I was undecided between this beautiful watch and the new Tangent Sport Neomatic for almost two weeks... Finally, I decided to buy the Tangente Sport Neomatik 42 Date Blue Black 581 for my husband's birthday because of its fine aesthetics and design clarity. A wonderful watch and truly “made in Germany”. No Chinese component, no outsourced element.

I really like these, but worry about the watches becoming easily magnetised as they don’t use a silicone spring. I’ve read on a few forums this can be a problem. Have you experienced this at all?
The Neomatik movements from Nomos does not have any magnetic properties unfortunately. I didn't have any problems regarding this with my Nomos movement. And if it does get magnitized then the problem could be solved quite easy and quickly with demagnitasation. So if you really like the watches from Nomos, i wouldn't let it stand in the way. But that is my personal feeling. And if you want a watch within raughly same pricerange that does have a very capable movement, then the only watch i can suggest is the Omega Seamaster Railmaster. Also very cool, but a completely different design. You can find them new for around € 4000 on Chrono24. Have a great weekend 🤘 all the best Dick

I actually had a Seamaster but sold it to get a submariner then moved to Barcelona so can’t wear a submariner for fear of it being stolen. Sadly I had to sell that too so I’m currently watch less! Nomos appeal to me because they are quality and under the radar. I just worry about using my laptop near it and it getting magnetised etc 😅
@@alexpiptom This was one of my fears as well, but i am a very experienced desk diver 😉 And i wear my Nomos and many other watches with different movements like the Seiko NH34/5 or Sellita movements. Up until now i never had a movement that was magnitised. But you need to be careful and sensible ofcourse around electrical devices. Even my phone cover has a little magnet, so i always need to think about not put my watch on the case of my phone. Living on the edge 🤘 But in case something goes wrong, the service and communication from Nomos is excellent.

I own this watch and wear it on a NOMOS black-blue nylon (fabric) strap. Best choise IMO! However, an absolut winner. 100% buy!
That sounds like a awesome combo to wear it on a dark blue nylon. I should give that a try as well 👌👌👌
You won't be disappionted. PS: Usually I'm a bracelet guy but the bracelet on the Club Sport is not to my liking very much.
Same here … wear it with the same strap and transformed the wearing experience. Either Nomos bracelets are under par for the brand.
