It’s easy. You should know if you’re going to pass before you go in. It’s as stressful as you make it.

What if you are completely honest, but extremely nervous. How do you get past the nerves and anxiety?

That will not adversely affect your CVSA. Everyone is nervous but you could try deep breaths in and out. I find that helpful for resetting/concentration...you got this! 💙

Can you make a video on how you manage being a good/hands on mom while still thriving in your career?

I discussed this is one of my Q&As but may discuss it in the future as well!

Hello thank you for your feedback it really helped a lot especially about trying marijuana during high school and no longer doing it now that I’m a full adult.
    I have a question.
What about being arrested in high school and having a B misdemeanor, getting it dismissed and later got an expungement. Record clear. Will that affect getting hired at law enforcement?

I would be sure to disclose all details. Does high school mean juvenile? Because that makes a big difference too. Many agencies don't review juvenile records and at times, they are not even available. B misdemeanor is different in every state so I'm unsure of that. But just be honest and fully disclose everything.

I do know that I was in trouble as a juvenile and I did disclose this when I applied for the department of corrections and this did not cause an issue for me when getting hired with them. I would say though don’t try to hide anything. Better to give to much information than not enough.

I heard a story from the department of public safety here that they had to arrest someone during the oral board cause they admitted to doing drugs before coming in cause they were nervous.

I highly doubt that is correct information. Prior drug use is discussed in great detail during the hiring process...
