don't say you were able to use the lounge without saying you had to pay for it, unless that's changed since we took our flight form ORD to HNL in Polaris. It was offered at a $49 per person option. It's also a day flight, you don't need bedding! I guess the moral of the story is, ONCE YOU'RE BOOKED DON'T MESS AROUND AT 2AM!
You said you had free United Club access because of the Polaris ticket. I thought it needed to be an international flight to get free access to the club. Do you have Priority Pass or another card that gave you access?
Thank you for sharing your flight here. I was hoping the meal service this was nice for you. The Polaris Business seats sitting closer to the window are really nice. I hope your next flight on United flying longe-haul will be better. I have flown from Chicago to Hawaii on the 777-200s and they have been nice.
I flew United in economy plus on their max 9 and I was not impressed, but then I flew economy on the same plane and I was so mad it barely reclined and had almost no room. This is when I was 9!
@@LazyBuilerYT thank you for watching and for your comment! I cannot agree more. The United economy is quite poor. I remember taking a cross country trip from DC to San Diego and I was shocked how terrible their legroom was on a 6 hour flight in their 737-900s. I’m not the biggest fan of United. I will take any other carrier in economy than United.
You paid for a 1st class ticket on a nine hour plane ride and were only served breakfast and a burger for lunch ! That is so cheap. I've flown UA 219 back in the old days and was served filet migion on that flight.
@@ericmundsinger6 thank you for watching and for your comment! I cannot agree more. I hate to complain about any flight that Im fortunate to take in business or received a great deal upon booking. However, considering the premium they charge for this route and the distance, it’s unfathomable how cheap United decided to take this service on this flight. Hopefully they’ll improve in the future, but I’ve only heard of bad experiences with United catering.

Refunds, by law, should now be automatic.
