We have been asked the same questions over and over so we decided to take a trip to Fanal Forest and talk candidly above the clouds about our experience in Madeira to date. We tell you how much our house cost to buy; how much to expect to pay per square metre to renovate a house; why we bought a house with no land and the latest on our Golden Visa application. But ultimately why we can't tell you exactly how much money you need to buy a property here!
We talk openly about another much asked question “Would we do it again”.

Hi guys! This is a very interesting video. I agree with you, you should be proud of the price you paid and how lucky you were to find exactly what you were looking for, at the budget you set and that it turned out as beautiful as it is. My husband and I also purchased a property two years ago, and it will be finished in a couple of months. We are glad we purchased it back then, because on today's market, we couldn't buy the same property and would be more difficult to consider to move to Madeira in the first place. I hope you enjoy your home for many years to come and the hard work you put to make it that beautiful :) Blessings!

Thank you for your great and informative video. For us, the location has always been the decisive criterion. Finding a property in the first row on Madeira has become extremely difficult these days and requires a lot of luck. your house is just a dream! Unfortunately you need to give your followers what they want or they will unsubscribe. You would've done yourselves an injustice by not sharing what it cost you if that's what they wanted to know. Glad you don't want to sell it , because if you do sell it and don't invest the money in the island , the government would take from you 35% of the profit you make on the house . Yes it's suc... but is the reality
Future price is not past price, Madeira is an island and Portugal was once poor. The risk to downside on real estate are real.
