I walked across Ireland, from Dublin to Dursey Island, in the summer of 2013. The Beara Peninsula was my very favourite part of the walk. I walked the whole Beara Way. I would highly recommend it to anyone who's physically fit, but it's no stroll in the park! I have also walked the whole circumference of the Dingle Peninsula, and have walked in the Burren, the Aran Islands (Inishmore and Inisheer), and Connemara.
Our pleasure and we will be releasing more videos on different places (and of course independent businesses) around Ireland over the coming months. Our next video is our Top 3 Scenic Drives in Ireland, which will be released in the next day or two. Stay tuned! ☘️🧡
Heading to Ireland 8 October. First time visit. I like the non touristy natural areas. Not to say popular places are not interesting, just want to avoid crowds. Your video is great. Only comment about an improved version would be to add some maps at the beginning of each point of interest. Hold the maps long enough to allow a "pause" in the video to hold the on-screen image long enough to transfer the data to a real paper map at home. I am definitely going to visit that Harbour town north of Dublin just to see the boats.
We wish you all the best on your trip and we're so glad you liked some of the spots we talked about. Thanks for the feedback! We will implement better map visuals in future videos. Don't forget to download our Woander App in the App Store or Google Play Store. It's absolutely free to use and we have a number of great independent businesses and cultural listings around the island of Ireland that are all worth a visit if you are nearby.
Cant wait for the summer to visit some of these places!

That is an absolutely incredible series of walks. We are very jealous! I'm sure you have some great stories from those journeys.
Love the Irish accent especially the way you pronounce Ireland.
Thanks a lot for your video We're going to visit Ireland as soon as possible.
