“WE NEED TO GET TO THE VAULT! NOW!”
*vanishes into the shadow realm.*
"Why is this test room so decorated?"
Me spending too much time in the hollow test chambers while modding: This place needs some flowers or some shit.
People like you are what leads to me no clipping into rooms with no entrance for loot that is not there 😂
Yeah? huh? excuse me? yes?
I recently heard a quote that said something along the lines of “games designers are simply illusionists.” Well said.
breens speeches in hl2 work like this too
Wait thats not just pre rendered? Its a camera being casted to a material?
it just works
mid
I love how he says "Huh?" like he wasn't expecting you to be there.
I instantly thought of the g-man "you're not supposed to be here"
@@SenorKyoshin also you're not supposed to be here is the best song in half life series 🔥🔥
And let’s not forget the man in fallout 3 who is wearing a train for a hat!
Wasn't that HL2?
@@federicomarintuc probably, fallout 3 also during the broken steel dlc
And to make it weirder... the hat is flagged as GLOVE
Fallout fans find a new fun fact to share challenge
@@GregTheBearFighter its an oldass series what do you want or expect to happen
Does the newscaster talk in person as he does on the TV, or is it just a weird model setup the devs did to see how they wanted the report to look,
More of the second
Probably they just recorded the screen with those models and what you see in the TV it's just a video
A lot like half life 2 actually, its an actual camera to the newscaster saying the script in game as opposed to a video.
The in-game thing playing on the TV is not a feed from a virtual camera, like in Half Life.
You can see that the NPC newscaster’s pose doesn’t match the pose of the TV newscaster. Beth probably tried making it work like Half-Life 2 but couldn’t figure it out, so they just rendered a video to play on the TV but their NPC virtual camera setup stuff remains in the game files.
@@cole1714 lmao, yeah that checks out
Average person: I had very lucid dreams last night and they told me a lot about myself as a person
Me and my dreams: yeah? Huh? Yeah? *opens door and falls through space itself*
That could literally mean that you feel like youre not a real person, that your personality is shallow and you have no idea how to grow it, and feel as though youll be consumed by the void because your identity is based on such a thin, brittle, intangible thing.
Everything in the universe is a symbol, synbols come before photons. Light and dark were symbols before they were forces. And so was everything. Dreams have meabing, its up to you whether pou want to take on the responsibility of making sense of it.
The world is not obligated to make sense to us; but we are obligated to make sense of it.
@@amelioravictoriadionyssia3323, pardon?
@@amelioravictoriadionyssia3323Karl Yung would be proud. Seeing as how dream meaning was debunked in the mid 20th century.
@@AdamGilbert5530 dreams having symbolic meaning isn't something that can be debunked, it's not a facet of purely scientific or therefore physical value. The things that determine symbolic significance are not algorithmically static and cannot be replicated.
That doesn't mean they don't have significance or that they're unusable. Language is symbolic and we use it all the time, especially during analogies and metaphors.
Honestly I'm tired of skeptics like you that are so low intelligence that you're commited to your attempt to control reality. You can't figure out 2+2=4 if someone with a badge or a PhD didn't tell you.
I'm not judging you too harshly because I know that you simply just lack intuition and think of it as madness because it threatens your self-image of an intellectual dominant, but it's just not reality that you are.
Science can only prove so many things, it doesn't have the tools to explain reality in a full sense, and there's a huge chance that the information you have is only limited to a few fields, which is a highly disappointing thing I find of most skeptics. The vast majority of people forget the basic laws of one field when they discuss another. Does it not occur to them that the laws must be understood in conjunction in order to properly view the shape of reality?
Otherwise you are speculating, regardless. Lesser Knowings (fields of science, the origins of religions and mythos and proto-sciences like hermeticism) MUST at all costs be fused into the Great Knowing. This is the only way humanity can truly understand what things are.
We are in a war of information. Only a completed mind can completely understand anything. Incomplete minds which wage war on the other, point the finger and watch the temple topple over - those minds understand nothing.
@@AdamGilbert5530 "dream meaning" can't be debunked, it's not a static or scientific thing that can be replicated. It's a form of language and is therefore different across different cultural, personal and environmental factors.
Leave it to people like yourself to conflate two completely unrelated subjects with each other in a completely irrelevant way.
Apparently in Fallout NV they do a similar thing with Ron's narration, there is a actual NPC in the game who does the narration and can even spawn him in game.
Reminds of the Breencast room from Half Life 2
@@Vincent_A. Very true. Even some Gmod tools and maps that make use of the "live camera" that makes the Breencast work. Would have never guess that those broadcasts were live in game, would have just assumed they were recorded and played on in game screens.
Odd that the Newscaster's name isn't TV, usually it does that when someone speaking to use that name
@@JounLord1 really file size heavy so they dont do that
The baseline is the same, as it is easier to have an actual npc go down the speaking roles, rather than creating a whole new set of easily fallible setups for a single seuqence
It's THE MATRIX
ITS NOT REAL!!!!!

That's a basic noclip trick. Was like before the notorious ones in HL2.
That’s just about exactly how the Breencast works in HL2
This trick was used in Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines for the news announcements. You could turn on no clip and walk outside the map to find a small room with the reporter
They put a camera in the cell too? I don't recall there being a camera visible on the TV screen, so that seems a bit unnecessary lmao.
Take a picture with your phone, can you see your phone?
@ifleecy1285 you missed his point
There must definitely be an NPC off map to say the newscasters lines so they show up as dialogue, but since the TV show is a video it doesnt need to match the reporter shown... im p sure this vid is bull.
You dumb @@ifleecy1285
Maybe the camera is functional? /The TV shows what it is seeing..
The newscaster is God and he's just welcoming us to the apocalypse 😂😂😂😂
there's only 1 God, stop spreading shirk, please
Can anyone tell me the purpose of the guy sitting on the counter, silently reading the news?
he's the standard news guy before the bombs start to drop in the USa
The Bethesda method of having ambient voice dialogue is to have an in game entity make the sound. The normal way is to use an NPC and hide them either in the floor or behind a wall. The counter guy was probably the after bomb voice and the table guy probably prebomb
The only reason I know this exists is because of the cheat room mod
Oh is it I never saw that in the cheat room
Fallout 5 better give us at least 30 minutes of playable postwar content. I’m tired of already being in the waste.
Prewar?
The front door to the stratosphere caught me so off guard 😭😭
I need to find my brother Paul.
We cannot tell you what we do not know about your brother Paul.
He's out of town.
His apartment is down the street.
Im afraid he joined majestic 12
In a body bag.
He was in Northern Canada
You talking to me?
Maybe you should try getting a job.
This reminds me of how the end of new vegas sticks you in front of a screen while an NPC stands next to you and narrates the endings
It’s really cool
Just like my dreams
Why are you broadcasting from my kitchen within a different dimension?
-- Huh?
Huh?
Yeah?
Huh?
Yeah?
I really thought that guy was gonna be a unique ghoul or mutant character we’d get to meet centuries later when I first got this game. His voice was interesting so I thought surely he’d be someone but nope! 😂
I like the idea of a major news channel being recorded in someones kitchen
Isnt it easier and more practical to put a video file playing on the tv instead of the NPC enacting it during gameplay?
They recorded the npc in that room then put the video on the tv.
I enjoy nate saying that we beed to get to the vault especially after giving the rep a hard time "GO AWAY"
imagine being that newscaster
you just delivered the bad news to everyone that the world was ending then this random mf in a white shirt spawns in your office and causes you to start spouting out "Huh? Yeah? Huh? Excuse me? Yeah?" uncontrollably
that would be horrifying
Somehow more terrifying than the nuclear detonations
Thanks pretty cool. It's a lot like the breen box in half life 2
GU- GUYS, LOOK! IT'S NATE THE RAKE!!1!1!1! OMG IM SUCH A BIG FAN😯😯😯😯😯
I love that theyre actually using and in-game camera for it.
Game development can be so goofy sometimes, i love it 😅
Why did you put a trademark when there is absolutely nothing original about your video nor is it even something unique
Heres something the mainstream media wont show you!
OK that is hilarious . I had to switch to my computer because there was no way I could tell what you wrote otherwise.
jeez this is the oldest thing people know about and you decide to release this video 3 weeks ago?
Why did they bother adding a camera that you can't see ?
We ignoring the random second dude in the room
Making a game is a very creative process.
does that mean that the whole fallout is just a show?
They really had to add an entire house with shadows, collisions and even items?
Very rugged setup, that TV station has
Does he have anything if you try to pickpocket him?
I was trying extremely hard not to laugh seeing this
Wait so biden's actually in the game?
coming to you live from your kitchen
Same energy from hl2 wallace breen
We don't play it for the dialog.
so the game is all a act.
I've been there. Pretty cool.
It's a pretty common thing for videos game to have "broadcasts" just come from an unseen room in the gameworld. Off the top of my head I can think of two other game that do this: Half-life 2 and Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines. Half-life 2 does it with the Dr. Breen casts. VTM:B does it with the news reports that talk about your actions.
SPOILER no its not.
Yeah? Huh? Yeah? Huh? Yeah? Huh?
Why is there two of them?
“Need something”
When you try to have an exchange with a reporter, but their teleprompter is broken.
This is a common trick going back to HL2 (and probably earlier). You just spawn the desired scene in an inaccessible space and use a camera object to broadcast to a TV broadcast.
For the clues yes this is “ in the game” but not something your supposed to see. People are gonna be shocked at call of duty when they find stuff like this in it. Lol its in a lot of game people!
Did you know that when you install the cheat room mod you can go to the same place after you enter the cheat room there is a life like deathclaw statue and there are orange trap doors go the one with 10 or 7 Orange trap doors and find the one that says “TV studio” or whatever if you click on the trapdoor you’ll end up in a room but go out and you’ll see the news reporter
Ok, that's actually weird if this is legit.
Like, I can get why it would be in the game but some of the assets are kind of odd.
This is the most Bethesda possible way of accomplishing this.
like half life 2
I don't get it
That's how a lot games do their cutscenes and screens. With mods you can frequently find the place where the thing you see on a TV or during a cutscene actually is
So cool
Reminds me of the gif where a guy walks out a window.
huh
I always assumed the newscaster was the president for some reason
Not me getting a schizophrenia ad before the video started 😭
There's something very similar to this in VTMB
I love the thumbnail lmao
i thought this said "yes...im actually in the game"
Good to see the lack of any sort of facial expressions in times of absolute terror hasn't changed in Starfield either.
Need a newscaster in my settlement
Very nice job, almost fell for it 👍👍
No, no this is not in the game.
I like the thumb nail lol
D-did you go to the Newscaster d-Dimension?
ah yes the creation engine and the same devs who in all the games dont know how to make a ppt and make a whole proyection and a phisical narrator
ok if its in the game walk there and show us otherwise its where?
That is just old knowledge, and so well known it wasn't even worth the video.
Well it was new to me, and found it cool to watch so….
@@WaxerRed-gm9fh Same.
Not everyone knows so much about Fallout 4, so it was definitely worth it
