this song is supposed to be about two people not being as close as they used to, but for the purpose of this video i decided to interpret the words "the ice is getting thinner" as = the ice/wall that kept us apart is melting/breaking, and because of that we are becoming closer-which describes Lily and Jame's dynamic pretty well.
i think James' best quality as a person is his love&loyalty for his friends, he's not perfect but the way he loves his friends is something that in my opinion could have been a huge factor to change Lily's mind about him, so I tried to focus on that.
i've been obsessed with them for as long as i can remember, back when the sims 3 was a thing everyone played and i would make them + the marauders just to create an alternative universe where they'd end up happily ever after, i can't believe i haven't made a video about them before, but honestly pretty recently people had started using Sophie Skelton as Lily and i'm so happy bc there's no one else as perfect as her for the role, i've been watching Outlander and fangirling like crazy with her scenes haha.
this was meant to be a... trailer-ish? for a series of one-shots i'm planning to write about their two last years at hogwarts + the war and finally the dissolution of the marauders, but i'm still unsure about that so we'll see, in the meantime enjoy the video!
