I always laugh at the wine tasting segment of Tales of Terror in which Vincent Price's eyes open wide and make me laugh. That's the funniest segment ever, with the funniest pair of eyes Vincent Price ever had in his head.
I've enjoyed this Poe trilogy several times over the years, and I've looked up this 'wine tasting' clip from 'The Black Cat' (Tales of Terror) quite a few times. Vincent Price, Peter Lorre and Basil Rathbone..... camping it up in beautiful darkly humour. None could have did it better in moi opinion. I'll wager it took many 'takes' before all parties were able to compose themselves from fits of laughing.....
Back when I was a kid there used to be an old run down movie theater that ran triple feature horror movies every Saturday. I remember this movie from those days. I'd mow a lawn on Friday and make $2.00. On Sat. I'd catch the bus downtown, buy a Famous Monsters, a hot dog & Coke, popcorn, watch a triple feature, and ride the bus home. All on TWO DOLLARS! Of course the same yard would now fetch $30 and you could do about the same thing... except the triple feature... no one does that anymore.
Classic. Thank you for posting it. I've been looking for this short film for years. I think I saw it on the The Bob Wilkins Show, in the 70's. Was this part of a series of shorts? I remember several short films like this in a Twilight Zone kind of format. Memory is cloudy. Thanks, again!
It was part of "The Black Cat/ Cask of Amontillado" segment of the 1962 movie, Tales of Terror, starring Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, and Basil Rathbone.
Vincent’s face and mannerisms are priceless.. Lol. Especially when when Peter tells him ‘you do it your way I do it my way’
A wonderful scene, Vincent Price's face...no words...
Hysterical scene. Had me chuckling.
a masterpiece!
Laughed so hard when he inhaled lol I love Vincent price he was my great grandfather for real no joke

Very old comment I know... but its part of an anthology movie called the black cat. Each segment had Vincent Price.
@@nb0616 Thanks! Black Cat... I’ll have to dive into it.
