As a katar main who also likes scythe this is exactly the weapon combo I wanted I was just worried about signatures. But now I can definitely say that Loki will be my new main whenever he comes out

More like a combination between Nyx and Jiro, and a male version of Nyx majorly.

Indeed, he uses portals to attack with a weapon like Dusk and some attacks are very similar to Jiro and Nyx's Sigs

if it was more in accordance with classic mythology i would almost have expected orb scythe, or scythe gaunts but hey, katars scythe is a goated combo and i can't wait to play it.

This entire video made me realize how solid the sigs and character design were for loki. Now we have to find a way to counter him but what are his stats? I assume dex and spd high and defense and attack low?

He seems too cool to be true tbh, there is not way he will actually have good stats whatsoever. and his sigs look but they have to have like no force or smthing THERE HAS TO BE SOME CATCH HERE. THERES NO WAY HE ACTUALLY BECOMES A GOOD CHARACTER WHEN HE LOOKS THAT COOL

This is definitely gonna be the best character in the game if you think about it you can’t really go anywhere when fighting him bc if you even try to dodge katar side sig your most likely gonna get hit anyway all his sigs are just OP and I’m definitely maining this character

These sigs look cool no cap probably the legend with the best sigs or at least best to look at but his stats probably gonna be weird i can see it already all speed and dexterity and no strength or defense which would make sense for loki

As a GS main who has trouble going up against katar mains (bc I don't encounter that many) scythe and katars is gonna be a nightmare and I'm a level 80 Jaeyun main

To get it out of the way: I don’t like fighting scythe or katars. I was gonna be super bitter about this weapon combo. Like, “okay buddy. No cannon? We haven’t gotten another cannon legend in years. I don’t care if it’s cannon-greatsword. I can’t play greatsword, but if it means we’ll get some representation? Whatever, go for it.”
Or I’d also say “THERE ARE 14 WEAPONS IN THE GAME, BMG. PLEASE. ENOUGH SCYTHE.”
Or “I can’t wait to get half-piped even more often than I already am.”
Or even “what sense is there in giving Loki a scythe? Y’all should’ve gave him spear or something!”
But then again, people have been asking for katars-scythe for literal YEARS. Probably since I started playing Brawl back in 2017, possibly earlier!
For my entire Brawl career, Mordex was the accepted meta. Experimental, ranked, strikeout, CUSTOM LOBBIES- over 6 years, it never mattered what queue you went into. If you sat down to play Brawlhalla, you were going to encounter Mordex.
And after a while, it gets kinda stale. Having to play the same matchup over and over and over and over like a stuttering record. But now, we have katars and scythe. BMG has effectively, HOPEFULLY, changed the course of Brawlhalla history with Loki. Yes, scythe is still “that weapon” that you can’t not encounter. Yes, even more people are going to learn one of the (arguably) most annoying weapons in the game. Yes, there are going to be people who simp for this character harder than anyone they’ve ever simped for before.
- I hope. IIRC people felt the same way about Munin. When’s the last time you queued a Munin?
But if all this means that I get to queue the same two characters instead of one? I’m all for it.

Has not been revealed but they usually show skins with the release date, I would assume next Wednesday/Thursday since they usually update the game on those days and they've already shown sigs so obviously it's in the finishing stages
