What a fantastic sound you get out of that Martin with the LR bags. I absolutely love the LR Baggs anthem pick up and have used it for years. The petals are absolutely wonderful sounding and don’t seem to create any extra noise which is very important.
I love how you explain things. Your a very good teacher. Your clear, brief and to the point. As a beginner acoustic guitar player, I didn’t think I was going to able understand the tech talk. But with you I can. Thank you.
Outstanding presentation, Corey! A big THANK YOU. The best explanation of how all that acoustic gear is “connected” I’ve seen/heard. Many, many thanks.

Great explanation and demonstration of how to dial in each pedal to get the best amplified acoustic tone. All of those pedals sound great and the sum of the parts made everything richer and more natural. Love that Reverb! (All of the pedals sounded great, but the Align Reverb is one of the best acoustic reverb pedals I've heard.) Very well done. Subscribing!
Thanks so much for the information! I just ordered the Taylor 717 Grand Pacific and will be having the Anthem installed instead of the Matrix Infinity because of this video. Cheers!
Thanks Corey I clicked on this to learn about my new pickup system but learned quite a bit about how to dial my acoustic tone in. I currently use a fractal for my Strandberg but I guess I will be making some acoustic patches now. Great info thanks.
Great explaination Corey. I love the Anthem pickup in my J200. LR Baggs are coming out with a new product called the voiceprint. Would really like for you to demo that as well to see if that would replace having all of those pedals into one. Thanks...
Terrific review! I must say though that after listening to several reviews of the Session pedal, including those from Baggs themselves, I can't say that I'm really hearing much of anything different using that one, although I did hear in a couple of vids where it just seemed to muddy up the mids. Actually, I'm fine just running my Anthem straight to the board and adding a little reverb there.
Corey thank you for this great review. Please do one on their chorus and delay. Your tone is unreal! Also if you use any other pedals for your acoustic for funsies would love to see it. Thanks
coreycongilio I do have a question. I notice the session is a bit noisy. Creates more white noise. Then when I engage the align reverb or delay it’s amplified. I’m not sure if it’s my amp (Genzler acoustic array pro?) or if it’s the pedals. Any advice is appreciated. Oh I power my pedals with a strymon zuma and use EBS gold patch cables. Thanks bud

Corey that was absolutely the best tutorial of it's type. Fantastic, and the clarity that you delivered on acoustic guitars , pickups and tone shaping just what a lot of us really needed. I have a Faith Venus Blood Moon, which has a lovely slightly dark rich tone with Faith fitted Addario strings. I changed them recently to another leading string manufacturer in a lighter gauge. Boy did that alter the tone, for the worse. So immediately change back to the Addario originals. Welcome back my old guitar, great! So strings for me is huge. My Blood Moon although great, is a little quiet and I boost volume with my Marshall AS 50D acoustic amp. Then I struggle to find the sweet signature of the guitar, I really have to dial down my limited treble eq controls as much as possible. Acceptable but not great. Am I always going to struggle because of the piezo. Or will improving my eq control get me to a happier place? The Braggs gear sounds fantastic but pricey so I need to know if it is worthbuying it , probabky a piece at a time! Corey a shirt and sweet answer would suffice. Thanks so much. Tom UK.
