I don't know if you've seen one of his more recent videos but he hikes out a ton to make these videos. So I wouldn't be surprised if he goes through shoes more than the average joe.

For water a non coated and non layers stainless container would be your best bet as it would allow you to boil/purify the water on your way if need be.
The spirit of training how you fight I encourage all of you whenever you are doing these kinds of trainings where you are facing a enemy Force get rid of anything with a signal otherwise you are simply blowing a whistle as you approach the enemy
Sawyer squeeze water filter, 2 smart water bottles whatever size you need. Thread pitch is perfect. 1 bottle for clean water 1 for dirty, squeeze dirty water into clean bottle. Best weight to durability water filtration system out there.
Ivan, I highly recommend Rxtactical if you need prescription eye-pro still. I ordered a pair of prescription Oakley si ballistic shocktubes and I had them at my door in about a month. They weren’t cheap, but it was worth it. They’ve got a lot of options for lenses I got clear transitions, works great for outdoors. There’s just not a lot of places you can get custom prescription eye pro from so I figured I’d let you know about them! Keep up the quality content man
I'm waiting for pretty much the same setup to arrive. You're right about limited options for prescription ballistic eyepro. They were pricey but if it works well I may pick up another pair (fingers crossed that insurance pays a portion)
@@michaelpereira808 That’s awesome, I think you’ll be very satisfied! Definitely worth the money. Love the shocktubes so far, very comfortable with ear pro on! I didn’t get the extra hard scratch coating but I also haven’t been wearing them everyday. That reminds me I need to file a claim with my insurance, (I already bought another pair of glasses last year so had to wait as my insurance only allows one coverage per year) I think depending on your coverage they should cover something. Mines not great, but I think I’ll get about $150 off my lenses after the claim. Forward the receipt to your insurance and see what they can do.
Those high scope mounts ruin a good cheek weld for me, contributing to the eye box problem. I'm back to conventional mounts with the stock a bit higher into my shoulder pocket. Repeatability and speed are back now!
Very interesting point about your footwear being difficult to walk through tall grass. I could easily see how that would increase the amount of energy needed to move which is not a good thing.
I put a bladder on the back of my carrier and on my chest rig just to distribute some weight of water. I like to keep a canteen on my belt and 1 on my backpack.
Until things change, the Upstate NY Minuteman Loadout is a Mini-14 and a M1911-A1 on your hip (NY 7 round in magazine law). Should things change, the gear will get improved.
@62guitarguy I have built many M1911-A1 Compacts. For a while they were all the rage and it’s what customers really wanted. On days like today, when it’s 85 out with 85 humidity, I have no problem taking one of my shorties out. 3 years ago I built myself a new one - Officer frame, and Commander Slide. Gloss blue and Ivory. Real Ivory.
I would recommend 2 things, find glasses that can accept prescription ballistic lenses or if you don't need glasses to shoot, or shoot better without, yes that's a thing. Look for safety glasses with exchangeable lenses.
I wore Salomon's and wore out the soles. The uppers were perfect, but after two years, Salomon will not warranty them. So, you're stuck with some perfect uppers with no traction on the bottom. And, they will not resole their shoes. I'll wear some other more serviceable shoes.
Pistols are a waist of weight if you are training for minute man. Carry extra mags and water. I'd rather have one more mag than a pistol any day of the week.
All thoughtful gear, i ditched the plate carrier for a ak smersh harness and optional an stripped down battle belt. I ran around in my PC and battle belt and that shit sucks. If you aint training in it youll be combat ineffective within 5 mins of combat.
Would you have considered a OWB holster attached to a lowride belt loop like from northman/safariland; that way you could clear the thing2 rig set up as is when drawing the pistol ? Or did the competition rules limit your gear selection to an EDC belt set up for the pistol carry ? Thanks for sharing your experience and equipment selected !
I missed the name of your safety shooting glasses that are prescription. I get so tired of having to wear safety glasses over my prescription glasses. Can you or anyone else clue me in? I didn't hear the name or see anything on your list of gear... Thanks
Out of curiosity. What kind of radio did you (or any kind of PMC really) run when doing jobs in other countries? I doubt something with cryptography since those are expensive as fuck. Did you guys run Baofengs by any chance?
Nice, I used to buy a lot of prometheus design as well. Right up until he called every Trump supporter a racist. Got an instant unfollow and never bought another product of his after that.

Tactical sneaker head. Instead of collecting Jordan's and Airmaxs he collects the Tactical boots and shoes 😆
Hump enough miles over enough mountainous terrain and you'll find out why.
This channel is oddly weather-and-fashion-centric.
Extra respect for shooting "other strong side" during a course/competition.

Man I want to do this course. Thank you for uploading!
I just come here to see what the song selection is. Always on point. 😂
Great content and info as always.
Always look forward to your videos.👍

NY does not have a 7 round magazine law. That was tossed out many years ago and it Is now 10.
