Hi.. thank you so much for all info. Question re: 3 blade.. Do you have to go through that same type maintenance as you presented in regards to the 4 blade? I have seen some type (Now can't remember what), where you rinse and go.. Thanks for any extra help. I know I don't need to get the 5 blade for sure and am iffy on the 4. In your opinion is the 3 just as good and exactly what was it called again? Tysm!

I've had mine (Pitbull Gold) for over 2 years of me shaving both face and scalp 2-3 times a week. It has already given me my money's worth and if it were to break down today, I'd happily buy a new one. I've never had a better shaver.

Hallo Mike, I've literally just come across your review as I've been researching whether or not to get a Skullshaver. I'm sold! As a black man with very sensitive skin, I'm prone to horrid razor bumps and rashes if I'm not careful. This product sounds ideal for me. Definitely the Baron blades for me. Thanks Mike, this has been really useful for me.

please let me know how you get on with the baron blades. it is really smooth and kind to the head and face but as it is a less aggressive shave it might take longer to do than a more aggressive blade that could irritate

I'm a 31 year old male with a wicked a beard and an absolute terrible hairline. So I was like screw it. I'm gonna shave my head and rock a badass beard. I first had the Remington head shaver... Had it for 6 months and liked but 3 months into it, it just didn't seem to cut as well as I thought it would. I found this razor because a family friend dad got it and got the gold right away and just got mine tonight and omg I absolutely love this thing!!! I'm sooo happy. Shaved my head my whole head in 4.5 min. Absolutely love and will recommend to everyone I know whose bald.

for me a do a clean up (new video showing how to extend the blade life ) about once every month or so, i have not found oil necessary. but feel free to use a drop on each head every week if used daily, or maybe use coconut oil as a shaving oil, this will also lube the blades and is anti bacterial and natural.

I'm sorta old school, i use a trimmer ( because I'm old, i let my hair grow at least 2-3 weeks), trim, then use an ordinary rotary shaver (wet/dry) to do the rest (when i say 2-3 weeks, i mean i can pull it, without fingernails), take 5-7 mins using the trimmer, and about the same for the shaver, so around 15mins altogether.
Is this going to cut down my time..?

not sure, i haven't come across that yet. Normally i turn it off clean it and after it goes away. I have an idea that either the motor speed or internal temp reading triggers the clean up icon. So if there is anything impeding the rotation of the blades, or excessive heat is detected the light remains on?
just a idea, maybe it is still hot? or the blades or motor can't rotate freely?
