Great video and you definitely are a car addict! I would definitely change air/fuel filter and spark plugs and start from there. If the catalytic converters have had issues and were hacked up, I'd suspect that could be a part of the problem too. So many interior creaks! Hahaha Bonus, I've always loved the look of the E46 BMW's.
10/10 content. Would subscribe again if I could! Haha As for the performance issues… I’d check… -spark plugs -injectors -Fuel filter -Throttle adaptation -throttle body actuation -exhaust from headers all the way back -fuel pump -O2 Sensors And a wild one? -Pcv System
Catalytic converters. I know I come 10months after you posted it but I have the same problem with an ML320 myself. Ones that was fixed that suv kept running like a champ and also sold it to a buddy of mine and trips me anytime I see it because those year of ML’s are great in my opinion. Now I have a similar ML55 to yours. Good luck and hope this helps.
It is most likely your coil packs. MB of this era are notorious for bad coil causing intermitted misfire. They do dual spark so they wear out more easily, I presume. Replace your plugs while you are at it. Good luck!
Missing under load is definitely a spark related Coils or plugs Start there and then the fuel filter with is a bit shitty ti replace but its a must to do
1:57 Nice sticker terrible contrast Hahaha! For me this sticker will was should is writes "my other car is Hyundai Veloster N". My American Dream Hyundai N otherwise My European version on my dream i20N.
I’m sad because I remember when these were brand new. I knew someone with a black one and man the leather in these things were supple. It was unbelievably comfortable

The W163s have real leather, depending on the year of the 55 it could be bison leather.

Awsome unit! Very clean. Shoot it runs! Hard to find an AMG that runs for that price! Get it fine tuned and she will rip!
Last week I went on a 12 hour round trip to snag a 2002 ML55 AMG for $650 ! 250k miles & runs !
What’s the update on this ML? I’m local, would love to check it out!
It's in the middle of a complete mechanical refresh! An update is scheduled to go live on sep 10th

Colud be the coils or the intake manifold. I used to have a CLK with a similar problem, and it ended being the intake manifold
Mine does the same thing, it's fuel delivery related. I have a new fuel pump on order now, fingers crossed 🤞
coil packs?
It is probably the cranck sensor, it is a known problem of M113 motor
ABS module need to change!...
I have oem hid headlights off my 2002 I’d trade you for. As long as yours are hid
Also, I bet my uncle could get that dent out for cheaper than a new hatch
ML55 AMG seats are covered in Boar skin.
