Chris This pull the elbow around in front drill really showed me what's beening holding me back. As the butt of the club is pulled around, it is angled slightly down slightly and moves around to the left. My old swing I somehow cause the butt of the club to angle slightly upwards, which excessively flattens the shaft to parallel to the ground, and everything goes way out to the right away from my body. I knew rotation around the body was not in relation to the ground, I just couldn't understand how to get there. Doing this drill more of your teaching works like the feeling of getting down the 7.5, for example. A hard-won battle worth every minute of my practice. Thanks, mate. Best
Excellent video. Many years ago, for a few days, I was flushing the ball. It felt like I was in the slot every time but I didn’t know how I got there and I lost the feeling and didn’t get it back until I recently m put my trail elbow down. I identified it watching another video, then this one.
This is great stuff. Chris and my ball striking has improved. I still struggle after going halfway back on my backswing with lifting, and my elbow goes flying. I don’t know if I’m not rotating enough, but I just can’t seat. Keep the swing rotational I get lift at the end , and my arm gets above my shoulder, playing my trail arm and my lead arm.
Can you please do a video which shows how to keep the trail elbow down and the swing more rotational drills to keep the trail elbow from flying. Thank you so much, we’re gaining quickly.
@@NoMoreSecrets.BenHogan please do I can’t seem no matter what to get my elbow to stick It’s frustrating min hitting it well and in my practice swing I do it The real swing nope
Ive tried this technique studying Hogan for many years, but my biggest issue is the right hand is still skyward (as you say bicep curl). I carry that to almost impact and its hard to square the clubface that fast or you really need to be open like crazy. So what is solution for people that do this but don't have Hogans quick hands?
Chris, inspired by your power trail and gun point on right shoulder, I have swing thought that the most important thing is hitting the ball when / just before right shoulder enter the resistance free zone (shoulder point to target) What do your comment ?
I started trying to copy Jim Furyks swing. It didn't go well. I went from a 5.2 index to a 23. The silver lining however no one has learned to play the shank better than I have. My playing partners say I'm waging psychological warfare on the them because the shanks, even just thinking about them, is highly contagious. If you ever develop the shanks, don't fight it. Learn to play it instead. You'll index will go up, but that only means more strokes given on #1 tee, then shank your ball all the way up to #1 green and by the time the hole is over, the contagion has been spread. Then it's game on. Like pool, I always call my shanks before I hit them. This drives my opponents absolute nuts. Last round I played, I hit over 47 shanks and shot 82, which brought my index down from a 25 to a 23. Real Golfers Play the ShaNk

Will make a video about it shortly.
Can an individual’s feel be subjective? Is perception the same as feel?

Will do shortly.

Is this what Hogan called the free ride?
Followed by the correct body movement.

I like that thought.
@@NoMoreSecrets.BenHogan just try it last night the club pointing to the ceiling and my hip finish pointing to left of target
This is exactly what was a career changer for Tom Watson.
