- Cooking Africa’s Most Appetizing HOMINY CORN PORRIDGE || OBLAYOO/ EYOO/MPESAA|| Sunyani Ghana
In This video I get to talk to Imma Aisha who was a hawker , selling Hominy corn porridge locally called Oblayo or Mpesaa. But due to some illness and health problems she stopped but has since been the best ever woman to cook this Porridge. She is willing to start her business again but sitting at one place to sell instead of hawking around.

Regardless of your degree in life, we as women should always learn from them. Thankyou for giving us the opportunity to fell as home. Love for Cote D'ivoire

I have been looking for a porridge video in Africa for about 2 years now and I have finally found one. I believe we call this dish grits in America and we eat it for breakfast. If I have my way I'm coming to Sunyani to try this out. I'm amazed where you can find a story of interest among the children of Africa. Peace and Blessings. I'm subscribing.
Thanks for loving it
@@TatianaHaina You're welcome Auntie, keep doing your thang... 👸🏾
Taty! Another wonderful video. All your videos have something different and unique in them. Which is amazing and difficult to do. But you are successful, because you are authentic and there are no gimmicks to your craft and those that you profile. Love the way you showcase the local community and highlight those you profile. You allow them to tell their own story, as opposed to you changing the narrative. Ma Aisha's story was very compelling for me, and yes we should help for her to build up and sustain her business, despite the medical issues she has. A way forward will be found. I found her humility very touching. For us to able to grasp the lives of the local community is a clear demonstration of what a great filmmaker and storyteller you are. And you infuse humor into the seriousness and realness of the situation effortlessly and appropriately. It makes us laugh and smile🙂🙂🙂. Again you are a genius! One other thing, you and Ala should sample more food! That was funny and gave Ma Aisha's cooking a double thumbs up👍👍! Do not run from the goats. They can be stubborn but are easily directed. Those goats are healthy and will be super in jollof! Keep the content coming.
Ahahah thanks boss. We will always take some of the food home. 😍🥰

Looks very good.
In fact you make me remember sunyani with this woman
Oblayo s nice oooo with some evaporated milk
You should look up the nixtamal process. It can be done with wood ashes or calcium hydroxide. It will take off the skin for her and save her a bunch of time and headache. Nixtamalizing corn is the most nutritious way to eat it.
Nice one yum
Beautiful super👌👌👌👌👌❤️❤️❤️
