a wonderful world, where all the problems that led these people to befriend him are washed away, and they can finally be free from the curse of fate. but none of them remember him, and without the curses they held in the original universe, they are vastly different people. emporio is thrust into a world completely foreign to him that knows nothing of him, with the only thing for him to connect back to the life he once knew being his name -- emporio. the ending makes the final breaking of the joestar curse that began in part 1 into a bittersweet conclusion and does so in a way that no one would have guessed. it's the perfect way to end jojo's bizarre adventure.
Yes. With existence comes hardships. To negate that is kinda copping out. I see it a creating a new universe, not rewriting an old one. & in THIS one, our analog characters have a happy existence w/o stands. But why are they happy? Where was the struggle? Enter parts 7 & 8 to show how THIS universe plays out.
@@piesmuggler7268 that would further emphasize multiverse theory. Meaning Araki could make a JoJo part featuring Ninjas, Pirates, Steampunk, or Cyberpunk with Stands! Why stop at just one? The western was one of the best.
@@grimdaggz Lol, you should probably read part 7. It 100% confirms multiverse theory. Though, idk if any of those themes are likely as of yet, as it would require another universe reset which currently isn't really needed. I do definitely recommend reading part 7 and 8 though, as they are by far 2 of the best parts in the series, with part 9 being dropped soon
It's bittersweet only for Emporio. For us is mainly a happy one lol, a little bit bittersweet for the Part 6 gang but we still have the og Jotaro and the rest of the people in the other parts.
The ending of Stone Ocean is like being hit by 100 trains and going 100 miles per hour on a rollercoaster at ONCE. It left me speechless because everything that I didn't think would happen HAPPENED all at once. Like damn. That's peak.
The ending literally gave the part 6 cast their greatest wishes with no pucci. irene (jolyne) seemingly has a good relationship with her father and has a boyfriend who genuine loves her, jotaro gets to be with his family, anakiss (anasui) gets to date and maybe marry jolyne along with potentially jotaro's blessing, eldis (ermes) mentions her sister in a way that implies she's alive, and weather shouldn't have pucci taking his memory, and they all meet together anyways thanks to fate, so they literally got the ultimate happy ending.
You can keep that going with the other parts too, the ED shows dead characters living along with Fugo sitting in the boat. Emporio gave everyone their happiest ending not just the part 6 crew
@@SpencerCJ No, the other characters from previous parts don't come back. The ED is anime-only, just to pay homage to the previous parts since the OG universe saga is complete.
My only question is how does Pucci’s non-existence cause Anasui’s name to change? Jolyne->Irene makes total sense to me (symbolizes her no longer being chained to the bloody fate of being a “JoJo”) anyway
@@emblemblade9245 probably just to signify this is a new universe. Also butterfly effect. And I like to think the "Kiss" represents that anasui finally gets to be with the love of his life, just as jolyne is free from the joestar curse.
Also, changing the ED for the finale was probably the highlight for me, since I wasn’t anime-only. It is going to be weird since Manga-only for part 6 would have a bittersweet impression due to the “Wonderful world” ending while anime-onlys now get a kinda part 1-6 hype ending.
I wish they would've added that crazy Pucci pose that they skipped. And there was a scene in Heavy Weather that was also cut out. They cut out some stuff that I don't think needed to be cut but aside from that, it was great.
My take: Emporio saw all his friends die, and they are still gone. But now he gets to see them again, not as they were, but as new free souls. He can't believe what he is seeing and must be literally thinking "Is this Heaven"?
Other small things I like about the ending: Pucci abuses Jolyne's and Jotaro's need to protect their friends and family in almost every encounter, (uses Jolyne to steal Jotaros disk, puts Jotaro's disk in Anasui to escape Jolyne and in the final fight he uses Jolyne to kill all of them. I bet there are more examples like this). In the end it's the group protecting each other with ends with emporio killing Pucci with Weather's disk. That leads to them having better lives in the new world (I think that universe was not something they could predict, but it's sort of a meta reward for the sacrifices they made). Pucci only loses because of his obsession with ending all of them, even the kid. Eve he didn't do it he would succed in his and DIO's plan, with the only loose end being Emporio (Which leads me to believe that even if Pucci died, if it had happened after the Cape Canaveral date it would be irreversible). I feel like this idea shows up in JoJo a lot. Only those fully focused on their goals and ideas get to triumph. Any time you are unsure or look strafe from the direct path to your goal you get beaten by the person with the stronger resolve. As long as Pucci's goal was to fulfil DIO's plan, he would win, or at least escape the group. But once he got too invested in killing every single one of them, he lost. End this is a very small thing but it required an outside force, that being Emporio, to fully break the Jostar curse. Jostars caring about others is what saved them.
What you said about being beaten by the person whose fully invested in their own goal , is basically Gyro and Diego's rivalry for the first half of part 7 lol
I love the fact that a non-Joestar achieves the final victory. Joestars are champions of the human spirit, so it’s fitting that the spirit they champion would keep fighting even after they fall.
From how I see it the gravity or fate kept the past the same overall, meaning the Jostars still fought the same people and stuff, but at Jolene the "curse" is broken and the fate is changed, meaning she no longer has to fight pucci, and everyone can live happily ever after
Basically everything from Part 1-5 remains same, but the curse of Dio was severed in the events of Stone Ocean since Pucci no longer exist. As Pucci have said it himself, small details might be different but whatever's bound to happen will happen. So there might be little things that are different in the events that happened in previous parts, but the results should remain the same.
Same. Don't think I've ever come close to crying while watching Jojo. But I couldn't help it with that final scene of Emporio discovering the alt versions of the crew.
I personally can't be happy because the ones who got a happy ending are "fakes". Alternate versions that are similar but aren't really the characters we've come to know and love. which makes it even sadder.
Diavolo’s tie-in to the totality of the villains was his Stand ability to see his future and plan accordingly to it. This goes back to Pucci creating a universe where everyone having knowledge of their fate predestined.
I feel like Jotaro didn’t really expect made in heaven to be a huge problem. Like he probably expected it to be a problem but not one that could reset the universe.
true. in a lot of animes it would be a training arc for jotaro the hiatus between dio's or kira's fight and this one, to the point he'd be able to stop time like a minute or so... but thats not the point with JoJo's, power scales dont matter, he is not god and a know-it-all, so he had no clue that his 5 seconds the world would be useless against such a foe. great arc. and he remained calm and bad tempered (in a good way) until the end calling anasui crazy why are u telling u r gonna marry my daughter you nuts haha
What I like about pt 6 is that Puccis victory wasn't neccisaraly plot armor. He was protected by Fate itself. Id like to think as soon as pucci had murged with the green baby, fate was not only on his side, but was almost taken hostage by him. Whilst throughout the Jojo series the joestars we're brought together with a similar foe influenced by the past, aswell as attracting eachother to protect one another, it suddenly became pucci with this favor from fate. Attracting dios children by fate/gravities flow. With everything that happened. Every moment that pucci had escaped the impossible. It was because fate was on his side. Not because fate wanted to. But because fate was forced to. With the joestars still being integral to fates favor, but ultimately leading to fates true favor, pucci. In the end the joestars we're the ones to help pucci make it to heaven. However. Fate isn't a willing captive. That's why as soon as pucci screws up. Once he knows all fates. And being able to be the only one outside of fates influence. Fate waited for pucci to screw up. And as soon as he did.... As soon as he put the disc in emporios head... It held back no punches. That's why In the end, fate rewards the joestars. For freeing it. And gives them a new life where they don't have to fight anymore. Dare I say, their no longer under the influence of gravity or fates grand ambition. And they can finally rest and be happy. And that's why I think pt 6s ending is so perfect.
What people fail to realize is that this was DIO's plan all along. To control fate, or rather, to become fate itself. His plan to achieve "heaven" is not altruistic at all, he pretty much intended to enslave all living beings by controlling their very fates.
Honestly, this makes me glad that I gave Part 6 another read before the anime came out. So, now I can appreciate all of the themes and ideals Araki implemented into the part.
I'm glad that all of stone ocean has been animated cause it's by far one of my favorite jojo parts so far, also the fact that SOME part 7 fans will finally stop telling people to skip part 6 cause it isn't as good as part 7.
honestly, I actually prefer stone ocean to part 7, although their aiming for different things and I do like the western style of part 7. But damn bro, jojolion made everyday feel like a summer vacation.
That was in essence Jolyne, Ermis, Weather, and Anastasia at the end, they just had different lives and names but it was truly them with their original personalities and souls intact. They all met again and became friends with other because it was fate.
Yeah, exactly, it was still the originals and not some new copies like some people think. The fact that they are fated to meet again is proof they are the same souls. You can even think of the reference to "what a wonderful world" to further imply its still the original universe and not a new one. Since the song is about how OUR world is so wonderful despite everything, its not about how there is some OTHER world that is better, but our own. So in that same way the ending of SO is about how the OG world is still wonderful.
It'd be nice if we got a novel or spinoff where we can just check in on all our friends in the Irene verse and see how their lives are, I wonder how emporios doing
irene and anakiss are dating and maybe get married with jotaro's blessing, who himself gets to live with his family, eldis (ermes) sister is alive, weather report likely doesn't have his memories removed and their all probably good friends, along with emporio.
Let's not overlook how thematically satisfying the ending is even just within the context of Part 6. Pucci *wins*. He achieves heaven and kills off the Joestars so he's able to restart the universe without their interference. He does this because, unlike every other villain in Jojo, he's motivated by something other than selfishness. Every other villain is driven by an inward desire for power, or fear, or their own primal urges, and are undone by the righteousness of the Joestars. But Pucci *believes* in something. He's a fanatic and he's not out for himself except in so far as he needs to be alive for the plan to work. He doesn't even care if he dies as long as it's after Cape Canaveral because then Heaven still occurs. It's that belief that allows him to finally overcome what every other villain hasn't been able to escape. But then there's Emporio. The monkey wrench in his plans from the beginning. The one bug he was never able to properly isolate, and the only wrinkle he couldn't figure out. But what's he supposed to do? He's just a kid with a non-offensive Stand. But he has memories. He knows what happened in the prior universe, so Pucci can't just let him go. So he stops time acceleration and goes in to finish him off. Except he's not just a kid anymore. He's carrying the hopes and dreams of his friends from the first universe, and more importantly, he has Weather Report. The Stand of Pucci's his own brother whom he twice over betrayed and then murdered, the stand fueled by Weather's rage, the Stand powerful enough to end all life on Earth. Weather Report is the *only* Stand in Part 6 that Pucci is afraid of. When he sees Weather Report in the Ghost Room, he's gripped with panic. And that's made worse when Emporio turns it on and oxygenates the room. It's then why we realize it could *only* be Weather Report, because Weather Report controls the environment. Jolyne knew this. Pucci can move fast a bullet, but only because his movements themselves are accelerated. If Pucci can't move at all, then he's powerless, and that's what happens. His panic scenario is fully realized, and he's reduced to begging for his life only to die gruesomely, with his last thought being that everything he did was undone. Pucci is the original continuity's ultimate plotter, and it's extremely satisfying for his end to be seeing his plots unravel moments before a slow, grisly death at the hands of his brother's Stand, operated by the dumb kid he'd disregarded, who had been saved and them armed for this as the last act of his nemesis from the universe he'd obliterated.
The ending of part 6 didn’t bring the universe of part 7. Both had always existed separately and aren’t related to each other outside of the similarly named characters
Excellent analysis, has caused me to rethink some aspects of the ending. It’s such a beautiful finale that is unbelievably tragic yet wonderfully happy at the same time. Definitely some of my favorite writing of all time.
IVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR SO LONG. People only hate on stone oceans ending because its a bitter ending where the heros don't win, but from a story standpoint it's so beautifly made.
@@kingace6186 kinda. But since it's not even the same characters as the ones we were watching the entire time it kinda just comes off as emporio getting completely mind fucked for the rest of his life.
@@L_Giancarlo yeah it was a mind f*ck for me plus i was hoping jolyne would be the one to defeat pucci like how the other jojos got to defeat thier main enemy well accept for jonathan; he got it way worse and will admit was dissapointed when he lost aswell until i proceeded to watch the series so his death makes sense. I guess it just takes time to let somthing sink in.
@@L_Giancarlo It is LITERALLY the same characters though, they never died, and their souls still remain in them. That is the whole point of killing Pucci, it undoes his stand's effect and therefore returns the world back to where it was because his stand didn't finish. The only reason that the world is different than before is because Pucci is the only one to die in his world before its undone, so his soul is stuck there while it ceases to exist. Then the old world has to fill in the missing soul with a fake that has no real agency of its own and is a slave to fate, much like the fake Jotaro and Jolyne in Pucci's world (who also looked different, further implying they aren't the same souls, but Irene is). Because Pucci essentially no longer exists, his influence on the lives of all the Part 6 cast never happened. So even though its the same universe as before, the timeline changed so that Jotaro could spend time as Jolyne's father rather than fight Pucci's hired assassins, and him being a bigger influence in her life is likely why she got a different name, perhaps he wasn't even around enough to choose it himself. That's why its the nicest ending as none of the cast died and they are living their best lives.
Great video! You haven't mentioned the fact that every main character got his problems solved, Ermes's sister is alive (you can interpret that based on the way she talks and say things at the final scene), Jolyne got a good relationship with her father and probably they aren't divorced, Annasui got to marry jolyne and Weather killed Pucci.
I don't think Weather kills Pucci. My interpretation was that Pucci, as we knew him, was removed from this universe alltogether. This could mean a number of things. His replacement could have been just been a kinder person and had a good relationship with Dominic. The baby that ended up dying in the other mother's arms might not have died this time around. Everything might have played out like usual, but Pucci nevee meets DIO, or has no reason to pursue his goals. Or Weather never meets Pucci's sister and has no reason to have a feud with his replacement.
Also did anyone notice the themes of what happens to all antagonists after part 4? Kira: wants to live a private secret happy life Also kira: becomes known all across Morioh as a perverted sick murderer. Diavolo: only wants the result of his victory. Also diavolo: never reaches the result of death☠️ Pucci: wants to wipe the joestar bloodline out of existence Also pucci: gets wiped out of existence himself🗿
Pucci destroyed and remade his soul when he fused with the green baby. So when he died there was no original remnant of his soul to be reborn from like everyone else. So chances are pucci just faded from existence.
it's such a bittersweet ending because even though you could say they are "technically the same people", they really are not. memories make us who we are and they were robbed of those (both good and bad). it's even worse for emporio as the only one who remembers everything.
Yeah, that is my thinking. The friends he knew are gone, and he's left with people who look and sound like them, but they have had an entirely different life leading up to that point. It would be like a loved one waking from a coma only to find they have no memory of you or the life they shared.
this is the one of the greatest ending ever in fiction. it hits on so many level. this ending invoked so many feelings when i read it. it took me time to understand it and come to terms with it. it was the best possible conclusion for the characters. it was risky narrative decision, but it paid off at the end.
I'm glad they didn't mention Giorno in the anime adaptation because that aside in the comics got my hopes up a little high for a Giornus Gex Giovachina. Every page I was reading, I was on the edge of my seat, expecting Giorno to pop in and save everyone.
That ending did something quite unique to me, to made me cry out of joy. Not from a character death, which is usually a good way to get my eyes balling. Also, I was already starting to really like Emporio, especially with Jolyne's being like his big sister, so I was sad to not get more of him, but that ending elevated him even more for me; I'll just say it, Emporio is best boy.
Honestly the only complain for the part 6 adaptation aside from the release schedule, is how they skipped emporio's past and never shown apart from like a pucci quote... I think that was a big missed opportunity but it still gets under my skin seeing emporio cry at the end :)
Oh, really? What was Emporio's past? All the anime covered was that he was born in the prison and that his mother got killed by Pucci. There was something about a bone tho.
@@kingace6186 ye I dont remember it since it's been a while uve read stone ocean but I remember the bone is emporio's mother and it was used to not be completely stuck by white snakes ability. Sorry might update you later on that ^_^
@@kingace6186 It’s been a while but I think the ghost room was explained as originally being a real room within a building where Green Dolphin is now, but it burned down and I think Emporio‘s mom was in it and died in the fire. If I remember correctly Emporio stayed in the room when it reappeared as part of his stand, but then the prison was built and the room just kinda exists within it now. I could be misremembering some details tho.
Funny how the Netflix version of the chapter, it's named, "It's a wonderful world", I think it holds some sort of weight in the way that not being a rival to DIO anymore or fighting lackies anymore and being able to just life in a way makes it a wonderful world, and a wonderful life.
I know people will rag on Part 6 being bad. Part 6 came at a time where araki has said he felt like he ran into a creative block and having shuiesha coming down on him for ratings. Part 6 was suppose to be the very end of Jojo, he wanted no more jojo. The ending was actually changed from his original outlined ending. David production did a damn good job staying faithful to the material and adding a heck of a lot of passion to all the Jojo OPs and EDs. When roundabout started it hits you, a decade long journey and struggle has ended
Nice video and a few things about Stone Ocean’s ending that needed to be stated are (at least, in my opinion): 1. The alternate universe the Steel Ball Run and Jojolion take place is not the same as the one at the end of Part 6, it’s just an entirely new one that also has Stands but the Pillar Men and Hamon are replaced with Rock Humans and the Spin. This is apparently a very giant misconception about those parts. 2. Parts 1 - 5 (Phantom Blood - Golden Wind) still happen as they did in Part 6’s new universe, as illustrated by the godtier ending in the anime, just the events of Stone Ocean and Pucci never existed in the world, thus making the lives these reborn variants of the cast far better than before. 3. That also means that Joseph (as confirmed to still be alive in Stone Ocean by Araki), Josuke, and Giorno (also talked about by Araki) are somewhere around in the new world. Josuke never appearing again in the series despite being Araki’s favorite character is due to Araki wanting to end the story of Morioh perfect and intact while Giorno was stated to possibly be in Florida due to Pucci’s gravity but left vague.
I'd say one thing Pucci and Diavalo have in common. Their obsession with fate. Diavalo has the ability to "Skip time" and what this means is that for some time, he can predict the future and dodge his own fate if hes in a fated prediction. Allowing him to somewhat defy the narrative that fate has laid out for him. Diavalo's ability likely developed in a way that can quell his anxietys about his own fate, that being king crimson. Pucci's many abilitys also reflect this, with white snake being able to keep the memorys of others much like how he is haunted by the memorys of her sisters death, Later after Pucci is pretty much mentored by DIO, he starts to understand and see what DIO was trying to do and is ready to embody the plan because of his obsession with fate, which then lead to him developing his stand into C-Moon, and then finally Made in Heaven. Which are both abilitys that have to do with time and gravity, which are comparable to fate, because gravity and time determine the "Where" and "When" of an event. The Only difference between these two characters is their approach, Diavalo wants to dodge fate, while Pucci wants not just him but everyone else to embrace it.
The ending to Stone Ocean genuinely made me cry so, so, so hard. Such a beautiful ending, man. Seeing Jolyne and all of her loved ones free of the Joestar curse and free to finally live a happy life devoid of their dark fate is the perfect conclusion. Also, being the hopeless romantic I am IRL I developed a huge liking toward Anasui, so hearing that he became Jolyne/Irene's boyfriend after the events of Made in Heaven just, honestly, made me cry even more. I was so happy for all of them lmao
For me, the ending was incredibly bittersweet, but I wasn't crying. Weirdly enough, I was smiling... And when we got to the "My name is Emporio" part, I was laughing. IDKY but I was so joyful and happy. It was a bittersweet happiness, but I was still filled with joy. It even almost felt like a happy ever after.
Actually, Rohan was mentioned during the finale when they were showing that random manga artist who couldn't keep up with the deadlines, he receives a call in which he's told that there's one person who can keep up with the deadlines - Kishibe Rohan. I think that was a nice little detail.
the fact that stands are actually evil spirits blew my mind. the best part of stone ocean ending is the philosophical question about "are the characters alive or dead?", "are those characters the one we knew or are completely different things?", "is this a good or a bad ending?".
For me it's a bittersweet ending. Not my favorite way to end shows but one I do like. Even though our heroes won by passing on the torch of hope on to the future they are still dead. The new universe that was made is close to being them but they are not the same people anymore no matter how they look or act compared to their past lives. Its an alternate universe where they are happier but the ones you saw go through the journey of hardship are no longer with us
Actually its not a new universe in the end, its still the old one. By killing Pucci it prevents his stand from being active and thus unable to finish its new universe, because of that there is nothing keeping his new universe being made and since there isn't a stand around to make another new universe, then the old one continues on as it was before. Except for one major change, Pucci's soul is now no longer around as it was left behind in his universe while it becomes nonexistent, essentially having never been made because his stand is dead alongside him. The Universe is still the old one, but slightly altered in its timeline, so the Souls of the Part 6 gang are around still, and because they died by Pucci, they now have no reason to be dead and thus aren't, and more importantly their lives are different depending on Pucci's influence on it, and so they get to live the best lives they can because Pucci was the cause of all their problems. To further prove its still them they all meet up at the end, this is to show that its the same souls and therefore fated to meet because they already did and that's how Fate works, they are where they left off before the reset as well thus the universe has corrected the problem, and everything has come full circle. Furthermore, Jolyne is still the same person because she looks the same as she did before, in Pucci's universe her and Jotaro looked different because they were replaced with fake souls to fill in the gap, but because this is the OG universe their souls are around so there is no gap, and they can continue to be the same persons. Perhaps in a similar way Pucci is replaced by a fake soul that has no agency or Will and is a sleeping slave to fate, and therefore never becomes anything of importance. Hopefully that is enough to convince you!
Ironically, I think, if Pucci didn't involve Jolyne, he would've won. If Pucci found another way to lure out Jotaro he could've won because he wouldn't have to go against Jolyne and her allies but since he only viewed Jolyne as an expendable tool and not the threat he came to realize she was, he lost because by the time he realized that Jolyne was a threat to his plans it was already too late as she had already made up her mind of what she needed to do. Edit: Another minor detail that sort of supports my analysis (I guess) is The alternate Jolyne Design and its motif around wasps. Wasps are typically seen as pests and aren't typically celebrated as anything good in America. Pucci realizes that Jolyne was a threat but he was too arrogant to view her as anything more than a pest.
I think adding jolyne helped pucci because jotaro cared for his daughter...obvious... but jotaro was invincible and downright would of destroyed pucci with ease without jolyne...i think killing emporio mother was what doomed pucci
@@ericfisher9513 I suppose so but then again, I don't think Emporio would've had the confidence nor the bravery to actually act against Pucci without Jolyne. Emporio views Jolyne as a sort of older sister figure (hell I'd even go so far as to say he views her as a mother figure) and it was definately Jolyne who inspired confidence in Emporio.
AMAZING VIDEO METAS. The Quality of your work has DEFINITELY improved! Araki saying that the Main Theme of JoJo is "Humanity" or "An Ode to Humanity" still rings true and makes you really think deeper than just the bizarre aspects of the series. Ever since Part 1: Phantom Blood, The Joestars (in their entirety) and everyone that allies with them have been fated/cursed to fight the overwhelming evil of the world. Dio Brando, Kars & the Pillar Men, DIO, Yoshikage Kira, Diavolo, and even Enrico Pucci represent people who LACK "Humanity/The Human Spirit" in a spiritual sense, so much so, that characters like Iggy (A Dog) and F.F. (A Colony of Plankton) carry much more humanity than those that are human in flesh. Many characters that we have grown to care for and love were just ripped from us at untimely times (The Zeppelis, Kakyoin, Avdol, Iggy, Shigechi, Aya, Bruno, Narancia, Abbachio, F.F., Weather, and etc.) because they were just allies to the Joestars, not even actual family. Despite all of JoJo's wackiness and bizarre nature, the story details a tragedy of a bloodline that are basically "drafted child soldiers" to fight a battle they never asked for and have their entire lives ruined for it. However, Part 6: Stone Ocean's ending finally said "Yeah, that's enough" and gave us a bittersweet ending where all of the main cast have better lives, free from Pucci, and by proxy, DIO's influence, and the curse to fight DIO's legacy finally ends after his death. Parts 1-5 happen the same way they do but now, the Joestars finally get to live normally like the rest of humanity. WE WON! THE HUMAN SPIRIT WON OVER THE OVERWHELMING EVIL OF THE UNIVERSE! It is TRULY a Wonderful World, but good and bad because when you really think about it, Life is just one big, bizarre adventure!
The ending was so good! Even though Netflix did the series dirty, I feel that the story got a good ending, and Roundabout as the outro theme just killed it!
You just made me realize that Part 6 is sort of a Stand singularity, like the Quirk singularity they keep talking about in My Hero Academia. You reach the point of warping reality and there’s not much further else to go (unless you count Eyes of Heaven of Jorge Joestar).
Just finished stone ocean tonight here in January after pushing it off. Fucking thrilling as shit. I watched all the parts of jojo, part 1 through part 5 back in 2020, fell in love with Jojos at that time. Ig stone ocean being released on Netflix sorta threw me off in 2021/22 at first, made me not wanna watch it. Took me up until recently to give it the go, I dont regret it. Ig I was just salty that I missed out on the JoJo Friday days everyone was talking about, I wanted to experience that with Stone ocean but oh well. Also hearing Roundabout as the outro at the end of Stone Ocean Literally made me scream and made me shed a few tears ngl, idk why.
A father’s decision. The world, or your child. Knowing your child will die if you don’t act soon, but if you choose your child, the worlds fate is sealed. Knowing the worlds fate is sealed, & knowing that if the world is over, there’s no chance for your child to survive regardless. Still, you choose your child, over the world. Because your child, is your world. & what is a world worth saving, if it means the death of your child. & alas, Jotaro saves Jolyne instead of killing Pucci. Jotaro is the Goat. This show is the goat
i think that a better definition of how pucci represents diavolo would be saying that in the earlier parts of part 6, the main gang was entirely unaware of who whitesnake's user was, and it was still a large mystery up until the torrential downpour warning arc. a large part of diavolo's character in part 5 was keeping his identity hidden, and erasing any traces of his past that could lead giorno and the rest of passione to him. this reasoning could also be used as a representation of kira, as the best descriptor for kira would be "someone trying to lead a quiet life." pucci didn't want to have to start any sort of conflict with jolyne, and was hoping to have his plan executed without any mishaps, but fate was on his side with every turn in the road, including the birth of the green baby, his fusion with it, and the birth of c-moon and made in heaven.
What I really loved about Stone Ocean was that it showed Jojo's 'Golden Spirit' isn't something that's inherited through blood, but is a ideal that influences other normal people to rise against the forces of evil. Emporio's line 'Walking the path of Justice is fate itself' is what the entire series is about, and it was executed in such a perfect way.
i think that pucci's connection to diavolo could be that he wanted to rule over the new universe and shape his own fate, just like diavolo in how he pursues anyone who challenges his "eternal reign". and just like how diavolo tried to kill giorno instead of fleeing, pucci tried to alter his fate by killing emporio instead of letting fate run its course. i do remember that pucci said to emporio he would happily give his life after the universe resets again, but I think he was just lying because if he really prioritized getting to heaven instead of quashing his enemies, he would have let emporio live
I also think the the ending is perfect, though my interpretation is pretty different and probably an odd one. It's fascinating that Araki chose America as Part 6's setting, even with Jotaro having a family here, of all places. Well, as weird as his mother moved to Japan, at least. But having America as the setting seems to drive the point: Freedom. America is the poster child for liberty and is known to hold it very dearly, even at their own expense, for example when the anime / manga shows a random biker not wearing a helmet while the narrator explains that in Florida it's not illegal for bikers to not wear helmets, then end the episode with a traffic accident sound. Stepping backwards to preserve freedom looks stupid in a short glance, but admirable. And part of this freedom is to not be forced to know fate, which is a tangible thing in the JoJo universe. Knowing what must happen sounds reassuring, but where is the fun of it? Plus, in several instances in JoJo fate can be fought back or at least turned into your favor. Pucci's Made In Heaven effect, everyone knowing their inevitable fate without their consent, strips out that freedom of not knowing, which isn't pretty for one's desire to fight it back, or perhaps deeper implications considering JoJo's fate system factors in knowing the upcoming fate itself. Sounds like American's nightmare: communism, where everything is controlled, and no one is allowed to do their own thing. The way communism is enforced is also known to be callous and heartless, which is reflected in Pucci's tactics: He punishes people for not doing what he likes, manipulating the Joestars' kindness, pretty much killing innocents on his way, really. Because it's for the greater good. Jolyne is the opposite: She teams up, befriends foes, which admittedly sounds like a stupid shonen trope, but it benefits both of them in the end. Reflected in the ending, the care and sacrifice shown to each other which led to the team's demise aside of Emporio, led Emporio to victory. In a way, Stone Ocean seems like Araki's way to show his admiration for America's stubbornness to keep their liberty at all cost.
Agreed! The ending for Stone Ocean was so amazing. It shows all the screens from each Parts (Phantom Blood - Stone Ocean) and they even used the original ending song from Phantom Blood/Battle Tendency.
I must say, i understand it before, but now i understand more of the true meaning behind the ending. That the Joestars now basically free is an ending that all of them deserves. However it makes me a little bit sad, that this time the Arrows has no special Requiem like appereance, because i love this concept and had my own wild theories, however i was certain there are not real. I thought it would be cool ifthe Meteorites, that created the Stands in the first place and wich were crafted into the Arrows are basically the "Babys" of an alien species. They are parasites that go into a symbiosis with the stand users. And as long as they not fully evolved, they have no own will and must follow the will of the user. But when they evolve to a requiem that changes and they are totally evolved, dependend on the willpower of their users. Polnarefs willpower wasnt strong enough, so chariot requiem was a very primitive lifeform. But Golden Experience Requiem was evolved out of Giornos strong will to win against Diavolo and rule over the entire Mafia to bekome the Gang-Star. But based on that, the concept of Requiem could've evolved and the real stands out in space couldve been attracted through this mysterious forces, that let the stand users often run into another. That could be a very interesting part, the Original Space Stands against the currently alive jojo bloodline! But yeah, because of the fact that my theory is so complicated, it was absolutely impossible that this could be true. But it would be a very nice fanfiction, if someone could write the original characters in a realistic way and could create a new and unique Jojo that fight the Space Stands. For everyone who has read this far, here is a cookie for you (ˆڡˆ)◞🍪
I loved the quick reference to Rohan! That mangaka trying to write was so sad. But when the guy started leading into the explanation, I knew they were gonna name drop him.
I've heard that fate is manifested through gravity and that time is intertwined with it, so whomever controls time can by extension control fate, no wonder most main villains had a time manipulation power
And with this ends the age of DIO, of the Joestars' curse and of Stands. At least in that universe. Now onto the universe of spins, holy corpses, rokakaka and calamity.
When I saw the episode title, I already knew the episode would be an emotional rollercoaster; What a Wonderful World always makes me tear up when I listen to it. Agree on the bittersweet ending too, while the Joestar 'curse' may be broken, and they're now living out their best lives, Emporio is stuck with the knowledge of people that have ceased to exist. It's awfully tragic.
Dude, I remember when I was watching Stone Ocean being a tad worried bc ppl hated the ending. But then I was thinking to myself, it’s getting better and better as we’re getting to the end. Then BAM. There it is and personally, though def mind fucked, I loved it! And honestly, given JoJos fanbase, I’m surprised so many ppl disliked it but after seeing it, I feel pretty strongly that this is bc they feel like “the villain won” in some way. To be fair, he kinda did, but he also REALLY lost (the way I see it) bc he actually removed Dio and have - in a sense, allowed the new Joestars to be saved. It’s just sad bc they’re kinda not really them but they kinda are. Alternate/Reset universes, right?😂
I love how jojo’s has huge events happen because of small mistakes. Jotaro grabbing stone free instead of made in heaven, Emporio accidentally hitting a broom, even pucci being too aggressive and accidentally inserting weather reports disc. All are minor mistakes that any human would make. So, so beautiful.
While I do think the ending of Stone Ocean is very good, it's very odd how absent Giorno is. I get why he wouldn't show up, because if he did there's no way we'd get this ending, but it's still odd how the children of Dio show up and he isn't even mentioned in the anime (ik he's kinda hinted at in the manga).
Just my assumptions but I have a feeling Giorno would just be minding his own business being a mafia boss, even if he senses other Joestars out there. At this point, Giorno probably doesn't care about anything else
@@SirStrugglesAlot Yeah all of the other Sons of DIO were explictly told that they had no dreams or aspirations until the priest "guided" them while Giorno's most well known moment is him saying that he has a dream.
@@TerminaBroTheFirst Yup, so for all we know, DIO probably has other kids who are doing well in life, assuming he has any other children (fucking Zeus motherfucker lmao)
In The All-Star Battle R game, Pucci says to Giorno about how as a son of DIO he should join him, and Giorno says he can't because he has a dream. That sums up why he didn't come. DIO only guided the three sons to Pucci because they didn't have a dream and could therefore be used
9:26 If my interpretation (and I think a lot of fan's interpretations) are correct, The Irene-verse is like the original without the influence of Pucci causing Part 6. This would mean that parts 1-5 happen effectively as it does normally. So Jotaro has his stand and has to deal with it to a degree, but the danger he and Irene are in is much less due to the lack of Pucci and Dio's remnants after Part 3
Bingo!
that´s how always saw it as well, parts 1 to 5 happened but with small changes, but the main themes of the joestar family happened, like joestars vs dio, joseph vs kars, josuke vs kira, giorno´s journey but Irene lives a normal life .
You got everything right. I give you an infinite amount of respect
Pretty soild ending surprise that Jolyne was a good character and nice to see Jotaro again. Ending, Even those Joylne and her friends are gone and got replace by different versions of themself at least they get to rest from Dio's shenanigans.
I still don't get it tho since there will still be a new universe Pucci who is fated to meet Dio, so why wouldn't part 6 happen again?
Pucci's death was ferocious, seriously there wasn't even a stand roar, it was a bloody and messy beatdown, with Pucci's screams of anguish
Seeing Weather Report's fist just compressing Pucci's head until his eyeball popped out was brutal and satisfying
I personally wish we would've seen him getting pummelled by Weather Report.
Bro was literally slowly dying from the inside as well, it's literally a horrific death 💀
@@mischievousfishWorst thing is his soul got destroyed meaning no jesus for him
@@mrfact03s I just wanted to point it out dude
There are times when a gentleman has to be courageous and fight, even when his opponent is bigger than he is and he knows he's going to lose!"
Like, the first and last actions of a Joestar were to fight a stronger opponent they knew they were gonna lose to.
@@woodburn9539 I adore how Phantom Blood, though short and less outrageous than later parts, sets the central themes for the entire storyline that comes after it. Everything comes back to Jonathan, the heroic spirit of luck and pluck
hmm
On top of all that, it shows the huge contrast, the opposite poles that are the Joestars (and friends) vs Pucci. The Joestars are willing to give up their lives to protect the people they love, while Pucci considers himself above any kind of moral judgement, and will kill anyone that stands in his way in the name of a Greater Good, even killing his own family and allies.
The stone ocean ending was a lot

Really loved how the guitar strings of "Roundabout" started setting in, like in the good old times
Emporio with Weather Report’s DISC to fight off Pucci was so damn good to the point that Weather technically kills Pucchi which would make their final fight a fight of brothers
Correct, weather got his wish to defeat his brother and avenge his lover. Even only in a metaphysical way
@Brooke Wilcox yes but at least he has a better relationship with his daughter

Is he though? If everyone that died during the acceleration is replaced in the new universe, then Diavolo would be replaced too, since he also has to die during the acceleration. The replacement would live a different live and probably wouldn't encounter requiem.
@@zaifir8119 who knows the ending is confusing on it's own. let alone it's interaction with GER ability but in hindsight it's so funny to consider
@Zaifir well part 1-5 still happens exactly the same soooo hes still in infinite deaths
Same.... frickin goosebumps. And the ending art scenes were the icing on top
It’s amazing how depressing this ending makes you feel when you realize that all the alternate universe versions of the main cast all have OBJECTIVELY BETTER lives. They’re free from fate and the constant threat of dio and Pucci, and are all not in prison and living happy lives.
Jotaro probably still has ptsd though, due to the fight with DIO in Egypt still happening
yeah emporio really got a fate worse than death.

But then if the answer is YES, it raises more questions of "Ok but did Dio still do his bullshit, did Jonathan have a bizarre adventure, did he win and it all got ended in Wind Knight's Lot, what about the stone mask, wouldn't they pillarmen still awaken, would Joseph have his adventure still and mentor Jotaro later?"
Well at least if you're an obsessive fan like me who enjoys over thinking, these questions get raised lol
They just hated the fact that the characters they loved got killed and they want a quote on quote generic "happy ending", but that's just how I see it
It’s because the viewers get attached to the character’s personalities and the main cast in the end kinda lost to pucci even after beating him
They literally removed Pucci from existence, thus preventing everyone's lives from becoming awful. I had issues with the part 6 manga with how bloated it could feel at times, but I still think that the ending is probably the best out of all the mainline universe parts.
@@SirStrugglesAlot theyre still "alive" since the alt universe jolyne and the gang still retain their same souls

i feel like this misses what makes the ending hit so hard. emporio is the only one to remember the events of stone ocean. he has lived his whole life in prison and had long lived friendships with annasui and weather, as well as bonding with jolyne and ermes throughout the part. at the end, he is suddenly dropped into a wonderful world, where all the problems that led these people to befriend him are washed away, and they can finally be free from the curse of fate. but none of them remember him, and without the curses they held in the original universe, they are vastly different people. emporio is thrust into a world completely foreign to him that knows nothing of him, with the only thing for him to connect back to the life he once knew being his name -- emporio. the ending makes the final breaking of the joestar curse that began in part 1 into a bittersweet conclusion and does so in a way that no one would have guessed. it's the perfect way to end jojo's bizarre adventure.
@@grimdaggz yeah that makes sense, but also parts 7 and 8 are not in the universe created at the end of part 6. it's a new story.
@Connor Spencer Also with the fugo part I think thats them arriving on the boat
My only question is how does Pucci’s non-existence cause Anasui’s name to change? Jolyne->Irene makes total sense to me (symbolizes her no longer being chained to the bloody fate of being a “JoJo”) anyway
@@emblemblade9245 probably just to signify this is a new universe. Also butterfly effect. And I like to think the "Kiss" represents that anasui finally gets to be with the love of his life, just as jolyne is free from the joestar curse.
I’m glad they did such a good job with it. Hopefully people will realize how good part 6 actually is , as it’s criminally underrated.
The anime did a fantastic job at adapting part 6 and I love how everything was done especially the made in heaven arc.
The only thing to hate about it is how netflix released them by batch with incredibly long time-gap from one another
I really like the underwater scenes
Some of the animation looked worse and I expected better sound design for C-Moon and MIH but besides that it was great.
Other small things I like about the ending:
Pucci abuses Jolyne's and Jotaro's need to protect their friends and family in almost every encounter, (uses Jolyne to steal Jotaros disk, puts Jotaro's disk in Anasui to escape Jolyne and in the final fight he uses Jolyne to kill all of them.
What you said about being beaten by the person whose fully invested in their own goal , is basically Gyro and Diego's rivalry for the first half of part 7 lol
i aint readin allat
@@SirStrugglesAlot yeah
And that’s what I love about the ending
Just like how Joseph broke the curse of the Joestar men dying young, Jolyne broke the curse of the Joestars' curse of Dio.
@@Jason-tp1qe with part six, few characters that die always at the end of a JoJo arc. Now they all live.
This is my all time favorite jojo ending. I cried for the first time ever watching jojo. The happy fate of everyone and return of roundabout.
Same. Don't think I've ever come close to crying while watching Jojo. But I couldn't help it with that final scene of Emporio discovering the alt versions of the crew.
I shed a couple tears cause I thought Joseph died at the end of part 2 like Jonathan did cause it was the joestar family curse 😅
I personally can't be happy because the ones who got a happy ending are "fakes". Alternate versions that are similar but aren't really the characters we've come to know and love. which makes it even sadder.
Can't decide between this and part 7 tbh, they're both what made me go from "liking" JJBA on a very surface level to straight-up loving it.
I got insane chills seeing Emporio say his name in the end
Diavolo’s tie-in to the totality of the villains was his Stand ability to see his future and plan accordingly to it. This goes back to Pucci creating a universe where everyone having knowledge of their fate predestined.
This video reminded me to check on the status of the final episodes of Stone Ocean, and man, I found out I missed it by _10 days._ Feels bad man.
Yeah. I don't know how anyone could have known that that would happen.
He probably didn't see that coming. I mean, that was op as hell.
Over reliance on fate is essentially plot armor though
@@Timmy-mi2efYeah, but an actually acceptable one.
What are you smoking
Stone Ocean is the best part so far. Skipping it would be blasphemy.

Part 6 is amazing but definitely ain't as good as part 7 writing wise and story wise
That was in essence Jolyne, Ermis, Weather, and Anastasia at the end, they just had different lives and names but it was truly them with their original personalities and souls intact. They all met again and became friends with other because it was fate.
Yeah.
his name is Anasui, stop watching anime with english dub
Yeah, exactly, it was still the originals and not some new copies like some people think. The fact that they are fated to meet again is proof they are the same souls. You can even think of the reference to "what a wonderful world" to further imply its still the original universe and not a new one. Since the song is about how OUR world is so wonderful despite everything, its not about how there is some OTHER world that is better, but our own. So in that same way the ending of SO is about how the OG world is still wonderful.

@@kingbaku5092 the manga.
We see rohan in lockdown dealing with a virus that doesn't give him a stand.
The heroes do win in the end. But it is bitter sweet.
@@kingace6186 kinda. But since it's not even the same characters as the ones we were watching the entire time it kinda just comes off as emporio getting completely mind fucked for the rest of his life.
@@L_Giancarlo theoretically part 1-5 still happened. They probably had a different plot but the same outcome
Yeah, but I basically said at the end, everybody kind of lives a better life so I don’t think I need to personally go over that lol
@@METAsMETAs oh I see, love your content!
Rip Foo Fighters tho
@@zjuraeventide8949 I think what the comment means is that Weather managed to kill Pucci in the form of Emporio using Weather Report.
Also did anyone notice the themes of what happens to all antagonists after part 4?
Kira: wants to live a private secret happy life
Also kira: becomes known all across Morioh as a perverted sick murderer.
Diavolo: only wants the result of his victory.
Also diavolo: never reaches the result of death☠️
Pucci: wants to wipe the joestar bloodline out of existence
Also pucci: gets wiped out of existence himself🗿
The same can be applied to Kars, wants to become immortal, but is now stuck for eternity
@@Mr.Yeast2 He succeeded in becoming immortal but at the cost of getting stuck and frozen in deep space

Same. I was joyful. And Emporio IS best boy.
as much as i love distant dreamer and roundabout, im actually avoiding to listen to it lately unless I want to bawl myself crying on the spot.
Honestly the only complain for the part 6 adaptation aside from the release schedule, is how they skipped emporio's past and never shown apart from like a pucci quote... I think that was a big missed opportunity but it still gets under my skin seeing emporio cry at the end :)
Oh You’re right, they didn‘t show that :(
Oh, really? What was Emporio's past? All the anime covered was that he was born in the prison and that his mother got killed by Pucci. There was something about a bone tho.

Funny how the Netflix version of the chapter, it's named, "It's a wonderful world", I think it holds some sort of weight in the way that not being a rival to DIO anymore or fighting lackies anymore and being able to just life in a way makes it a wonderful world, and a wonderful life.

Roundabout in Part 6: 😢🥲😭
I love how Anasui finally got with jolyne in the new universe 😍 NEVER GIVE UP ON LOVE ❤
That ending literally had me sobbing, the last two episodes was just an emotional rollercoaster
Nice video and a few things about Stone Ocean’s ending that needed to be stated are (at least, in my opinion):
I was thinking that Pucci might’ve actually won and then created the new jojos universe, that’s would’ve been pretty cool
I like to think even when the universe got reset, Rohan still finishes his manga on schedule without even noticing any changes
This ending felt so strange yet so fulfilling
The ending fight is like if diavolo got the requiem arrow in part 5.
After hearing the ending music in the last episode made me cry
IKR. I was thinking this the other weak. Jolyne was Pucci's kryptonite at every turn. Even after he killed her, her will still defeated him.
The way this man pronounced "cruelty" gave me a stroke, aneurysm, and heart attack in that order.
That vocabulary and JoJo nerdiness is incredible try writing a book or something you'd be good at it
One thing that hammers the universe reset Is on Netflix after you finish stone ocean end up sending you to phantom blood
The ending was so good! Even though Netflix did the series dirty, I feel that the story got a good ending, and Roundabout as the outro theme just killed it!
The ending was so unexpected but so good and in the credits I love how it did the to be continued and went through all 6 parts
Imma watch the last episode so Pucci can reset the universe at midnight on New Years
i think that a better definition of how pucci represents diavolo would be saying that in the earlier parts of part 6, the main gang was entirely unaware of who whitesnake's user was, and it was still a large mystery up until the torrential downpour warning arc. a large part of diavolo's character in part 5 was keeping his identity hidden, and erasing any traces of his past that could lead giorno and the rest of passione to him. this reasoning could also be used as a representation of kira, as the best descriptor for kira would be "someone trying to lead a quiet life." pucci didn't want to have to start any sort of conflict with jolyne, and was hoping to have his plan executed without any mishaps, but fate was on his side with every turn in the road, including the birth of the green baby, his fusion with it, and the birth of c-moon and made in heaven.
Man the ending was so good
Boingo's prediction came true after all.
i think that pucci's connection to diavolo could be that he wanted to rule over the new universe and shape his own fate, just like diavolo in how he pursues anyone who challenges his "eternal reign". and just like how diavolo tried to kill giorno instead of fleeing, pucci tried to alter his fate by killing emporio instead of letting fate run its course. i do remember that pucci said to emporio he would happily give his life after the universe resets again, but I think he was just lying because if he really prioritized getting to heaven instead of quashing his enemies, he would have let emporio live
The part when roundabout started to play is when we all know that it is not over...
I guess...
I just finished it. Great ending, would’ve be better os Netflix drop it all at once or less time between patches
I'm pretty sure the events of Parts 1-5 remain unchanged. After all, "Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan" is more or less set during the time of its run.
It's a good day when Meta's upload.
The only complaint I have of the ending is that jotaro's theme played during the final battle instead of Sono chi no sadame
Hmmm you are right
Jotaro if he retained his memories in the Ireneverse:
"Emporio, you are really a reliable guy"
I love how the anime did it forsure Man, I am so hyped for steel ball run after this insane ending for JoJo’s as we know it.
I loved the quick reference to Rohan! That mangaka trying to write was so sad. But when the guy started leading into the explanation, I knew they were gonna name drop him.
So now we’re gonna get a what if Pucci vs ??? video or smth like that right?
Mmmmmmmm maybe
I've heard that fate is manifested through gravity and that time is intertwined with it, so whomever controls time can by extension control fate, no wonder most main villains had a time manipulation power
I still wonder what part 9 is going to be about with what we were teased with
It is tentatively named "Jojolands"
And with this ends the age of DIO, of the Joestars' curse and of Stands. At least in that universe.
Now onto the universe of spins, holy corpses, rokakaka and calamity.
honestly, imo, it is the perfect ending and i cant find any other that compares to it really, for me at least
Pucci literally sped up time so much so that the universe essentially restarted and GTA 6 is still not released
The only bad thing about this ending is that since Pucci doesn't exist, neither does FF :c
When you realize it the end of a bizarre adventure and the beginning of a normal life.
the ending was perfect just like this youtube channel
What a wonderful world is so bittersweet I have a hard time not crying every time I hear it. Stone oceans ending is also incredibly bittersweet
I get why he wouldn't show up, because if he did there's no way we'd get this ending, but it's still odd how the children of Dio show up and he isn't even mentioned in the anime (ik he's kinda hinted at in the manga).
i think araki said somewhere he didnt know how to write him in without it being a sweep (I might be waffling though)
@@TerminaBroTheFirst
Yup, so for all we know, DIO probably has other kids who are doing well in life, assuming he has any other children (fucking Zeus motherfucker lmao)
In The All-Star Battle R game, Pucci says to Giorno about how as a son of DIO he should join him, and Giorno says he can't because he has a dream. That sums up why he didn't come. DIO only guided the three sons to Pucci because they didn't have a dream and could therefore be used
Man that was so good. Thanks for laying it out like that!
Quote unquote the movie
You get it
