I love the metaphor about the “moral compass” she used in the speech. I could not hold my tears when she had to narrate the darkest part of her life. I even heard her heavy sigh that made my heart ached for a while. This is an amazing, inspiring speech and you’re an absolutely powerful girl! To be honest, I became a big fan of Thao Tam from the initial episodes in the IELTS face-off, she actually made me surprise with my perfect impressions spent for her at that moment, a beautiful girl who got band 8.5 in her first IELTS exam, always being sociable and cheerful on social media and more, and undoubtedly a perfect person. This is literally amazing, I have a very similar problem with her but mine was an ED , it was very hard for me , I used to think about ending my life because of the body image I have in my head and things I have to faced in life . But watching this and seeing someone understand and felt my pain , I don’t feel lonely anymore, and to whoever’s are having a difficult time right now , I’m sure that you will get through it successfully and remember that there’ll be a person who always love you 🤍

I'm 21 now and I will have to face to a lot of struggles in the future. I decided to suicide last week but I also looked up to the sky like the way Tâm looked at it. And I realized that there are many gorgeous views in this world that I've never watched before... even a simple view I could watch it everyday. So what I have to die for? I'm 21 now and I will have to face to a lot of struggles in the future. I decided to suicide last week but I also looked up to the sky like the way Tâm looked at it. And I realized that there are many gorgeous views in this world that I've never watched before... even a simple view I could watch it everyday. So what I have to die for? There's always have its own solutions, we can absolutely solve it unless give up. Thank you! My heart's getting warmer
