I’ve had the blue with the 3 link bracelet for some time now and it has become my everyday wear. After watching this video again I may just grab this black version on this bracelet. In my opinion, NOMOS is secretly the new Rolex of the future. Such high quality, service and design for an incredible price.
That notebook blew me away! I was already on board the Nomos train, but that handwritten memo is very cool and personal.

Enfin the Nomos! I absolutely love my 39 club and the 36 mm ahoy, these are the perfect holiday/week end watches. A bit sporty chick, very comfortable and reliable. They could indeed do with a bit of satin finishing to make it less shiny and more refined. Love them on their original nylon straps, absolute wearing comfort guaranteed . Another major important thing: Their after sales are the best i have had contact with. Very fast and very, very friendly communication plus impeccable service with the outmost respect to the state of the watch. (no scratches)

Nomos is awesome. Hard to beat the value and I like Bauhaus style design, in general. The minimal but stylish packaging is a nice touch, too. I like the Autobahn series the best, but this one in blue or a silver Tetra or an Ahoi would all be worthy additions. In Hawaii you say Aloha, btw.
Can you ask your rep about why German companies like the 10-2-4-8 design? My Stowa has that, many GO’s have it, as do many Nomos models.

dial and case look great, bracelet dresses up the watch, please shorten the lugs, make it 39mm and a brushed clasp. would like to know about accuracy!

Its beautiful......only gotcha is that if you are at this point, do you not round up to Glashutte? Their website is a bit trick to navigate to find this paricular model - neomatik isn't one of the familiies to search for among 'model famlies' so you have to really dig in.

Wouldn't the nomos dial look silly on a 42mm case size? Even their 38mm are way too much dial when i tried them on. And i have a relatively larger wrist at 7inches

I am usually not that guy but in this case the date should be at 6 as the 3 'o'clock position ruins the serenity of the dial.
pretty sure the DUW are 100% made in house including escapement, the non DUW movements are 95%

300 meters never meant diving in the ocean 🌊 at 300 meters deep ! A watch water resistant to 30 meters is only rain. Water resistant to 50 meters is only shower and dishes. Never drop the watch in water. Water resistant to 100 meters is for swimming in a pool. Water resistant to 150 and 200 meters is for scuba diving 🤿 Water resistant to 300 meters is for diving maximum 20 meters deep. To dive deeper you need a watch with 500 meters, 600 meters to 1000 meters deep. Than you can dive. And for the decompression diving you need a helium valve on the case of the watch in order to release the air at each decompression step
Bullshit. Sorry. Many watchmakers used to servicing reputable brands water resistant models have debunked nonsense “recommendations” like this. Obviously, higher ratings give greater margin for error, all things being equal, but a properly designed watch-properly maintained-is the real key to adequate protection for the task at hand. Even a 1000m + dive watch, neglected for decades, whose gaskets have long since atrophied, may not even survive a swimming pool dip without leaking, while a solid 100-200m watch (Rolex Datejust, Omega SM Aqua Terra, Tudor BB, etc) that has been taken care of can attain their design limits. Sorry as much as I love Nomos, it seems stupid to make a 300M WR watch, effectively a dive watch, without a dive bezel.
I like how it can be considered a highly capable field watch at only 10.2 thick in comparison to other 100-150m watches which are often thicker. I do wonder how many people actually use the dive bezel for diving though I assume they do use the bezel for timing events, cooking, etc. Cheers
