Your video is okay but you can compare a country that caters for over 200 million people compare to a country with 12 million people. Also, Nigeria have many ethnicities and languages while Rwanda have three ethnic groups and one language.
Simple if you want to retire go to Rwanda and if you really want to enjoy night life etc go to Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa , DRC etc.
It is according what you want to experience and the time in your at the moment. But, if you are coming from the West pick a country that is more adaptable to your previous lifestyle and is open.

I've had clothes made by talented tailors and seamstresses at my local market (Kimironko). When I wear my African dresses people on the street speak Kinyarwandan to me. They don't stare, but I haven't a clue what they are saying other than the typical greetings - which poses its own problem. I'm learning Kinyarwandan, but clearly I'm not there yet. And I am retired. What is wrong with Willie? Kigali beat Abuja in terms of cleanliness only. Kigali can only be compared to Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Kigali can't afford to build the overpasses we have in Port Harcourt. Kigali was a beat down city simply undergoing reconstruction and beautification.
My uncle has visited has visited many countries in the world, including Rwanda. He watched your video and said that you're simply trying to hype Kigali, simply because you feel welcomed in the city.
The Kigali CBD is clean. And that is the only nice place in Kigali. Apart from the Kigali CBD, the other neighborhoods in Kigali don't have sidewalks.
What infrastructure does Kigali, a small city with a few paved roads have compared to Abuja?
What urban planning are you talking about? Do you think the well arranged CBD in Kigali makes it ahead of Abuja?
My cousin finished his studies in South Africa, and he confessed that Abuja is ahead of Cape Town in terms of city planning and road designs.
Your videos of Kigali come from the city centre/commercial districts.
If you want to seek relevance in Rwanda, don't bring Abuja down to the level of Kigali.

Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED."
God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?❤🌸🐞

Easy access to Nigeria 🇳🇬 is better than getting access to the United States 🇺🇸. So it’s nothing compare to what your country US make people go through just to get their visas. So no US citizen should even complain of no easy access to another country visas.

Fact is the whole Rwanda is like a state in Nigeria. Kigali is the size of a town in Nigeria, not comparable to a very massive Abuja. I think as small as Kigali is it wouldn't have what it takes to make me enjoy my living there. It will be dull. Living in Kigali will be like living in Calabar, Enugu, etc. Life in Kigali cannot even be compared to Port Harcourt.

    • @sylviasworld9397
      @sylviasworld9397 Рік тому

I agree, I have been to both places and in fact left Kigali early to go to Abuja. I think Abuja as a city is actually better planned. Where the city falls down, is in the maintenance and continuing to build according to the original Abuja Masterplan, because Abuja is not yet completed. There are 3 more phases of the 4 phases in the Masterplan. Kigali is clean though and they have a culture of keeping it tidy, even though I barely saw a trash can, which means it's the behaviour of the citizens that keep it clean. In Abuja I've seen people through litter on the floor while standing near to a trash can. I must say, this was not the case when I first visited Nigeria. They had a robust system of cleaning the city and people generally did not litter. I now live in Abuja and visit my home town of London, yearly.

Hi Willie I'm enjoying your videos. As someone of Nigerian heritage who has recently downsized, semi retired and relocated to Abuja by way of Lagos I really get more for my pension than if I stayed in the UK. Eventually I intend to spend several months a year in different locations in Africa. As an Urbanite it has to be cities for me and Kigali is on the list either this year or next year. And the food thing is there is an affordable direct flight to Kigali from Abuja.
The only major complaint I have of Abuja is sometimes it can get boring. Apart from eating and drinking at numerous good bars, gardens and other joints there isn't a varied entertainment life. I guess I've been spoiled living in Europe.
What's the entertainment life like in Kigali.
As such my ideal cities for a more varied entertainment and social life would be the big cities in South Africa and that's why I now plan to spend the months of December and early January exploring Southern Africa.

I had a little cash to invest, found a decent person in Nigeria, we're trying to start a business selling something to the locals in Nigeria. I'm based in In Europe, they're in Nigeria. Its a headache, but we're trying to make it work. I think Ghana is probably a better place to start a business than Nigeria, so I'm going to go there and see if there's a business opportunity down there.
Rwanda is a great market to get started in, and then expand to the neighboring countries of The East African Community.

And very fair in your assessments to boot!
But honestly, my own bias aside, I believe that Nigeria alongside Ghana (as English speaking countries) of course , shares similar genetics pool as African Americans!
The overwhelming number of Black people in North, Central and South America, including the Caribbean islands , during the transatlantic trades, were mostly relocated from West Africa!
Although Rwandans are black Africans as well, they really have no hereditary bloodlines to Black Americans!
I believe that there is an element of kinship that might serve African Americans much better in West Africa!

@@aframaco9491 Actually the slave trade penetrated as deep as Congo. The reason why Rwanda wasn't involved is because the country was extremely densely populated and organized enough to fight off the slave raiders. They also banned Arabs from even entering the Kingdom of Rwanda. But there is still a small population of mixed Arab descendants in Rwanda and Burundi from this time period.
