Mark, must say that your photography is really ruggedly beautiful. You still have that rugged exuberance to be able get into the settings to capture, then the skills to take to Photoshop and create real art. Absolutely gorgeous. My wife's family settled in Vancouver BC and she probably still has relatives there. Know now why they never left. Enjoy your vlog very much. Bill.
Another lovely and enjoyable video Adam. You are so lucky to live so close to such gorgeous scenery. Also no way Gavin can get under those tree trunks.😂😂😂
I was laughing at 1:30 imagining you limboing under the trunk 3 times - to set up the B-roll camera, go back and then come through on film. What artists do for their audience!! great to see the full process. Thanks Adam.
Hi Adam, Another great video! Really appreciate your walkthrough of rationale and decision-making. I live on the Island and hunt similar field sites, and could 'trade' you secret directions to another wonderful waterfall on the east coast of the Island :-)
This is my favorite type of Adam Gibbs video. He explains his thought process and his technique in clear terms. There was no buffoonery or tedious self promotions. Excellent work Adam. You captured a very lovely image.
It is fun to watch you work...your explication while standing in the current, of the reason you are where you are, shutter and ISO and even the comment about the log all really put your vlogs at a whole different level than most of what is on UA-cam. Thanks for being a great teacher to all your viewers.
@@QuietLightPhoto Thanks Adam, I think if you make an effort you could also win the award for best photographer of the year ... sorry, I am told by the director that you have already won it !!! Seriously, thanks for the reply, your modesty makes you even bigger !!!
Your video's have just been so useful lately. Well, they were always enjoyable. But now, they are turning into little master classes. Love them! Keep it up.
Thanks for walking through the various exposures mixed into the final image. It is the slowing down and careful look at the picture when standing in the stream that I find so hard to manage. Seems like most of my pics I find a bunch of blurry foliage blowing around that I didn't even notice while behind the camera, or I get home and find a big water spot on every single exposure. You make it look very straightforward and easy.
That was a great video. Thank for detailing the settings. It really help. Unfortunately were I live, Victoria Australia, we just have to be extremely careful when go out, we have snakes, spiders and some nice kangaroos and deer that can became dangerous. I enjoy your video. Thank you.
You are amazing to be able to talk us through the process so clearly while standing in water like that without losing concentration. Most of us couldn't even do the process of those various shots, but you narrated and photographed so well.
Excellent adventure this. Loved all the images and the process of making these images. In the last image higher ISO image blending has resulted in rendering different colour to the fern.
Hi Adam: Very nice spot indeed and you are very fortunate to have these locations in close proximity to where you live. I particularly liked the way that you walked us through your image development of taking various images altering shutter speed, ISO and exposure compensation. Keep safe.....Cheers, Keith Pinn (Barrie, Ontario
Love the way you "strum" that camera like a guitar. Instead of being frantic about ISO sharpness, optimum f/stops, and subject placement, etc, ie: (the professors rules and criteria) you say, "lets just get this thing done". Let's just get this thing done. Love watching; God Bless.
Ugh, I sure felt my back when you were crawling under that log Adam! I always get hung up. Another wonderful video and extra nice of you to explain your process to the final image. Must be wonderful living on Vancouver Island and being so close to a beautiful scene like that....
This is a nice blend of all the aspects that make landscape photography so fulfilling. From finding new locations, experiencing nature and getting some exercise to the creating of beautiful images. It is a lot of work creating these videos and it is appreciated. Thanks Adam
You might be smelling the twin flower. Tiny wild flowers with a wonderful smell. Check them out. I enjoy your videos for the photo info and the scenery. I lived on the olympic peninsula for 25 years. Hawaii now.
I absolutely love this. Struggling with a COVID19 situation in the family and your videos provide me a lot of emotional relief. Hopefully, in a few days I can look at your videos through a "different lens". The images in this video somehow take me back to the time when I was reading "Lord of the Rings" (don't ask me why)
I love the way you explain how you set up a composure and follow your process of focus points and exposure setting for focus stacking/exposure blending. It is extremely helpful! Thanks Adam.
I can't see how this video could have been any better. Beautiful location, incredible videography, stunning images, thoroughly explained process... I loved it.
This was really an incredible video. I'd have to agree that you are very fortunate to have opportunities like that. Thanks so much for inspiring me this morning.
I really appreciate the way you take the time to explain and demonstrate the whole process of capturing your images - even while knee-deep in water! Thank you! :)
A little faulty info on that thumbnail there Adam. No lost footwear to be seen. Full of water perhaps, been there done that. Yes, you are definitely lucky to have access to all these wonderful locations. Thanks for sharing your thought process Adam.
Looks beautiful! Great moments of zen in there. Any chance that was a fly fishing rod over your shoulder? Looks like the rivers would be incredible for it.
Another wonderful video, Adam. Thank you. I particularly appreciate the time you take to explain your process for sharp images front to back and exposure values for the water, flora, etc.
Hi Adam. I notice you are using auto focus to get the ferns in focus. Are you using back button focus so the camera does not refocus when you hit the shutter button or are you focusing on auto and then switching to manual?? I cold not see your method clearly in the video. Thank you for all the hard work you put into these videos. And thank you for being part of F4 Road Trip. I love it !!

Crawling under logs is so much fun as we get older....Nice and informative. I like the thought process explanations.

Adam, another killer spot and capture! Van Isle tourism should be paying you a salary for all the incredible PR you're giving our beautiful Island.
A man of dedication, bushwacking in wellies. Nice looking area.
Adam; thank you for sharing your gifted and talented photography skills with the world in your videos! They are GREATLY Appreciated!!!!!

Beautiful images Adam and yet again a masterclass in deconstructing a scene to bring it back together again in the final image. Just brilliant.
That was a great video. Thank for detailing the settings. It really help. Unfortunately were I live, Victoria Australia, we just have to be extremely careful when go out, we have snakes, spiders and some nice kangaroos and deer that can became dangerous. I enjoy your video. Thank you.
Maybe it was your cologne that you were smelling........ Another gorgeous locale to photograph. You are blessed.
What a beautiful photo and so nicely explained, step by step.
Unlike many photographers you know the names of the flora. Good on you.
Must come from being a garden photographer for so many years.
Appreciated the step by step exposure sequence.
Excellent seeing the technical way you approach the image
Really wonderful landscape and a clear demo on how to get a wall hanging still
You are amazing to be able to talk us through the process so clearly while standing in water like that without losing concentration. Most of us couldn't even do the process of those various shots, but you narrated and photographed so well.
Oplopanax horridus...aptly named...nasty plant! Another excellent video, Adam...thanks for taking us along.
You are a master of the craft. Awesome, my friend. 👏👏👏
Beatiful images Adam. No wonder you were Landscape photographer of the year.
Keep up the good work Adam, always a pleasure and very relaxing watching your videos. Especially when that Gavin bloke isn't around.
Another great view, Adam. Amazed at all the work that you go through to capture the video, let alone the waterfall camera shoot.
Beautiful scenery and photo. Always look forward to your videos!
Got to love these Fuji greens. 🤗
Excellent adventure this. Loved all the images and the process of making these images. In the last image higher ISO image blending has resulted in rendering different colour to the fern.
I'm 55 years old and find it's not the load that's getting heavy, it's the bones. Thanks again Adam, love your work.
Adam, for me this is one of your best videos, taking us along the process of how you worked the images was very cool and helpful. Thank you.

Great spot that you found and a nice tutorial on how to deal with a tricky dynamic range. Well done Adam!

The breakdown in process should help Gavin a lot!

Excellent classic Adam Gibbs how to do it video, so much more interesting and productive without the entourage to spoil everything .
Lovely video as always. So enjoyable to see you do your thing.
