For anyone wondering what the actual timeline is... The First Purge takes place in 2014. The Purge takes place in 2022. The Purge: Anarchy takes place in 2023. Season 1 of The Purge TV series takes place in 2027. Season 2 of The Purge TV series takes place from 2036-2037. The Purge: Election Year takes place in 2040. The Forever Purge takes place from 2048-2049. And... if the sixth movie actually does get filmed... it should be taking place in 2059, based on a Second Civil War storyline.

The boy's at fault for opening the door and letting that unknown man inside the house. Didn't his parents teach him not to welcome any strangers? Plus that boy hid the unknown man at his stupid hiding area. If I were the Dad and I couldn't find the unknown man, I would ask the purgers to enter inside my house and look for the unknown man and ask if the purgers will not harm my family. Its a very simple plan. The kid cries after the purge ends cause his Dad dies, but he is stupid. Its his fault that started it. Kids these days.
