I appreciate your transparency. I am looking to become a Pilates instructor and I'm doing my homework right now. Your videos are very informative. Thank you
thats exactly what marketing needs to be, what each individual teacher focuses on, so clients can pick accordingly, I feel like people deserve to know what they are signing up for when they sign up for a class, not just what the "business" stands for, but each individual teachers style
Alex, my goodness what a topic you hit in this video! You give sound advice and great to see you built your explanation from the ground up. Absolutely, figure out your break even point to figure out how much you need to be making annually then hourly. Teacher rates vary from town to town, county to county and state to state but there are ways of standardising your Pilates teaching rate. Should you be working for a studio, should you own your own business and open up your own studio? All these answers vary on how you plan to work. I hear your concepts and use a similar structure when I coach my students to become certified Pilates teachers and run their own businesses. The formula I teach creates transformations over and over again. My clients come to be because they have had enough of overwhelm, not happy working for someone else, not managing to get by and living paycheck to paycheck. I offer them the possibility to gain a new skill in helping others, which not only gives them personal satisfaction but offers them a very healthy and profitable lifestyle. I'm loving what I do and I thank all my teachers for the skills I can pass on to these people! Sending you love and light!!!
Hi, thank you so much for this! It’s seems that it’s taboo to even talk to other instructors about this subject!I It seems that we don’t want to share any information about pay, work conditions or even self promotion with our colleagues! It’s kind of too bad that we don’t help each other improve the standards.
Hi! I totally agree- which is why I decided to start this channel. I think there are so many emotions within the industry because *so many* people have been hurt in different ways and we are encouraged to put on a happy face and act like everything is fine. It's like we gaslight ourselves.
Very informative! I’m looking at teacher training at some point in the future...potentially next fall at the earliest. Lots of things to factor in such as a good program, the costs associated with it, the length of time to complete the program, how it relates with my current job, etc.
I don’t care my teachers history or what they look like. I care about knowing what my experience is gunna be like when I get there and what they will focus on during the class and what I am paying for. And that’s never written anywhere
