Hey DON'T knock your mechanical skills!! I see nothing wrong with the way you do things. Like I said in my other comment, I like your work. Your work is clean, you use proper tools (instead of just a hammer, an old worn out screwdriver, and a bigger hammer), you don't rush, you are willing to learn, and most importantly you are trying and learning.

Thank you I do try I know ppl with schooling with less knowledge that I know and for someone that didn't go to school and self taught and just researching stuff I mean the results are there. Maybe not the best but if all my videos where fails I'd understand. A lot of ppl are scared to even try and even I am too sometimes but then il never know right.

@@kikemotors6138 Exactly!! Great response. Never be scared to try. What's the worse that can happen? Something breaks, it cost you a little money? You will learn either way. I do know the feeling of being scared when it comes to mechanical work. I too still get scared after twenty five years of working on small engines.

Hi, what did you use to clean the carbon off the head and valves?

Is the timing correct? if not the valve clarance might not be right either. This can be caused by many things but more then likly those two the piston is hitting valves somewhere

So I rebuilt warrior 350. Put a new piston from amazon in it because it had a 5 star rating. Crankshaft spins fine, new timing chain and valve clearance is set properly. Once I install cam the motor only turn half way and stop forward or backwards. No spark plug is in it so it should spin freely but it’s not. I took the cam back out and noticed a deep scratch inside head like cam is too big to spin but it’s the original cam and was spinning fine before the rebuild. TDC is perfect so idk what else it could be to cause the original cam to not turn. Can someone give me suggestions please?

You sure the cam is good I had this happen with Ltz and turned out to be the cam or maybe something is out of spec like you said with out spark plug it should spin freely. Or maybe the sprocket spun out where the arrow and line meet? Lastly check valve clearance again make sure it's dead on could be too tight still? Let me know what happens , good luck! Ul get her running!

Well yea I accidentally forgot to put the bolt back in cranked it up and it spun out so I took crankcase cover off noticed I jammed the clutch bearing so now I can even get the clutch back on, broke half of the timing chain guide slot holder thing at the bottom, third the came won’t spin all the way now…What could that have caused to not have the cam to spin?? I have the valve clearance all the way out just to see if cam will spin but negative.

@@deedadon7142 are you sure the valves try and move? Did you do anything to them? Maybe wrong piston? Was it running befor you got it ?

@@kikemotors6138 Valves moves fine. I adjusted them all the way out just to see if cam would turn. I was thinking it could be wrong piston but it fits perfect but it’s not quite made like the oem one if u look at the one on amazon the bottom is flat the oem have 2 grooves on the side. U definitely could be right man

@@deedadon7142 take out the cam all the way and turn engine manually if it hits still it's the piston . Ya u gotta be carefull it has to always look 100% I look at all the detail on pistons and read the info over and over haha
