The good ole days, before reliable cell phones, and lack of everything being posted online within minutes. Can't get away with things like that anymore.
I was big into the DC nightlife scene back in the early to mid 2000’s and would run across/hang out with Dustin every once in a while. He told me this story pretty much word for word not long after it happened. Watching this video really brought back some memories.
Absolutely amazing stories. My favourite Mischief moment though is definitely the Mondeo driving on the Cannonball, as that was just zero fucks given driving. Funny to say that the most batshit insane driving I've ever seen on public roads was done in a rental Ford Mondeo...
The fact that he was able to get away with this, and still have a license blows my mind. Up here in Canada that is like a six demerit fine. Which is over half of the maximum demerits allowed before you get your license taken away.
Sure was, looking forward to it. I had just got married two months before the rally and was scheduled to leave on my honeymoon to Australia a couple weeks after the rally. Luckily I wasn't considered a flight risk while on bail and was able to enjoy my honeymoon. The wife was not happy lol
The German autobahn experience indicates that speed limits have little or no effect on road deaths on rural freeways. I used to be on the staff of a trauma hospital which was located near a major urban freeway. The hospital kept an accident location map. Most of freeway accidents were near the ramps. Some of the ramps were on ramps extending into off ramps. These ramps had a particularly high accident rate. In many parts of the world speed cameras are used for traffic enforcement and there is a no chase policy.
I used to own a woodland camo 96 Jetta gt, that I had gutted everything except the seats. Driving that thing in the New York winter was seriously hell, so I feel the pain on dados m3. My doors were all welded shut, so gettin in and out was a chore
These Mischief guys and their Gumball videos were my childhood. I don't remember why, but I actually used their Gumball 3000 video in a presentation for my history class in 7th grade. I just wanted an excuse to show everyone how sick they made the rally seem! Now my dream is to do those rallies, so I guess these guys inspired me a lot more than I thought!
I really don’t understand how if you are doing over 120mph and run from the cops and they just laugh it off and let you go. It doesn’t make sense! Every cop I run into is always a major harass! I live in Utah too!
Damn, this takes me back. Dado was my "Rob feretti". I had just gotten my e36 m3 and found all those videos of him on all the BMW forums. I aspired my car to like his, but in AvusBlau.
Thankfully Dustin never went to jail for street racing - oh wait - nevermind Back in VA this guy I knew had a 455 Olds Rocket engine that was built by a Winston Cup engineer. One day he called me and asked if I wanted to drive it as I had helped put the car together. At around 2am I topped it out on a Virginia highway at around 220mph and I used this enormous hill to help slow the car back down. We came over the hill and police had blocked the road. They eventually let us go because they didn't catch us speeding but one of the officers mentioned a fire spotter plane called in the vehicle because he couldn't keep up with the car and figured we may be going over the speed limit. The VA state police didn't get us that day but they more than made up for it later. Don't speed in VA- OMG. Pretty sure the maximum penalty for speeding in VA is death by firing squad.
LOL that they got arrested in Abilene KS, the Dickinson County seat. I know this quite well, because my mom is from Abilene, and I spent all my summers there as a kid with my grandparents. It's a small town, but it definitely has motels. It is also where the Eisenhower Museum and Library are, and there are some other cheesy tourist attractions. It's small, but not that small.
Active is still around in Miami, Ics performance tuned his 1995 m3 to 540hp. At the time it was one of the fastest street cars on the road in 2002. 3.2 and 3.0 u.s spec motors is better for boost than the euro spec version. High duration 2.5 bore and stroke to 3.0 thicker silender walls for the 95 u s e36 m3's , 3.2 u.s can also handle high boost, Dado's was swapped for lower milege 3.2 us motor to 540hp🤣😂🙄insane for 2002. Hydrolic lifters meant no valve train adjustment, plus u.s spec m3 manuals gear box ran of automatic Transmission fluid. No gear box oil change needed,
I live outside of richmond in VA, my first and ONLY ticket (knock on wood) was for 61 in a 35. buttttt when your father knows the head of security for the Judges, you get out of your ticket, and when you are flying home at well over 100 and get stopped by a state trooper, but the reason you are flying is because your best friends dad was a state trooper who was killed in charlottesville 1 hour prior, you get an escort
We recorded a couple but then some other developments happened to each story so you will have to wait until after the 30th to hear about the meth truck and the pornstar's Camaro.
5,000 dollars to basically not have a record dam that lawer must be good at golf
Or good enough to lose consistently below the judge.
T Nelson ridiculously accurate
Nah, the Judge just wanted some pocket money.
I wish I was white some days.
@@Tracked350Z same and I am
Thanks again ED for allowing me to share another Mischief story. Looking forward to the next one! - Dustin
The pleasure is all mine! Great stuff.
Thanks Ed ;) Feels like it was in another lifetime.
Keep'm up guys! I grew up on Mischief, it was like Jackass for cars.
MISCHIEF TV a
I cant wait for all the old extra footage to come out from all the Mischief's!
I want the number of that lawyer for future reference...
Donald Trump the art of the deal
Mark Gardner, turned my 5 felonys into 0

Saul Goodman
The good ole days, before reliable cell phones, and lack of everything being posted online within minutes. Can't get away with things like that anymore.
We need Dado on this show!
Free Dado, with the purchase of any Dado of equal or greater value
P WrightisRight let me get my table saw ready first
Look at my name , Dado plays Fortnite lol
But Dado is my nickname
What ?!
Dado wasn't the only one happy to finally have a fast car on a rally. We had all been waiting for this. Great video as usual!
160 on a welded wheel. WOW.
Must of been the most fun the cops had in a while. They let him sit in the front seat , and film ! Modern day Smokey and the Bandit.
I was big into the DC nightlife scene back in the early to mid 2000’s and would run across/hang out with Dustin every once in a while. He told me this story pretty much word for word not long after it happened. Watching this video really brought back some memories.
I feel like there was a failure in shrewd negotiating skills here. Only 5K??? LOL
It's one of those cases when "they do the shrewd negotiation for you preemptively"
the shrewd negotiator would have gotten HIM 5k
"Free Dado" is my new favorite thing
stan new? That was a thing about 13 or so yrs ago.
sean wilks I had no clue about it until now haha
Lol, I was trying to get a shirt back then...lol
Look at that hair....damn that's a fast m3....
Absolutely amazing stories. My favourite Mischief moment though is definitely the Mondeo driving on the Cannonball, as that was just zero fucks given driving. Funny to say that the most batshit insane driving I've ever seen on public roads was done in a rental Ford Mondeo...
Figureight I just wish I had not ripped the oil filter off. Damn cone 🤣
and didn't even get it on film :D
This dudes hair is higher than my expectations for women
Ok?
seriously weak joke 🙄
Think before you post crap please...
@@ARSZLB just like you
🤣🤣
Yes, more Mischief / Dustin / Dado stories! More please! And a where are they today would be awesome!
This guy is gotta be atleast 40 and rocking hair like that hahahahaha gotta love it such a savage hahahaha
Last time I was this early, Rabbit hadn't gotten a parking spot from Grandma yet
Dustin's 2 stories have been my favorite 2 VINwiki videos so far!
I remember the free dado shirts. Love these old Tekademics stories. Bought my first of a few E36 M3's because if him
SAME
I love these stories, I grew up watching the Mischief movies and its been such a big influence for me when it came to getting into the car scene.
Love he license plate. A mix of B's and 8's. Good luck reporting that.
"Yeah his license plate was just a mix of 8s and Bs" "ah okay yeah, we know exactly who it is"
Y’all have to be one of my favorite UA-cam channels I watch and I watch a lot lol. Great work 👍💪🏻
The fact that he was able to get away with this, and still have a license blows my mind. Up here in Canada that is like a six demerit fine. Which is over half of the maximum demerits allowed before you get your license taken away.
This is excellent, love hearing the backstory on the Mischief guys. I watched those so long ago, still some of the craziest stuff I've seen.
These dudes were legends back in the day, I got a chance to meet them at a car show in Atlanta
I always assumed that E36 build made for a miserable rally car experience. Clearly I was correct!
E36 is the most popular casual level rally car in here.
he meant that specific build
One of my favorite things to watch was dado explaining himself at the end of this movie. So happy to see this explained even more. Haha
This is awesome, please keep stories like this coming.
Another dado video! These are great. Such an iconic car.
I think the rabbit videos are my favorite but every video I've seen on this channel has been very entertaining
This channel is the best way to start the morning!
Dang it! Now I gotta buy another video on Amazon. ;) Great vid. Love these kind of stories.
Last time I was this early, CARFAX still thought the 993 had a clean title.
Im in awe listening to these stories they are goals and legendary dude tales that most car guys would want to partake in.
Bro I love the stories from Dustin and the whole mischief crew fucking maniacs man love it :D
Being from Kansas, the second I heard "Then we went up to Kansas, and it all goes bad..." was nothing but LMAO
I've been watching the Mischief recap videos from their archives and these vinwiki interviews are awesome supplements
Oh man, here we go :)
You are the man sir.
This one certainly could have ended a lot worse! I hope you are doing great Dado. Come tell some stories sometime!
Sure was, looking forward to it. I had just got married two months before the rally and was scheduled to leave on my honeymoon to Australia a couple weeks after the rally. Luckily I wasn't considered a flight risk while on bail and was able to enjoy my honeymoon. The wife was not happy lol
Dado get your ass over to vinwiki!
DadoBR nice job man give them hell!!!!!

Haha man your stories just make my childhood 10x better. Golden days
Wow, 160 on a welded wheel? He must have REALLY trusted that guys welding skills.
Uchiha This Guy didnt give a fuck hahaha the OG Yolo
Holy Shit! - I remember buying these movies on DVD at Best Buy back in 2003-era. Damn! great memories.
I used to own a woodland camo 96 Jetta gt, that I had gutted everything except the seats. Driving that thing in the New York winter was seriously hell, so I feel the pain on dados m3. My doors were all welded shut, so gettin in and out was a chore
Somewhere in a box, I have a bunch of these Mischief DVD's. Such great entertainment!
Mischief Destroy was always my favorite to watch. When I was younger I always thought Dado was a God behind the wheel...
Dado, Alex Roy and LonMan
These Mischief guys and their Gumball videos were my childhood. I don't remember why, but I actually used their Gumball 3000 video in a presentation for my history class in 7th grade. I just wanted an excuse to show everyone how sick they made the rally seem! Now my dream is to do those rallies, so I guess these guys inspired me a lot more than I thought!
XD great stories. I loved these videos.
Bet that was an awesome moment for that kid driving his idol’s car back!
4:24 that kid DROVE DADOS M3??? what's his @? absolute legend.
I lived in Kansas around that time in 2004, Kansas cops were awful, I racked up so many tickets living there I finally got the hell out in 2011.
Dado in Portuguese means Gifted/Free. So let's say I struggled a bit with today's thumbnail!
I noticed that as well lol
And dado in Spanish means dice
Soviet Labrador Same as in Portuguese.
Wow. I was there at union station denver watching you guys pull in. That was so long ago.
Dado was my fave to watch in those movies
holy crap I remember when the first videos came out back in the day, this is great
More Dustin please! Live his stories
I remember watching this. Nice to hear the backstory.
One of THE best VinWiki stories yet...
this was the best story i've heard on this channel
I really don’t understand how if you are doing over 120mph and run from the cops and they just laugh it off and let you go. It doesn’t make sense! Every cop I run into is always a major harass! I live in Utah too!
Man these guys were awesome! Still got a couple of their DVDs.
"FREE DADO" Ill take him!
I feel as if I’ve been watching vinwiki car stories non stop for multiple days. That’s only because I discovered vinwiki 3 days ago.
Omg, I love you guys, I still have my Mischief 3000 DVD, you guys kick ass!!
I would've paid gooooood money to have vlog footage of daddo🙌🏼😂
That would have been a great movie
I live in Kansas, our state makes their money from traffic violations and drug busts.
Yes. More Dustin!
God these mischief stories are amazing
I love this guy! Can we get more of the mischief series?
I had a big smile the entire time watching this. Highly entertaining
Man I love this dude STORYS omg they are so interesting.
love the mischief/ dado stories
I love this channel so much
Thank you!
Ed Bolian will we ever get a VINwiki office tour or something like that
Damn, this takes me back. Dado was my "Rob feretti". I had just gotten my e36 m3 and found all those videos of him on all the BMW forums. I aspired my car to like his, but in AvusBlau.
These guys see like a serious danger to the public
Very true on the last note. Commonwealth here in va don't take speed nicely. Been there done that :c
LMFAOOOOOOOO!! The homie in the window 😂😂😂😂👏🏻
Thankfully Dustin never went to jail for street racing - oh wait - nevermind

If Dado did that here in Virginia, he would still be awaiting trial lol
Omg.. Awesome story. Favorite yet.
we still havethe t-shirt!
replayed this story on the dvd a dozen times back in the day. hilarious. Free DADO!
Surely I’m not the only one who can watch these videos for hours on end. Especially when it’s Ed telling a story

Bringing back memories
I remember watch dado and his M3 on Mischief before UA-cam got huge
ITAL BL00D same here
Connoisseur Of Cars & Tig Ol Bitties same
I still have the very first Mischief DVD lol. Good times
Damn....... This channel is phukin dope!
$5000? Come on, you should let Ed do the shrewd negotiation.
My man got that Picasso brush haircut
Would love to hang with you guys on that rally, but I'd go to jail for life after that kind of hooliganism! LOL
this is exactly what I paid to have my felony evading dropped to a wreckless.
We need more Dado's stories! Awesome video
It's a bummer the shop (I think it was Active Autowerke) never got the car running well enough for his drifting career, Dado really had some talent.
Active is still around in Miami,
Ics performance tuned his 1995 m3 to 540hp.

i average 100mph in my slowest car, my 2001 540i sportwagon lol
shit can out-run most cars in a straight and on corners
^and? who fucking cares?
where is rabbit? have not seen him for a few weeks
We recorded a couple but then some other developments happened to each story so you will have to wait until after the 30th to hear about the meth truck and the pornstar's Camaro.
my god it's so long, how am I suppose to live without my weekly dose of Rob Pitts
I like this guy, but I didn't know about the troll doll hair cut.
I couldn't stop staring at that train wreck of a hair "style".
My dad would say, "if he wasn't born, he would be a Disney cartoon"
The judge only wanted 1K, it's the lawyer that asked for the other 4k, LOL
Where is dado right now??
Bruno Marques 👋
Yeah my friend!! :D
