Star Wars 1313 cancellation was soo heartbreaking 😢

Disney and EA are a bunch of **ck suckers on Star Wars 1313 so will never see it
As someone who isn’t that much of a Star Wars fan, the cancellation of 1313 definitely bummed me the tf out.
I know & they just reused the assets just 2 make fallen order & survivor
There is that title Ubi are working on which is probably the next closest thing. Of course, it's Ubisoft so who knows when it will actually release etc. but from what I've seen of it, I'm quietly optimistic that it will be a solid title.
The Sleeping Dogs sequel could've been amazing, just bigger and better than the first with even more amazing combat animations.

I remember playing the PT demo over and over. To this day, it's still the scariest thing I've ever played.
That daredevil joke was CRAZY.
Love how this video progressively made me more depressed with every entry. Made me feel like my hope of the games releasing were my fist, and the very existence of the games were the sand.
Wow, never actually heard of some of these. Obviously, SW1313 and PT are there, but a Daredevil game and 19th century Batman? Those sound amazing. Really hope something can come of them in the future, with Rocksteady having Arkham success and Insomniac making Spider-Man and Wolverine. Maybe DD can even appear in SM3
Yes!! You finally talked about the daredevil game and the last LOK game!! I've been waiting for years!! You should include the flash cancelled game, it was going to use every resource of speeds in games to make people feel like they were the fastest man alive.

That doesn't matter at all. It's a basic quality of life addition that doesn't affect engagement that only betters the experience for the viewer. Not supporting something so... simple... is asinine. It's just laziness. @@AndreHeitor666
I have to agree with @@AndreHeitor666 on this one. I know I've been guilty of only wanting to see if a certain game was on a list. If it were divided into chapters then I would only watch the chapter I was interested in, and skip the rest for the sake of saving time.

wich was amazing at the time of prerendered scenes,
as it featured every gameplay element the trailer showed.

Man the world at war game play just brought back waves of nostalgia. Getting the ray gun on the first map was something else. I was adiment that you could get the ray gun on every level. I mean why have an Easter egg at the start to get the ray gun and not allow you to find one in every level. To get them end credits after beating the game on veteran(and if you haven't well has to be hands down the hardest cod to do veteran, the grenade icons are hell)and feeling amazing to only get "that" cut scene of the zombies was hair raising.
How could you forget about Starcraft Ghost!!!
Yes the actually kept production until 2016 that was a sad loss for a great title
Starcraft Ghost will forever be the game I think of in this kind of category. Havind read the books, I love Nova as a character. And her story campaign in SC2 is just a perfect example of how a third person shooter game following her would be awesome.
Honestly surprised Prey 2 wasn't higher on the list, considering how far along it seemed like the game was at the time. That trailer still kicks major ass.
I want all the legacy of kain games put on current consoles please
Before i watch this, Scalebound has to be on here. No other game even comes close to goty probably than that. Maybe star wars 1313 or whatever it was called.
I'm not sure it would have been "Goty" but I was really looking forward to Stargate SG-1: The Alliance.

for context Kojima was in the middle of both Silent Hills and MGS5 at the time. konami released MGS5 with only two 3rds of the game complete and was going to release part 3 as DLC. Kojima was so mad about them releasing a game he had not finished he just walked out on them.
They were fed up with him before mgs 5
Hey Jess, I don’t know if you have forgotten, but Indiana Jones and The Staff of Kings was NOT cancelled! It was originally going to be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360, but it got changed over for the PS2 and Wii.
Prey 2 is so heart breaking to this day! The “revamped” prey that had nothing to do with the universe I fell in love with playing the first prey and what we were teased with that trailer still hurts to this day. That game would have been infinitely better! I’m very glad it made the list! I liked the jab that fallout 76 was good enough to release but Prey 2 had to be scrapped 🤭
You mean Johnny Cash's cover of Soundgarden' "Rusty Cage" (which btw was in original in the soundtrack of my favourite racing game of the 90s - "Road Rash", along with a lot of other amazing heavy metal tracks).
in the case of 1313 ... at least we will be getting SW: Outlaws ... and we got Cal Kestis out of it

DC Universe Online actual has the Victorian Detective Cowl in the game. It's pretty nice.
Except the game isn't.
As I understand it, "Fear over quality" was Bethesda's given reason for why they cancelled Prey 2, but the actual reason was that they wanted to purchase the developer, and the developer didn't want to be purchased. So, they more or less cancelled the game out of spite. No idea if that's accurate or not, but worth looking into.

Faith And A .45 deserves to be on all these “what could have been” lists.
The Rainbow 6 Patriots Teaser & all the controversy around it. got leaked, then there was an official trailer/demo to circumvent the leak. and that was it.
Pirates of the Carribean
Who knows? Maybe someday any of these listed games will be revitalized and released as actual games. Better late than never.
It sounds like most of these games are finished. They could be released like Star Fox 2.
Maybe 3 of these would have actually had a shot, especially since horror, like in film, is often shunned for awards.
Starcraft Ghost deserved to be on this list or at least an honorable mention

Now I remember when the psp best known as PlayStation portable Indiana jones and the staff of kings came out on that one I mean it was good for the fans but I can remember playing that game when it came out
Do they live underneath a rock? Because Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings was not canceled but was moved over to the Wii and PS2. The PSP port is the better version of the game, because it doesn’t incorporate motion controls into the WHOLE game like the Wii Version does.
Freedom Fighters 2 is still at he top of my list. After reading it was scrapped to make the Kane and Lynch games I decided to never play any Kane and Lynch game.

Cancelling Silent Hills was bad enough, but removing PT from the online stores was just adding salt to the wound

Every titles idea on that list is still very interesting. Maybe they will come in some kind out as long as they not going they gotham nnight way; a game full of great ideas which executed with a almost desperate addiction to shout out "different" ... instead of delivering quality, just different isn't better sometimes just clunky. Gaslight, 1313,,Indiana Jones still interesting

Scalebound was the first game that came to mind when I heard the title of this list. I was so salty this game was cancelled after Microsoft spent so much time hyping Scalebound.

I enjoyed L.A. Noire so the Dirty Hairy game might have been a game I would have enjoyed. I feel L.A. Noire is an under-appreciated game.
The problem with L.A. Noire is that it was deceptively marketed. That may have been good for it’s initial sales but in the long term I think it hurt it critically and perhaps commercially as well. Most people though they were getting a Rockstar GTA style game set in that time period.
@@DoctorSess While I did get some GTA vibes with it, I felt it was trying to be unique. That may have hurt it. I had been playing GTA games for a couple years before I first bought and played L.A. Noire in 2014. My first GTA game was San Andreas and I first played that back in 2009 after I turned 18. I thought L.A. Noire was something different from anything I ever played before.
@@satoshiserena4843 yeah the game itself was not GTA at all really but it was marketed that way to a degree. People were lead to believe it would be something like an old detective GTA. Personally I like the game because it was something so different. That gets my respect alone.

I would have loved it if Flashback 2 side-scroller platform game (there's a yt video of the unreleased game) was released for the SNES instead of the awful 3d thing they did release. Also the travesty of not releasing the N64's Goldeneye on the Xbox original, though they made it.

I have never been more triggered than with the sentence "the Johnny Cash song Rusty Cage" (despite it kind of being correct), but Prey 2 could have been wonderful.

Its pretty damn presumptuous to assume games that were never even completed would've been game of the year quality. Potentially great, sure, but GOTY is a stretch.

Disney and EA, the two largest destroyers of beloved franchises, especially game franchises. Konami is just as bad these days...focusing ONLY on Japanese "Slot Machines," causing many beloved franchises, like Castlevania....to die. If you're not going to use your IPs, SELL THEM TO THOSE WHO WOULD!!!
