Kris, I love the wheel in the keel! LOL! The seats look mighty comfy! The logo is sweet! Good tip about the length of ropes. I learned that same lesson the hard way too! The camera pole and mount is amazingly clever! Your dad is a genius!
Awesome setup. Like another subscriber mentioned, wrapping pool noodle around your camera pole would be a great idea. Great looking boat, can't wait to see the new vids. Tight lines!
Que padre esta tu lancha Suerte con Douglas cuando vayan a pescar Estoy ansioso por verlos juntos pescando Bendiciones, gracias a ti y a Douglas por sus videos
Kris, the boat looks amazing. I cannot wait to see your videos from the different angles. and those seats look so comfortable it would make me only want to stay out longer LOL. I almost have enough money saved up and I'm getting a post similar to that. I would definitely like to see you make a video on how to do those seats if you get a chance so I will give it a shot and try to do mine as well. Great video keep it up buddy
Thanks young man, I loved fishing in the Appalachian mountains in the ponds and rivers for years for catfish; 21 years, I say I miss it, now being in South Florida (31 years), it's all about snakeheads (yum good eatin), bass and bluegill etc. Just a thought, have you considered putting a floating device on your new camera holder; in the middle? All the best, m sonnyt
Great mods.I have been restoring an old ski boat and have gotten to the point to where I need to reupholster it. I am quite interested in seeing how you did the seats. Maybe I can pick up some ideas.
Very creative!!! I'm retired and thinking about buying a Walker Bay 10 for my 30ft sailboat. Do you think it's possible to cut the WB10 in half to make a 'nesting dinghy' that I can store on deck? If I cut it just aft of the center seat, it looks like I'll be cutting the keel. Do you know what kind of material is in the keel? Of course, everything would get reinforcement and the two halves would be locked together with shoulder bolts and star knobs...Your feedback is appreciated...
do you ever do in the night fishing if so a good thing to put in there is black lights the tube ones it really lights up the fishing line and also you can see what you doing and it's not really bright check it out
fine lookin boat kinda small for my area of the arkansas river. but would be good for the backwater though. love that cat fishing cap where can i get one.
Quick question how would you recommend attaching the monster rod holders to a “plastic” type boat such as yours. Also you use a specific base? Thank you!
they aren't that easy to move. Besides if the wind is that bad that means I can't film then I'm just wasting my time on the water. The wind has been against me all year by the way. Mother nature isn't on my side in 2016 lol
You can actually have a longer rope (if you wanted it) if you have a floating "ball" right where your ended your rope. So that if it's forgotten it will float to the side of the boat and not into the motor :)
Do you find the boat with 3 passengers to be a little tight? How is the stability? I am an angler who stands frequently, and also needs some space lol. Opinion?
this boat is definitely more roomy than the 8' model. I can stand fairly comfortably but I always have to be mindful of the passengers movements while standing. Three adults would be ok for awhile, but you'll tent to get restless. The good thing is that I can lay out across the middle seat or the back seat comfortably. I've actually slept on the boat before
Hi Kris, great videos! Have you had any issues rowing while there are two people in the boat? I've read about some people having drag problems with two people (but not one or three) in the Walker Bay 8 and I didn't know if the Walker Bay 10 fixed the problem.
BRO I WOULD SO LOVE TO COME FISH WITH YOU AND STEVE THIS WEEKEND. LIVE IN SAN ANGELO WISH I COULD MAKE IT. WOULD BE A DREAM COME TRUE. PLEASE MAKE AN AWESOME VID THIS WEEKEND.THIS IS BETTER THAN WINNING THE LOTTERY.
Hello Sir, as far as I know Walker Bay stopped producing dinghies. Currently we are developing a 10 ft dingy and it will be ready to order in some months. If you can share your mail with us, we can give you updates and put you in waiting list. Best Regards
yes, but I just wipe them down with a wet rag and it cools them off right away. And if its really hot, I'm usually wet already from swimming in the river.
Kris
I absolutely love what you did to your Walker Bay 10. I'm thinking of buying the same boat. Perfect for those calm waters.
Kris, I love the wheel in the keel! LOL! The seats look mighty comfy! The logo is sweet! Good tip about the length of ropes. I learned that same lesson the hard way too! The camera pole and mount is amazingly clever! Your dad is a genius!
thank you Juanelo! the boat worked out great! and the seats were super comfy! It's amazing what that old man of mine conjures up in a pinch
muddyrivercatfishing 12 volt vexlar battery Will run LED lights there small and light weight use it in my kayak for lights

Dude, I'd wrap a foot or so of pool noodle to that camera pole....just in case. :)
Can't wait to see the new camera angles out on the river!
Looking real sweet there...

Kris, you should definitely get that patented! Or at least some kind of collab with monster rod holders! shout out to my son in "burque".
do you ever do in the night fishing if so a good thing to put in there is black lights the tube ones it really lights up the fishing line and also you can see what you doing and it's not really bright check it out
Your Fishing Skills Got me HOOkED to your channel!
It's coming out Awesome:') love the decal...
Camera mounts are genius.
fine lookin boat kinda small for my area of the arkansas river. but would be good for the backwater though. love that cat fishing cap where can i get one.
thanks Jonathan. These hats are available on my website www.muddyrivercatfishing.com
happy for you man, that boat is sweet!
progress is progress.. good job
nice boat!! let's see it in action
Nice upgrades. It looks like you will need to shim out your Pringle cup holders from under the seat. Where does the beer cooler fit?
I have got to look these boats up. will make a good duck hunting boat for the slews i hunt and fish!
Love the new boat and add ons
boat's coming along well. i'd be interested in how you'll be putting your tackle boxes in. I liked your tackle box setup on your previous boat
Looking great
Great job.
Great update.... Thank you
man, Cadillac! show us the umbrella! and cold beers in the water
Super cool boat !
Quick question how would you recommend attaching the monster rod holders to a “plastic” type boat such as yours. Also you use a specific base? Thank you!
rod holders was a good idea wondering about the wind catching the camera and spinning it out of whack on you have you devised a solution for that
they aren't that easy to move. Besides if the wind is that bad that means I can't film then I'm just wasting my time on the water. The wind has been against me all year by the way. Mother nature isn't on my side in 2016 lol
boat's looking nice👌👌👌
wow looks good. I'm jealous I want one
Gotta have those pringles holders
Would love to see how you did the vinyl seats. Great looking!
how's your new boat coming out have you took it out to the river. have
You could also made a camera holder that fits into your umbrella clamps. Not as much range of motion, but an option in case of emergency....
You can actually have a longer rope (if you wanted it) if you have a floating "ball" right where your ended your rope. So that if it's forgotten it will float to the side of the boat and not into the motor :)
Nice work.
it came out good bro good job...

+muddyrivercatfishing I just bought the 8' for float the river. I hope I can fish it comfortably.
how is the durability of the hulls? I have been wanting one for the saltwater bays wondering how in the shallows if it rubs against something sharp?
Thumbs up to your jefito for the idea.
Dads know everything, que no?
Heck yeah they do! Gotta love that old man of mine!
I have a 2004 Ford Sport Trax XLT, would this be able to fit in the bed of my truck? Looking for a small fishing boat but don't have a trailer
I don't think so. You might be able to put the 8' in upside down, with the bow resting on the cab. The width of the boat is 52"
nice boat!!!!
Looks good!
With all those rod holders, you'll have to call it Porcupine.
great looking boat!!!
what kind of camcorder you using? and yes a vid on the seat cushion making would be nice. I have a jon boat..
cheers...
You should have also had a floor boards . They are standard with the WB10
You should buy a standard ground plate. It makes your boat stronger and easier to clean.
Where can I get some of those T-shirts and caps ?
Hi Kris, great videos! Have you had any issues rowing while there are two people in the boat? I've read about some people having drag problems with two people (but not one or three) in the Walker Bay 8 and I didn't know if the Walker Bay 10 fixed the problem.
you need to make a trip out to north cali ill take you sturgeon fishing
Like the boat
nice. Question. Have you ever used brinde shad?
yes, they work quite well for me out here
where can you buy his T-shirts, hats, etc.?
Nice! Are you going to throw your Suzuki 2.5 outboard on there?
you know it!
Looks really good!
cant wait 👍👍👍
You should add a rod holder on the front for the camera
Very cool what state is that?
New Mexico
you should UA-cam some hobie kayak vids to get some ideas
Have you ever fished in Tennessee for catfish
looks good bro great job
that's great!
nice
Where online can I buy one of these boats? How much do they cost?
Hello Sir, as far as I know Walker Bay stopped producing dinghies.
Currently we are developing a 10 ft dingy and it will be ready to order in some months. If you can share your mail with us, we can give you updates and put you in waiting list.

Awesome
Should rubber coat the metal threads of your camera holder so they wont wear away at your rod holders.
Aren't the seats going to get super hot in the sun?
yes, but I just wipe them down with a wet rag and it cools them off right away. And if its really hot, I'm usually wet already from swimming in the river.
can't wait to see you sail that thing.. jk!
lights on the boat for night fishing?
I have flashlights and the camera has a bright LED but if I'm not baiting a hook or filming I'm fishing in the dark
I have a question have you ever got it on plane
no, the 2.5hp motor that I have isn't strong enough
What are you doing with the old one
I think I'm gonna raffle it off
How Much Did That Boat Run You?
around 1,200
Be nice to actually see you fish!
Tenga la bondad de hacer un video con su Papa pescando.
add a anchor set up from a float tube set up they work great www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Locking-Anchor-Control-System/product/82165/

got that same achor. works great. looking forward to watching you catch fish out that boat. got me looking at buying one. it's perfect size
