      you should tell more people about the Tactical Distributors coupon code and give them motivation to sign-up to the Badger Den or maybe the inverse, once they sign-up at the Badger Den, THEN, they can get access to discounts at TD.

    I do not live in an area that is cold like this(usually) it's awesome to see vids of gear and products that survive it! I also use the clothing reviews when it was time to update cold weather gear just in case of another snowmagedon here.

      i learned my lesson wearing shorts in Colorado in February riding a mountain bike across colorado springs, i came outside at dusk to a blizzard and nearly froze to death on a 1.5 mile trek. NEVER GO OUTSIDE WITHOUT PANTS IN WINTER, EVER!

    Kit, not sure if you're familiar with the Northern Light snowshoes but they are ultra light and I found them to have much more float than the MSR snow shoes.

    Hardest for me is finding warm insulated boots, I have Viktos 3m insulated with wool socks and that kept me warm in the PNW. But I still get sore toes as they get cold so that sucks. Good info you provided. Will definitely look into that gear for next season. Still snowing here but I'll use what I got for now

      I bought a pair of Wind River boots ( Mark's Work Warehouse house brand) about 10 years ago. They are bonded synthetic and Gortex outers with removable foam liners. They are water proof ( now more like water resistant), warm and grippy on snow and ice. They're getting worn out and I plan to buy another set like them ( the exact model's no longer a thing, unfortunately).

    NO emitter is the best emitter for handguns in my opinion. Yes I still roll with irons on my sidearm and I don't care. I am plenty fast and accurate with them and I am not going to fix what isn't broken. That's just me though. Enjoyed the video and the good gear.

    • @Osprey1994
      @Osprey1994 Рік тому +2

      Ok? Enclosed emitter is the best, and dots are an inherently better sighting system. Crazy how Paul Harrel just made a video about people like you.

    I use the clutch as well for biathalon's, how did you secure the ak mag? I've been having issues tackling that one. So far the best option is a pad of velcro right on the magazine.

    Depending on how cold it gets, how much snow is involved and if it becomes a war of attrition, I prefer stainless bolt action and a stainless revolver. The cold and rust can cause issues in firearms of semi auto and standard steel construction. Most battles in snowey alpine climates can be a conflict of long distance shots. A shovel a steel canteen and a good set of binoculars can be detrimental.
