- brawlhalla's newest legend thea is arriving this wednesday with rocket lance, battle boots, and 9 base speed. this is an analysis of all of her signatures revealed so far

- boots nsig actually does seem to walltouch, was just a bit wonky
- lance nsig does have a hitbox on the way back up

With most of her moves not being able to kill, she reminds me of Sonic.
i think its because they made her have low strength, so she could have max speed
eggsoup said she had 3 defense too... low attack and low def, doesn't sound that good of a legend at all.
still, boots are unbalanced and they will definitely carry her into competitive 2's

Considering that most of these signatures were struggling to kill against a 3 defense legend, I feel like they’re really trying to make Thea a more string reliant legend, who knows what type of combos are in store with those signatures
The idea for it is probably building damage with Battle Boots and then getting the kill with Lance

Although the boots kill confirm is sorta terrible so at that point hitting a lance sair or recovery probably is easier

Its consistent but sair force is a little low so takes a while to kill

I'm pretty sure you do get a wall touch with the boots nsig. The wall touch animation happens, it just happens at the bottom of the wall, where she first touched. It's just weirdly displaced.
haven't actually touched brawlhalla in a little bit but thea just seems like so much fun to play i could see her single-handedly getting me back into it, i'm loving her so far
Her reveal is why I came back after a 3 month hiatus, Proceeded to do better than I have ever done before. Sometimes you just need a break
Same, I haven't played for half a year so seeing her bring my motivation I once had makes me happy
I mean until you go against a spammer a lot of ppl been spamming in this game I feel like her battle boots is the only good weapon

5:17 it does have a hitbox on the return, it was actually shown during the volleybrawl matches and Thea did hit the ball with the lance catch!

This is like the first time they released 2 consecutive legends before a crossover since I started playing which was around Petra first being released.
Ya I’ve been talking about that, people have said before about to many crossovers and look at it now I’m pretty sure we haven’t had one since November.
i love low damage signatures, they leave a lot of space for combos and Thea, being so fast, seems like one of the most fun legends to learn

The battle boots were already a weapon that grabbed my attention enough to give brawlhalla another shot but the only character that had them at the time of release had a playstyle i wasnt a fan of. This character might get me back on it once again
I can see Thea being a good fit for a Flash or even Sonic crossover skins.
I mean if the sigs don't kill as early it's actually a great thing, because even if they kill a little too late. At least they're not going to be broken on release and we then would have to wait for a big patch nerfing them. if they're too weak dmg/force wise at least it can be changed.

I think having low force with battle boot sigs will be a good thing because of all the combo potential of battle boots

I doubt it, most of the attack kit can't kill, kill early, or has no force.
Essentially they only way this will be op is if she mounts damage super fast
Ther attacks are more for just combo. Her sigs are good but the power sucks... meaning she is all free style just like how tezca is! I love battle boots for its free style capabilities and options! It doesnt have one combo, there are multiple!

I just fought someone that was using the character today and not going to lie it's a bit annoying unless it's a lower-skilled player you're fighting

I can’t believe for 10 speed you have to get 2 defence, the only problem I have with her is that her strength sucks… her sigs have no force except for maybe lance down sig and n sig and boots n sig but the other ones have no force and she has 4 strength… she’s very fast though so hopefully that makes up for it.
She has lance and battle boots which both have true combos that can confirm kill so I guess the weapons make up for it

@@dinobutler4564 lance can't confirm kill, you need to do a read... Slight dair isn't true past orange and slight nair doesn't have enough force to kill in a regular game

and battle boots has dlight sair i guess yeah but tbh it takes forever to kill
so itll be tricky to kill with this legend
sorta like artemis but artemis has really strong sigs to make up for it
thea will just have to rely on some cheeky offstage plays if she wants kills that arent at barbecue sauce red

I'm REALLY interested to see if BMG is gonna nerf any of the startup frames or tweak any end lag on her sigs.
They honestly look extremely fun and FAIRLY balanced considering her archetype. High speed low damage is always enjoyable to play.
I'm also excited if she gets any competitive time.
thea as tails would fit better. both yellow, lance would be one of tails gadgets, boots are self explanatory and the sigs work too like nsig. Sonic as its own legend would be better like rayman or ezio.

Looks like another lance legend that won’t be played after a few months. Really wish bmg would’ve reworked the weapon before giving it to another legend

Did they show and footage if you throw the lance and it gets hit by a weapon toss does it hit you even if your not close to it or does it just go straight threw?

If person try to knock her off on the side stage she will up smash that mean it will she will knock the person blocking off and get recovery she has good recovery and pretty sure the cross over of sonic and knuckles and tails are coming pretty sure the next character has to be another battle boots character then the crossover will be sonic tails and knuckles is perfect

egg! do not make them boost her sig damage anymore than it already is please!!!! we gotta deal with the sig spammers and the fact alone that she has both boots and the godforsaken lance 😭😭😭😭 I just can't with this mix of weaponry 😤😣😣its just depressing....i feel like i worked really hard to get better at this game and now all of it is about to go out the window. i will never play ranked again unless its 2v2 other than that no thank you... God i hate this so much but thanks mr. eggy for all your help thus far but unfortunately i will be retiring and taking it easy until they come out with an even better character and maybe make people stop playing with lance so often
