Al Pacino took home the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in the movie.
Well deserved. Should have gotten it years before for his role in The Godfather. You always get a top notch performance from him.

Many claim that Denzel Washington's portrayal of Malcolm X deserved the Oscar instead. Hence, many also criticize Denzel's win for Training Day as an apology (although he already won Best Supporting Actor for Glory).
Al Pacino what a legend, a word thrown around to easily today but not for this incredible actor.

This is an amazing movie and a favorite of my mom’s!! Especially the court scene at the end. I won’t give any spoilers but it’s probably the one if the most iconic scenes of all time! Al Pacino won an academy award for this movie! He said that he wasn’t going to do this movie unless Chris O’Donnell played in it with him.

Frank admitted when Charlie was being introduced to the family, that his brother got him out of a lot of trouble. He had a quirk about him that he got pleasure out of shocking people. His newphew pointed out he liked to spit in everyone’s eye. Call people out on bs.
