The Seagate Xbox Expansion Card is probably something you'll eventually have to get if you have a next generation Xbox console like the Series S or Series X. Next Gen games take up a lot of space and they require high data transfer speeds. Which means that USB3 drives can no longer be used for these new games. That's why the Seagate Xbox Expansion Card is perfect for this. And it comes in 1TB or 2TB capacities. I got the 2TB card and with a retail price of $280, it practically costs as much as the Series S 512MB console! But I got the largest expansion card just to avoid running into storage issues too soon. It's simple to use, just plug it into the memory slot in the back and it's ready to go. There's no need to format or anything.
Because games are getting larger and larger, the Seagate Storage Expansion Card is almost a requirement if you want to download and store several next gen games on the Xbox Series S or X. And right now, Seagate is the only brand that offers a 2TB model. Western Digital also has an expansion card but it's only 1TB. Unfortunately expansion cards are limited between Seagate and Western Digital at this time. The major drawback is the high price and not everyone can afford it after buying an Xbox console. But it's super simple to use and you can just plug it in and start downloading games to it. What i have noticed is installing games(downloading games onto the external HD has a much slower speed than onto the Seagate Expansion or the Internal HD, Thanks for the video, great stuff
Yes! Downloading to the Seagate expansion card and the internal storage would be the same speed. The expansion card is connected directly to the motherboard so they’re equally fast. The external USB drive is slow due to limited transfer speeds through the USB3 port.

I got a brand new series s boxed for £160 installed 3 games and memory full 🤓 will be buying the segate or wd c50 card. 😅
I bought one of these and I put the games that are Xs to download on to it but it still shows these arrows
i have a question so if i download games onto it i wont have to transfer games from the card to my internal storage to play right ?

I mean he has games on it and those specific games like Forza horizon 4 and 5 are over 150gb
He probably has 500gb used which makes it 1.5

You sure you got a series S or X. There's no way forza would not allow you to play it from the seagate drive or the main.
Its always that 1% that makes any thing look bad. Seagate is pretty much the same drive thats in the consoles. 100% it works. Maybe check your connection or how you have it set up or the game. If it works on the xbox 100% its going to work on the seagate drive
