Rail Replacement Overview 2020

Rail Replacement buses operate every weekend and Bank Holiday throughout the year in Great Britain. It's knowing where the engineering work is taking place to be luck enough to find these services. The Nottingham and Sheffield tram replacements over the summer are also fully documented within this video.
Recent PSVAR regulations have had a dramatic influence on what kind of vehicles can be used on these services. Once the usual choice was a regular coach with a privately owned operator, but now they must be where possible DDA compliant with wheelchair access and LED displays and visuals meaning that a lot of regular service buses can be found in some unusual locations. Many operators also run well out of their geographical area as can be seen in this video if you are familiar with some of the operators and locations filmed.
Over 2020 it has been difficult to record such services although they have still been running. The locations here are mainly the Midlands areas and South Yorkshire and there are rides onboard these services to enjoy.

Yes I think a scania solar is a good bus for rail replacement.
