LR Baggs Anthem Demo | Gibson J15 | Anthem SL

In this video I play some samples side by side using a large diaphragm condenser microphone for a reference, and the LR Baggs Anthem SL pickup to give you a better idea of what it will sound like in your guitar.
I really like this pickup, and I think that it is a great fit for most people!

I like the Anthem a lot better than the factory installed pickup. It's a super easy upgrade too. Well worth doing in my opinion.

I've looked at the Western Mini pickup many times, but I have yet to install one. Maybe I'll try one out on my next guitar! Once I find my next guitar! Haha

Well, the pickup sounds good, but the mic sounds better. By the way, what microphone is this?

I agree. It's hard to beat the sound of a condenser mic. This is a MXL V250. I have some Blue and Audio Technica mics, but something about this MXL sounds really great on acoustic guitars and mandolins.
